Hi there, I have a problem. When I share a presentation link of Figma Slide, people can’t open it because they have a 404 error or the page doesn’t load… It’s very embarrassing because we sent this link to a lot of prospects… And when I try on my own, it works only in private navigation. But I can’t tell a client to try it on private navigation, it’s not profesional. Do you have any solution ? Thanks!

Issue with Clickable Elements Behind Expanded Social Bar in FigmaHi everyone,I'm facing an issue with my expanded social bar in Figma. Here's the situation: The collapsed state of the social bar sits at the bottom of the screen. When it expands, it visually covers a portion of the main content on the page. However, the elements that are beneath the expanded social bar (from the main content) are still clickable, which should not happen.  

So im pretty new to figma, and i was trying background blur when i give a rectangle a 1% opacity gradient of 1% full black to 0% full black when i notice that it has this grain texture on it. so i zoom in to check it out but the more i zoom in the more grain i see until at 25600% i get to more grain! (only one media allowed 😦 ) i try to export but it takes quite a while so i just restart figma. so im giving a project link to see if you see this also or if its just me! I’m creating a plugins project, but Figma updates its version, then I update Figma, and all my projects are gone, how do I find this?

I'm working on a design system and when I got to the input components, I created variants for the desktop version—all the same size but with different properties. However, I also need these variations for the mobile version, where padding, icon size, font size, and other properties change.Sometimes, I also need larger versions, like for a self-checkout screen, where the inputs are significantly bigger.Based on the desktop input I created, is there a way to create another set of components with the same variants and properties, but only change the padding, font size, border radius, etc., without having to simply duplicate and manually adjust the size of everything to fit mobile and other screen sizes?If you have any suggestions on how I could improve the way I've created these components, feel free to share. I've been using Figma for a few years now but haven’t fully mastered local variants, components, and related concepts.

Hi all! If I have a 3rd party payment integration for the plugin I built do I still need to apply to the waitlist “Sell on Figma Community”: docs.google.com But it is not 100% clear for the case of allready having a 3rd party payment integration. They say that you can use 3rd-party payment integrations, but with that integrated, can I just go through the publishing process and if I get approved they will just label it “Third-Party Payment” and publish it or will I first have to be chosen from the “Sell on Figma Community”-waitlist even if I do not want to use Figma´s own payment gateway? Hi. I have a Component for a portfolio with a text that will change on mouse hover. This text will be diferent in each card of the portolio. How can I change this text?Now I have 1 component with 2 variants (default and hover), but when I put the variant hover in my page content, this not change is always ‘hover text’.I’m new in figma and this topic is difficult to me.

Hi,I’m using the plugin API to develop a plugin that shows me which nodes are using my local color styles. The getLocalPaintStylesAsync method works to retrieve the styles. Normally, I would use the consumers property in that response to see the consumers; however, that’s been deprecated. When I attempt to use the getStyleConsumersAsync method instead, it never seems to resolve. It either hangs indefinitely or freezes the app. That said, is there any way I could retrieve a list of consumers of one style at a time? Or perhaps some other approach that actually works? Thanks in advance! 

Hello, I’m having trouble accessing DEV MODE here. The things is, the Design that I need to select the dev mode is on “View only” for me. I found it odd because I have a professional plan, the professional plan has DESIGN SEAT, which has DEV MODE included. I have FULL design seat, FULL FigJam Seat and I’m ADMIN. Yet, I can’t select the dev mode in this design because it’s on VIEW ONLY when I’m on it. Also, When i pass the dev mode option, it appears the message “This file is being moved, dev mode will be available soon”, which makes no sense, because I can see if someone is moving it as it has “multi” people permission on this design. That’s the odd part. Support asked me to change the project’s permission one by one, and me and the person that needs it, we both have “Can Edit” permission. But nothing, can anyone help with that?

Hello all,I am designing a box and trying to get these triangle shapes to overlay it. Here is how it looks in my viewport, which is what I am trying to get the finished product as. What I am trying to achieve. And here is what I am getting below. The exported result is very faint black triangles on the brown box cover. It seems like it is filling in all the area except the triangles I need. Any ideas? 

I don’t understand how .fig files are saved. I need to save them to my computer so they can be archived on external drives (for client work as part the contract - so having them only on the cloud/Figma is not an option). Why doesn’t this work like other files? And why when I try to open the .fig document on my computer does it not open the file.

I’m looking for the best way to export a smaller, more compressed PDF without sacrificing too much quality.Does anyone have any tips or workflows for this? Do you use any specific export settings, plugins, or third-party tools to compress the file afterward?Would love to hear how you all handle this! Thanks in advance.

So I recently got laid off and the company (they used Google Workspace) terminated my google account ASAP. I don’t have access anymore; I can’t log in. I signed up using that company account so I was wondering if there’s a way to change my email address linked to my account. Right now I’m just copying all the files and sharing them with my personal account. Currently it looks like this (I haven’t logged out yet) Thank you!

When I’m in Outlook on my iPhone, and click a Figma comment link, when I have Chrome as my default browser, at some point I must have clicked “open in browser” when it offered me the choice, because it used to open links directly in the Figma iOS app, but I want these links on my iOS phone to open in the Figma app so I can reply to comments.Now, I can’t undo this setting, and I can’t find this answer anywhere on the web. BUT, when I switch my default browser to Safari (which I never use), it happens to open in Figma app iOS. Which is great… But not when I have Chrome set as my default… which is bad. I’ve tried numerous ways to try to reset it but everything online talks mainly about Desktop and not iOS. 

I want to be able to hover over/off a circle and only make the same coloured box change (not all other colours).I am changing variable modes to make the boxes bigger/smaller but every hover/off changes all boxes not just the colour of the circle I hovered over.Is there a way to say “if I hover over the blue circle, only the blue box gets bigger… and if I mouseOff the blue circle, only the blue box gets smaller.”FEEL free to play with the file attached.Thank you in advance. 

Every time I get a notification in Outlook from Figma, if I click the link it takes me to the browser instead of the app. Is there a way to force send me to the app? TIA!
