I have a brutalist style design that involves lines and strokes and depends on a specific relationship between different elements with strokes. To achieve that, I have been using centered strokes since they run perfectly centered on the element’s edges, and adjacent touching/tangent elements’ strokes meet up perfectly without doubling - simple and straightforward, no extra work needed to adapt the physical dimensions of the elemens for the stroke or choose different stroke positions for different elements. But recently I noticed that the elements get overlayed on top of their parent’s stroke, and to “fix” that I have to enable “Clip content” - which in turn breaks a lot of other elements within the stroked element that depended on out of bounds design elements, like frame edge/corner decorations.Let me know whether this is unintended behavior, and whether I can expect it to be fixed. Otherwise let me know whether there’s any way for this to be remedied while maintaining stroke position

I feel like my AI Agent credits run out pretty quickly, even when I’m only using it for a few design tasks. What kind of workflow do you use to make your credits last longer? Is it more efficient to write one detailed prompt instead of making multiple smaller requests? And how do you handle revisions without unnecessarily spending more credits?I’d love to hear your tips or workflows for using Figma AI Agent more efficiently, especially if you’ve found a way to make the credits last for a long time.Any advice would be appreciated! 🙏

Thanks everyone,Here is my setup visual. I wish to set up this component with 3 properties. I can successfully set up 2, but the third continues to not work. The problem property is the icon/light-forest layer. I want that to be another Nested instance, just like the hex-color layer. Every time I try, I get the “Not used within component” error, and it doesn’t show up as a Nested instance when I try to link it. I don’t understand what I’m doing incorrectly.-Chris

I see many people with the same problem when updating or releasing new plugins. Can someone help me? I’ve already sended e-mails."We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed"

Figma Make is resetting index.tsx in supabase/functions to a 26 line stub code in every chat.Claude or I can restore it from a backup, but having it reset to code I did not write or ask Figma Make to write is pretty awful. srid_0TKMDSP4HYX4PF5THNWHMN0XY -- if that helps, that’s the log from my session.

Hi All,I've completed two UX projects and am currently working on my third. However, despite applying for roles, I'm not receiving many interview calls or job offers.I'd love feedback on:• Case study structure and storytelling• UX process and research presentation• Visual design and UI quality• Portfolio presentation• Areas that may be preventing recruiters from shortlisting meI'm looking for constructive criticism and suggestions on how I can improve as a designer.https://www.behance.net/vincyvarghese3Thank you for your time and feedback!

Hi,I connected my github account to figma make and created the repo from figma make. Everything went fine. Now, I want to push the code to github. But I simply don’t find the option for it. If I go to github in figma make, I only have the option “create repository”. So, what’s wrong with my setup?

Starting today, the color picker no longer remembers my last chosen color model and reset to CSS ever time I open it. See recording. It’s the same on macOS app and in the browser (Chrome).

Im working on a small website and im trying to keep the design simple without the page feel empty. i usually prefer a clean layout with limited colors and fewer elements, but im not sure how much spacing and visual content i should add. when designing a homepage, do you focus more on the layout, typography, or adding visual elements to make the page feel complete? review my page and then give suggestions. id be inetersted to hear hoe other people approach this in fignma.

Hi Figma team,I’m Kareem, Sponsorships Lead at HackCC, a 501(c)(3) and California’s largest community college hackathon. Our 2026 event is Nov 14–15 at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa with 350 students from 30+ campuses, sponsored by AWS, Google, and Boot.dev. Most of our hackers are community college students who rarely get access to events like this. We’d love Figma’s support through a “Best Design” or “Best Use of Figma” prize track, swag, or a Figma designer as a judge or mentor. Could this be passed to the Figma for Education team? Happy to share our deck privately.hackcc.org

Hello, I would like to request a refund for my Figma subscription payment. I would appreciate it if you could review my case and let me know whether a refund is possible.Thank you for your assistance.

We had a Figma account with an owner email that we no longer remember. After doing a cleanup on our PC, we lost access to the saved login information and can no longer sign in. The email [redacted] is associated with the account as a viewer, not the owner — we've forgotten what the owner email is. We've submitted support ticket #2201387, but since we can't receive emails at the address on file, we're posting here for help. We need assistance recovering the account or identifying the owner email so we can regain access. This is urgent — any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,I’m using the Figma MCP server with Codex, and I’m experiencing an issue with use_figma: the same request sometimes succeeds, while at other times it returns a message saying that a Full Seat is required (I currently have a Dev Seat.)According to the official FAQ, read-only operations should still be available with a Dev Seat, so I expect the request to always succeed.Below is a technical summary generated by Codex.----EnvironmentMCP client: Codex Figma MCP: Remote MCP Plan: Enterprise Seat: Dev File key: N2i5Xfv16eonu10Nmes4iH Target node: 29583:56677 Node type: INSTANCERequestThe use_figma request contained the following parameters:{ "fileKey": "N2i5Xfv16eonu10Nmes4iH", "description": "Read-only comparison of Figma Instance 29583:56677 with its Main Component; do not modify any nodes", "skillNames": "resource:figma-use", "code": "<4071-character JavaScript code>"}The complete JavaScript payload is attached as use-figma-read-only-reproduction.js.txt. Identical calls wi

Figma Team,First of all, thank you for giving me the opportunity to participate in the Figma Research Program and for providing a reward for my contribution. However, I am facing a serious issue with the reward card. Although the card appears to activate in my wallet app, I cannot use it for purchases in Pakistan. It does not work reliably for local or online payments, and despite the Apple Wallet support information, I am also unable to add it successfully to Apple Wallet.Unfortunately, this makes the reward practically useless for participants living in Pakistan. Receiving a reward that cannot be spent is disappointing, especially after taking the time to contribute to Figma's research program.I kindly request that Figma consider providing an alternative payment method, such as a direct bank transfer, Payoneer, or another payment option that works fully in Pakistan. Alternatively, please consider working with a payment provider that supports Pakistani users and allows them to use thei

Please correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t believe there’s anyway to disable the snap to grid with a keyboard shortcut. Typically in programs I’ve used, you can disable snapping by holding CTRL or ALT. Since ALT has the functionality of duplicating the selected item, it would be nice if holding CTRL then could be used to prevent items from snapping to the grid when dragging them. Thank you+1

Hi, the new version of “Edit with prompt” has been bothering me a lot. It removed one of the most important features for my workflow: prompt history/recent prompt. For a lot of my work, I reuse the same prompt multiple times to generate different outcomes. Previously, I could just click “Edit with prompt,” select a prompt from the history, and hit Generate. Now I have to type or paste the prompt again every single time, which makes the workflow much more repetitive and inconvenient.I also find the new popup placement uncomfortable, since it always appears right next to the image and gets in the way.The previous workflow was much faster and more efficient. I’d really like to see prompt history brought back, or at least have an easy way to reuse recent prompts.

Hey everyone! I know Figma Make has an official Supabase integration for this. My question: is there any native way to make user interactions (edits, additions, etc.) on a published app persist and be visible to every visitor — like a shared database, not just local/per-user storage  without connecting an external service like Supabase or Firebase? Is this possible today within Figma Make, or is an external backend the only way to get shared/multi-user persistence? Thanks!

Can anyone assist me with getting my prototype to fit into the frame when in presentation mode. It fits perfectly when I preview the prototype but as soon as I try to present it zooms in. The frame I worked on was iPhone 14 and that is what I selected for presenting it.

I use Claude on two separate Claude accounts, and both need the Figma MCP connector pointed at the same Figma account. This does not work. As soon as I authorize the Figma connector on the second Claude account, the first one is invalidated and its Figma tools stop working (“The user’s connection to this connector was invalidated”). Re-authorizing on the first account then kicks off the second. The same Figma login can be authorized in Claude Code’s own Figma plugin at the same time without conflict, so the limit seems to be one active authorization per Figma account for the Claude connector client, rather than a general one-session rule. Please allow one Figma account to hold more than one active authorization for the same MCP client, or document the limit and the intended workaround. Reproduced October 13, 2026 on the current remote server at mcp.figma.com with two Claude accounts, one Figma account. My original report was categorized as Suggest a Feature. I am reporting this as a bug

I never use the AI Agent. I have no desire to use the AI Agent. I resent Figma’s attempts to get me to use the AI Agent. Yet, when I create a new Design file, the AI Agent panel is open by default. Two questions:How do I select either “File” or “Assets” as the default pane that opens when I create a new Design? When will you release an update that allows me to remove the AI Agent button from my left nav bar?

So im trying to export and entire Ui for roblox but when exporting in my folder it looks like the pattern didn’t export or isn’t there and when putting it in roblox studio or any program it doesn’t show upThis is how it looks after exporting This is how it looks on previewI need an answer fastIT EXCLUSIVELY ONLY HAPPENS WITH PATTERNS NOTHING ELSE

We generate FigJam flow diagrams (breadboards: screens with stacked actions, arrows between them) from a plugin via the Figma MCP. The Plugin API lets us set a connector's two endpoints (node + magnet or position), but not where an elbowed connector bends — FigJam always puts the vertical leg at the midpoint between the ends. On any non-trivial flow (several places stacked in a column, links skipping a column or looping back), that means several connectors share the same channel or cut through boxes, and the only workarounds are hidden dummy nodes or replacing arrows with text labels.  What would fix it:Read/write access to a connector's waypoints (or the elbow offset that the UI lets you drag), e.g. connector.waypoints = [{x, y}, …] for ELBOWED/STRAIGHT lines Or at least an "avoid overlapping other connectors/nodes" routing option Users can already drag elbows by hand in the UI; we'd just like the same control from a plugin, so generated diagrams look like hand-drawn ones.

Hi,I don’t know if I’m the only one with this problem. I have the slot. I configure it, etc. everything awesome.I take the instance, try to use it.Add an instance of the component that I had selected as the preferred one. Now, it breaks my Fill for width and height for the component and the component doesn’t fill the slot area! Now, I know it has to be changed to fill but weren’t slots supposed to be automatic? So that whatever is put there, it behaves like it should?WTF?Another BROKEN FEATURE… OMFG.

Hi, I’ve lost access to my email and can no longer log in to my Figma account. I don’t have email forwarding set up from the old address to a new one. Could you help me create a support ticket?
