I'm having trouble using the glass effect in Figma and I'm not sure what I might be missing. Is there something I might be missing or any common issues to check?

I've been trying to apply a glass effect to my designs but it doesn't seem to be working as expected. I'm wondering if:
- There are specific requirements for using the glass effect
- It might be related to my subscription plan or account type
- There are certain conditions that need to be met for it to work properly
- It's a known issue that others have experienced

Any guidance or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

I understand you're having trouble using the glass effect in Figma.

To clarify, effects( including the glass effect ) are available on any plan, and anyone with can edit access to a file can apply and adjust them.

Just to better understand your situation, are you unable to apply the glass effect at all? Or are you able to apply it, but it's not producing the expected result?

I am unable to apply the glass effect at all. The option is visible, but it is completely greyed out and not accessible.
