I am experiencing a challenge in Figma. I am trying to avoid elements showing behind blended layers. Any tips on how to achieve this?

To explain further, I masked an image and added the "hard light" blend mode, then I put this above another element, and the layer behind keeps showing through the blended image, causing it to look transparent. If I switch the positions of both elements, the blended image doesn’t show through the other element.
