Hey everyone!I’m looking to upgrade from my old tape measure and want recommendations for a reliable digital measurement tool.I mainly do woodworking and some home DIY projects, so accuracy and ease of use are key. I’ve seen laser distance measurers and digital calipers online.I want to start measuring more efficiently and precisely, especially when working with tight spaces or tricky angles. How do these tools perform in different lighting or surface conditions?Any features I should look out for? Appreciate any input or real-world experiences.

Hi Everyone  I have recently paid for a Figma pro plan annual. I was able upload videos on the Figma file no problem, but now I suddenly can no longer upload any videos. It says I need to upgrade to a pro plan. But I am already on that plan. Has anyone experienced this? Anyone in Figma can help with this issue?

Hello community, I ran into a little problem and have a quick question. At first I made this simple text button with variables I configured every parameter on the button with variables and now I can switch button size (with icons, text size, etc.) to S, M, L, XL sizes easily.However if I make split button like this with text button + icon button grouped together, my sizes of S,M,L, XL doesnt work anymore, I have to click every button inside nest and change appearance via variables individually, is it possible to change all grouped elements via variables at once?   

Hi everyone,Just purchased a file, the purchase went through and…. Nothing. The file didn’t open and I can’t find it anywhere. Is there a place in Figma where all the purchases files are listed?  I found the file I ‘bought’ through the Community browser and it still says “Buy for ...”, I can’t download it. I have a receipt.

It doesn’t let me design 

I just created a new Figma account, but I’ve actually been using Figma for quite a while and am pretty familiar with it. I was hoping to start selling design files through the Community using this new account.But I noticed that the option to sell files isn’t showing up yet. Does anyone know if there are certain requirements before this feature becomes available? Like, do I need to upload some free files first, have a certain number of followers, or let the account be active for a while?

Hello, i have problem, i would to like make a menu for dashboard and prototype it. I would to prototype it like in real menu in programmed live version. So when i select one part in menu then rest part of menu should be deselected, the links of menu should also go to seperate views of application.  I have two buttons and they have same animations. I want to first one has same transition like the second one. The first one has hard transition on corner. I'm confused. You can check from here

I’ve created a prototype which has a few flow starting points for different user testing task scenarios. I typically ask the user to click on the sidebar in prototype mode to jump to the different starting points.I have buttons in my prototype which are positioned center-bottom on the page. When users try to click on them, the “previous frame” and “next frame” buttons from the Figma UI appear and get in the way.If I hide the Figma UI, it gets those buttons out of the way, but also hides the sidebar.Is there a way to hide the “previous frame” and “next frame” buttons but keep the sidebar visible?

I have an instance of a button. The button instance is smaller than the original component for padding and height. (manually adjusted to make the button tighter than in other use cases) I have a smart animate interaction between a default and pressed state on the component-level.On the instance, when I press, the instance animates larger (matching the component-level size) and then back to the size it is supposed to be when the Press finishes (on tap event). I know I can fix this by just removing the “while pressing” event from the instance, but I have the same problem with a button beside it that would take you to another page after tapping, that one stills needs the “while pressing” event. How do I fix this?

I know how to make rollovers and the first (original) rollover card I make works perfectly. When I drag out a new instance of the original and change the image, On rollover I do not get the new image I get the original.The only workaround I know is to make a new components every time I need a new card. Can anyone please help me be suggesting a better/faster way 

Hi community!I create a product card component with 2 variants. And when you hover over it, it will switch to the variant below. Both variants have an arrow, and the arrows have the same name as well as the same place in the hierarchy. They are connected with smart animate. I assume that when you hover over it, the arrow will not have any animation. However, when hovered over, the arrow will disappear and reappear. Hi ! Looking for help:) I created 2 frames (hero and ‘what client says’. Both of them are within auto layout frame - frame 3.What I want to do is to make a chair picture come out off the hero frame yet it is being clipped inside.All of the frames have clip option disabled. What do I do wrong?

I’ve noticed an anchor point occasionally appearing when selecting a shape or frame. However, I haven’t figured out how to access this feature consistently, it seems to show up at random.  

In Buzz Bulk Create, every time I want to make a change to the data in my spreadsheet, I need to reconnect all the data fields to my layers. Is there a way for Buzz to maintain those connections so I can refresh my data and not have to reconnect every single layer all over again?

In Bulk Create, I have been unable to select an image layer that is behind another image layer to connect a data field to it. Is there no layer panel in Bulk Create mode?

When using Bulk Create for text fields, I’d like to be able to designate certain text as italicized within the spreadsheet. If it were markup, it would look something like this: “This is a Headline. <i>This is a Headline in italics.</i>” Thanks!

Has anyone successfully migrated their Make project code to Cursor or VSCode?If so, what steps did you take. 

I am using the Utopia plugin to generate steps and spacing for a design. What I’m now looking for is starting small and using a variable or token for say, an h1, but I would like that h1 to be reflective of the clamp font size relative to the frame width. So for a mobile design the font size should be closer to the minimum font size, while a desktop design would be closer to the max, or all the way. Hope that makes sense! Thanks.

This new accessbility contrast checker was added so you can see it when selecting a hex color directly on an object, but however, when you edit a Style color, this accessbility feature is completely missing? Why isn’t this consistent, so you can always see the accessibility contrast?
