Currently, if we comment on an artboard and move it around the same page the comment bubble usually stays with that artboard wherever it goes. But when an artboard is cut/pasted to another page within the Figma file the comments do move with the artboard. This becomes a problem if I want to move my older designs into the archive page along with the comments for auditing. Any help?

As a workaround, you can actually move your artboard (example: frame/objects )with their comments attached to pages if you right-click > move to page. I hope this helps!

hey ​@Celine_D it worked for me too, when I create individual frames and add comment and then move it into an separate file Auto-layout, the comment sticks to the frame it was created and moves with it. 

 

But, I am searching for a solution for a comment to stick when I add it to one’s file, it shouldnot move as layers get added. I am still waiting for a fix here.
