I can´t see the layout grid in some of my design files.

SOS from Slime City! When I examine images in Figma, I can not find their DPI anywhere. Is there any way to ascertain if images will reproduce poorly on export, or print, besides squinting? Eg: If I'm looking at an old file, or something others have been working on, is there any way to determine if the image has been stretched, or what it's original size was?  If not, here's a great idea for a useful little feature… 🕵️♂️🧪✨

Hello Figma community. Im coming from the world of 3D design, and figma is a new interaction field for me. I have a question regarding some buttons and how they behave which is confusing me to understand, so I hope the community can help me out. I have a task to make a button with 6 different states, some states have a bracket with (on) & (off) which I dont understand why, if someone can ellaborate on this would be great. I have made an example on how I believe these buttons should be, if they become interactive.And I also have uploaded a practise PNG if someone would like to do his or her own version. why is there 2 states with the same name, Default, Pressed, hover? This is my understanding how it would be, the offs would be less bright and darker. The hovering states one would be brighter when the mouse hovers, and the hover off would be dark I suppose. I want to add an external developer from another company to a project of ours. He doesn’t have an account and I want to give him the dev seat, but I’m worried that If I pay for a dev seat on my professional plan, he can view all other projects which I dont want to.Is possible to give him access to specific files of a project with that dev seat and at the same time, he only can see these files and nothing else?THanks

How can I get the toolbar back to the top? Now it's impossible to navigate normally, the toolbar blocks half the screen, it looks disgusting. In the old version it was much more convenient to navigate the program

Styles and variables are being listed only if “All libraries” option is selected. When I select a library it spins forever. Even if I create and publish a new library and go to a new file, nothing changes. Anyone having this? This started with last update I guess.

Hi, I’m using a Professional plan and I noticed that AI feature has been disappeared. I’ve restarted Figma but can’t find it. I’m already on the latest update. How can I fix this?

I was using my student email account to get access to Figma during my university time. After I graduated, the email also got disabled and I could not access to Figma as well. Is there a way to regain access to that account? I did ask the university about this, and while waiting for their reply I also wanted to post this question here to see if anyone had experienced the same thing. Thank you.

I am experiencing a challenge in Figma. I am trying to avoid elements showing behind blended layers. Any tips on how to achieve this?To explain further, I masked an image and added the "hard light" blend mode, then I put this above another element, and the layer behind keeps showing through the blended image, causing it to look transparent. If I switch the positions of both elements, the blended image doesn’t show through the other element.The circled place shows my challenge I attached an image as well to explain further my plight

I have a layer repeated 32 times throughout many pages and I need to rename it. When I search for the name I find it 32 times, but when I switch to Replace, it says there are no results. Am I missing some step?

Can we export the images with 300 DPI in FIGMA, I tried but did not found any solution.

My experience with the Relay plugin in general has not been great.

ChatGPT claims it can read Figma JSON, but so far I have not successfully been able to export my entire Figma file into a JSON file that ChatGPT can read. Can anyone suggest a method of importing a large Figma file into ChatGPT so it can help me analyze the designs and help write a PRD? Thanks!

Hi, I just noticed that my team subscription has tripled without my awareness, likely due to past invite links I shared with others. I wasn’t aware I needed to manually remove those people from my team.I’ve now gone ahead and removed everyone, but it still shows 5 available full access seats. I only need one full access seat and want to make sure I won’t be charged extra for the additional ones I no longer need.Could someone please clarify whether there’s a way to remove these available seats, or confirm if I’ll be charged for them? If I want to use Primitives and Alias tokens I have to scroll trough long lists of variables.

I’m working on a school project and need to create a blog with different entries, this is the base template for how an entry should look on the main page (Article thumbnail, title, authors, date and brief description) I have around 5 categories to do and each and every one of the articles is going to have the same elements… I’m wondering if there’s a way to create just one element and then input the data and create copies for each article on the main page (or if the only way to do it is copying and pasting it….) Sorry for my bad grammar, english is not my first language. I manage a large-scale multi-brand design system The setup is pretty large - albeit standard IMHO 1000+ text styles - where all text style properties are variable-based. Duplicating styles individually/manually is straightforward, however, at this scale, it is prohibitive. There are a few methods (cut/paste to another file) and plugins to help workflow in duplicating text styles without variables, but they don’t support/maintain variables. Any thoughts on how to do this with Variable-based text styles? Use case: We already have 3 font variables per brand: “Body”, “Brand”, “Marketing”. We want to add a “Serif” font (in variables) for each brand, by cloning (for example) the “Brand” version/tree of the text styles across all sizes/styles and applying “Serif” font variables.
