Workspace edit permissions granted, but still prompted for edit access on individual files

Hi everyone,

I've been granted full edit permissions at the workspace level (as confirmed by my admin), but whenever I open a file I haven't accessed before, I still get prompted to send an edit request instead of being able to edit directly.

Has anyone else run into this?
