I’m creating a prototype with a right panel where the panel contents “slide in” and “slide out” to show navigation.

The first layer darkens as it’s sliding out. I can’t figure out how to stop that. I just want the first layer to move off to the left and the second layer to slide in from the right. In the example below, captured mid-animation, “top level” is sliding out and “second level” is sliding in. Both have white backgrounds but “top level” is darkened as it is exiting.

What causes this and how can I turn it off?
