I've been working on products that include AI agents and I'm finding it harder to map user flows compared to traditional applications. Since the AI can take different actions based on context, the journey isn't always predictable. How are others handling this in Figma? Are you creating multiple states and flows, or is there a better approach?
Hi everyone,I'm having trouble deleting some token groups/collections from my variables panel and could use some help.As you can see in the attached screenshot, I have duplicate groups like 03. Spacing, 04. Viewport, 05. Border, etc., right under my 00. Core color line. However, the option to delete these groups is completely missing or unclickable.Has anyone encountered this specific bug or lock state? Is there a way to force-delete these groups without breaking the rest of my local variables?
I’m part of a two person team who will be prototyping a user interface in Figma Design for a project with a tight budget. We have a couple of custom brand fonts we will be using. Do we HAVE to use Organisational plans instead of Professional plans? I’ve read that there are work-arounds where you can define styles in shared libraries, that reference local fonts, and they work as long as both users have the fonts installed. Is this practical?
This still has not been answered.Or, how do I create my own non-sexualized progress bar?
I'm on the free Starter plan and considering upgrading to Professional to insert a video into my Figma Slides for my portfolio. If I miss a payment and get downgraded back to the free plan, will the video I added still be visible and playable to people viewing the shared presentation link?
I’m on the Pro Plan. Last week I used the First Draft functionality. Now it’s gone.I understand that the new Agentic AI feature is in beta and is being rolled out gradually. However, the disappearance of the AI functionality is a roadblock. I have plenty of AI credits left. Is joining the wait list my only option?
I was just researching for a solution, and I saw a year ago a post by Dave_Montrose asking about whether you can share a presentation in Figma Slides without the recipient having access to the original file.He proposed a nice solution of adding&hide-ui=1at the end of the URL.While a great solution it isn’t fullscreen and ESC takes you out of it.My Question is, is there any updates on this matter, did Figma fix this issue?Additionally is there any other diy solution any community members have to propose?
I am trying to recreate the "swap instances" example from the tutorial. However, the right-hand sidebar doesn't show a section labeled "Parent Component" or "INSTANCE," as seen in the tutorial. This is shown in the tutorial. I don't have it.What am I doing wrong?
Hello,Before slots were introduced, I created placeholder components in my library and configured them to accept locally created replacements. This applies to modals, for example. Now that slots are available, I would like to switch from this method, but I’m concerned that doing so might cause issues for designers who use the replaceable component.Any tips?
I went onto my Figma and I have lost all my files. Please may you help. I can not remember which one it was under but either emails below. The main project was called Camilla's projects
I am facing confusion about Figma AI CreditsI use full seat plan on a monthly basis and previously in Admin section there used to be a separate section which showed how much credits has been used but now figma has made some changes in the plan and I am not able to see the status here which is confusing.Should I pay more to get AI credits? Or am I getting those 3000 credits which I used to get, since I am on full seat planned. Will I be charged if I use agentic AI within the Figma canvas? Or is it just for Figma make? Here it says people using AI credits ?Can someone help because when I have used inline agentic AI within the figma canvas there has not been any use of tokens?
This is a strange one. See the attached video for an example of what is happening.I have a white label design system with the “brands as modes” approach. In the example video, I have applied 3 different brand’s modes to the 3 different sections. When I copy/paste directly into a frame of a brand with a darker colored navigation bar surface color (which uses inverted variants of the navigational buttons), the label for some reason resets. Both the regular and the inverted variants of the original button component has the same text property applied to the label. As you can also see, if I drag it directly from a frame into the “inverted” brand, the label stays intact.Bug?
When we talk about creating great digital experiences, topics like usability, accessibility, and visual design often take center stage. However, cybersecurity is another factor that can directly affect user trust.Users share personal information with websites, apps, and digital products every day. If that information is not protected properly, even the best-designed experience can quickly lose credibility. A security incident can impact user confidence, customer retention, and overall brand reputation. While designers may not be responsible for implementing security controls, design decisions can influence how security features are adopted. For example:Making multi-factor authentication easy to understand Designing secure yet user-friendly login flows Helping users recognize phishing attempts Creating clear privacy and consent experiences Reducing friction without compromising securityOne challenge many teams face is balancing security with usability. Strong security measures are import
Hi Figma team,I'm hoping someone here can offer some advice.I need to update the "Bill To" and "Ship To" addresses on an invoice that has already been issued by Figma. This is for our company's accounting and reimbursement purposes.Details: Invoice ID: 6MIEEJTT-0003 Plan: Professional Plan (paid account) The invoice was generated with incorrect address information, and I need it corrected for our records What I've done so far: I contacted Figma Support via email on June 15 I replied to their auto-response with my team name and admin confirmation on the same day I sent a follow-up email yesterday but still haven't heard back I understand these things can take time, but since it's a billing-related request on a paid plan, I was hoping to get some clarity on: Is it even possible to update the address on an already issued invoice? If yes, how long does this process usually take? Is there any alternative solution, such as voiding the current invoice and generating a corrected on
I am making prototype where I have a button component that have an Enabled and Disabled state. On this specific instance in the prototype I want to add interaction on only the Enabled state of the button and nothing should happen when clicking the Disabled button. By default the button is disabled and I use a variable to set the Enabled state under certain conditions. Is there a way of adding specific interaction on just this instance of the button component? I can’t add it in the main button component as I want other instances of the button to behave differently. I guess I can use a two buttons on top of each other and hide the disabled button when I want to enable it but that way of solving the problem seems not how it should be.
I have these unexpected objects floating in presentation mode in one of my slides. These objects aren’t in the layer associated to the slide, even if I hide all the elements in the layer to try to locate these objects they still appear in presentation mode.
Hi, I deleted my account because I accidentally saved my last name incorrectly and I couldn't change it to be written exactly as my student id to be verified for the educational plan, However I'm currently trying to create a new account using the same email, and it sends me a message "your request has failed".... Why is this happening? and when will be the suitable time for signing up again as I am in the run-up to a deadline, and I’ve already tried Opening an incognito/private browsing window Trying a different browser Switching the wifi to mobile data Disable any VPNs or browser extensions as mentioned before, I hope someone from Figma can come across this as fast as possible please, thank you
Hi! I have a annual Professional subscription. 4 days ago, an intern accidentally added +1 Full Seat, and on the 28th June Figma will ask me for $48. The subscription is available and hasn't been assigned to anyone. Can you help me figure out how to cancel this subscription?Figma hasn't responded for 4 days.
“Couldn't access Figma due to a technical error. “ Figma to Wix Studio Import Continues to Fail – Anyone Else Experiencing this This?I'm hoping someone in the community can help because I've spent several hours troubleshooting this and have completely run out of ideas.I am attempting to import a Figma design into Wix Studio using the official Figma to Wix Studio plugin. The plugin appears to connect correctly, but the import process consistently fails after approximately 20 seconds. What HappensThe Figma to Wix Studio plugin opens normally. The plugin confirms I am logged in. I click Next. I paste a valid Figma file URL into Wix Studio. Wix accepts the URL and begins processing it. After approximately 20 seconds, Wix displays:"Couldn't access Figma due to a technical error."The important part is that Wix initially accepts the URL. If the URL were invalid, I would expect an immediate rejection. Instead, Wix appears to begin processing the file and then fails during the import process .
Hello,I urgently need help.My Professional workspace was previously billed in EUR. When I try to reactivate it, the checkout only shows USD while displaying the message:"Your plan was previously paying in EUR and therefore must continue to pay in EUR."As a result, my workspace has been locked and 233 Figma files are now read-only. I cannot move them, duplicate them, or edit them.Case number: #1964411I am ready to pay immediately and need access today for professional work.Could someone from the Figma team please help me resolve this issue or provide a manual EUR payment link?Thank you,Romain Papin
Hi everyone,I'm currently working on the UX and interface design for a sleep calculator. One challenge I've encountered is finding the right balance between simplicity and usefulness. Users typically want an answer quickly, but there is often additional information that can help them understand sleep cycles, recommended sleep durations, and how different schedules affect rest. Some questions I've been thinking about:• How much educational content should appear alongside a calculator?• Should the primary action be focused on bedtime recommendations or wake-up time recommendations?• What's the best way to present multiple results without overwhelming users?• How can trust and credibility be communicated through design alone? My current approach is to:Keep the calculator as the primary focus. Reduce unnecessary inputs. Use plain language instead of technical terminology. Prioritize mobile usability. Surface results immediately with minimal friction.I'd love to hear from other designers:Have
I’m working on a content design concept for a parent-focused informational interface that explains everyday health and hygiene topics in a simple, non-medical tone. One example topic I’m using is: “When should kids start using deodorant?”This is intentionally a sensitive and age-dependent subject, where the goal is not to give rigid instructions, but to help users understand:There is no fixed age It depends on physical development and body changes Some children may need it earlier than othersI’ve been exploring how to present this type of information in a UI so it feels:Clear and easy to understand Non-alarming and age-appropriate Supportive for first-time parents Structured in a way that reduces confusion and anxietyWhat I’d love feedback on:How would you structure this kind of information in a UI card or modal? What tone works best for sensitive health-related guidance in a product? How do you balance simplicity with accuracy in UX writing here? Would bullet points, progressive disclo
I’m using a popover component with a slot. One of the items inside the slot is a fixed-height auto-layout container with a list of items. I want this list to overflow:scroll vertical, however, the prototype scroll options are disabled. I tried nesting this in a new frame and the scroll options are disabled for this new frame as well.I’m trying to avoid breaking the original component and utilize the slot. Is scrolling only preserved for the slot itself or can you embed scrollable items within a slot? Here’s a video showing more detail:
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. I’m late to be learning Figma Slides. Currently stuck with something that surely shouldn’t be hard to do.I’m want to delete some text styles from a Figma Slides template but the delete button is greyed out in the main menu and there isn’t one when i select a text style to open the context menu.Strange? As do the same process to delete a colour there is a delete button in the context window.Am I missing something?
