I am creating component sets from an icon kit as an intern assignment, and so far I’ve been doing it manually and it’s hellish. Any tips?

Hi everyone,I’m really hoping someone here can help, because I’m stuck and support hasn’t replied.I accidentally added one extra full seat to my plan (I already had 2 collaborators). I removed it right after, thinking that would cancel it — and it was never assigned or used.But now I’ve been charged for it anyway, and I still see 1 unassigned full seat showing up as "available" in the billing section. I can’t find any way to cancel or remove it.Has anyone had the same issue? I really don’t want to be billed again for a seat I’m not using.Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,I’m learning Figma by making a Spotify mobile design clone. In the search section, I created a status bar (fixed at the top) and a search bar below it.When I prototype and scroll, the search bar hides behind the status bar instead of stopping just bottom of status bar. I can’t simply group the status bar and search bar together, because there’s a section in between.I’m attaching two short videos:1.Current prototype → shows the issue (search bar hiding behind status bar).2. For the past few months I’ve been able to see my images on my file but for the past few days all the previews have disappeared & I’ve tried to update Figma, update my computer, clear my Figma cache and nothing has worked. The images are still within the Figma but I just can’t view them

Hello! I want to copy a gradient from illustrator and paste it in figma as a vector. I tried importing it as an svg but the gradient appears as an image, not a vector. Also, direct copy paste doesn’t work either. Is there any solutions or should I create the gradients from scratch in figma?Thank you!

Hello,As a teacher at two interactive design schools, I use two edu accounts (I also have a basic personal account). One edu account per school, as their educational programs are not the same, with the appropriate email address. I therefore received a verification message for both schools. One of the accounts has been validated, but when I try to validate the second one, it tells me that I have already validated it, or that I have exceeded my verification limit (while still showing me the countdown and notification to verify it). How can I resolve this?

I made a component of Text with Switch On/Off with variants and use nested instance to call it. It is working fine in main component but when i create an instance it switch off but the frame remain same and my bottom text is not coming upwards, can anyone help me with that?

Is there a way to create a page with multiple prototypes and each of those prototypes have different permissions?Example:File 1 is accessible by the enterpriseWithin File 1 is Page 1 that contains 3 different prototypes. Those prototypes each have different starting points.Prototype 1 is intended to be shared with the internal team so no password is needed.Prototype 2 is intended to be shared with clients or users so it needs to have a public link with password protection.Prototype 3 is intended to be shared with other clients or users so it needs to have a public link with password protection.From what I understand, the prototype links all change when you change one of the permission settings and i’ve experimented with branching the file but that feels like an extra thing to keep track of. Am I missing anything?

We wrote stories and linked it to figma components(via copy link to selection cmd+L) within the stories. We then did branching and started rolling out incremental updates, but now on merging a branch, the pasted Figma links are taking the users to a cover page and not the component.Is this normal? How do you work when the components are getting incremental updates?

I’ve read up on as many forums similar to this issue, but none seem to have a fix for our situation. Problem Summary: Icon colors occasionally revert to nested component colors instead of inheriting the main component's color tokens when switching sizes in icon-button instances.Component Structure: Nested component: .icon-button-configuration - controls button sizing  Main component: icon-button - wraps the nested component and manages color variables Visual of the bug:In the screens below, I’ve create an instance of the icon-button component and switched the size variant. The icon color sometimes changes back to white (nested component's color) instead of maintaining dark gray (main tonal component's token). The issue only happens with x-small, small, large, x-large. Dear all,I was facing the same issue with variables in mobile prototypes. The variables are working fine on desktop, chrome or safari but not working on figma mobile app  or mobile browsers.I found out that it is caused by custom fonts that I used. The fonts are not available on mobile so It crashes. When I set the fonts to Inter, It is working fine.I saw that many people are struggling with this issue. I solved my problem by changing to default fonts, If you are facing the similar issue, try checking if you are using a font that is available on mobile phones.

Hi all, I am trying to create localised assets for my company and using Figma Buzz and the Bulk Create feature.I paste in the template I am working with into Figma Buzz, upload the xlsx file with the format as attached but when connecting the items and clicking “Create assets” it’s creating the assets but it’s just duplicating them. It’s not replacing the text as per the spreadsheet. What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug?
