can i request reverify Figma Education again? i made mistake

Hello,we found the following issue when swapping libraries. It seems Figma properly swaps variables, but not modes. As soon as a mode is applied on a frame or a component / variant it is not correctly swapped and shows duplicated modes. We were able to isolate the issue in a very simple file setup (see attachment).File 1 - Test LibContains a simple color variable with 2 modesContains a simple style as well (not using the variable)File 2 - Test CompContains frames using the variables from the Test Lib, one applying also a mode, one applying the style.Contains a simple component set. Each variant uses the variable. One variant also applies a mode. This is how it looks in the original Test Lib fileThis is how it looks in the original Test Comp fileAfter copying both files and swapping, it looks like this in the Text comp (copy)Obviously the variable is still applied, but modes are not.Library is correctly connectedWhen looking at the details of the layer it is very obvious that we have a br

We are currently using a paid Professional Figma account that was originally created using one of our employee’s Outlook email credentials around 7 years ago. That employee left the company about 2 years ago, and their Outlook account and credentials are now locked/deactivated. However, the Figma account is still actively being used by our company. Currently, we have two other members under this account, but we are unable to fully manage the account because the original account owner/admin is no longer accessible. We need to: Add another company email/member as an admin or account owner. Manage the billing and payment settings. Increase/manage our AI credits and other account-level settings. Could you please guide us on how we can transfer the admin/owner access from the old employee account to our current company email? We want to continue using the same existing Figma account and do not want to create a new account. Please let us know what verification or documents you need from us t

Hi everyone,My Figma plugin has been marked “In review” for approximately two weeks, and I’d appreciate some guidance from other plugin developers or the Figma team.Plugin: Source to Design for JetBrains ReceiverPlugin ID: 1686774800472314244It is a free companion plugin that imports local .s2d.json files generated by a separate WebStorm plugin and creates editable Figma layers. The Figma receiver requires no separate login and has no network access.Figma’s support assistant directed me to the forum, so I wanted to ask:1. Have other developers experienced similar review times recently?2. Is there a way to confirm that my submission is still in the review queue?3. What is the appropriate channel for contacting the plugin review team?I can provide a sample .s2d.json file and testing instructions so reviewers can test the receiver without installing WebStorm or purchasing a license.Thank you for any advice!

Figma doesn’t support comment deep-linking through URL fragments. Figma’s setRangeHyperlink() API deliberately sanitises and removes URL fragments before storing themFor example, if I add this comment URL as a link on the page, ….........?node-id=7-4524#1967128705, Figma strips the fragment, and the link becomes ….........?node-id=7-4524. One workaround is to replace “#” with “=”, which displays the comment but doesn’t take you to its position. The reason I’m doing this is that Figma’s comment management isn’t great. As a designer, I see each comment as a potential task, so it makes sense to create a plugin to manage comments there. The only limitation is the issue mentioned above. Ideally, Figma could provide better comment management. I’m wondering whether there is another workaround.

I’m building around 40 social media post templates for our marketing team. This is not my first time using Buzz but I’m rather new to it. I am a daily user of Figma Design though. Testing my templates, editing content, changing layouts, swapping variants etc all works, but I cannot seem to open the simplified content editing panel. It used to be shown on the bottom left of the window, and I saw it once or twice while testing, but I’m pretty sure it’s a bug. Clicking edit only opens the ‘Bulk edit’ panel, there’s not even a button for the normal panel showing anymore (square with pencil icon). Wondering if this is a known issue and is being worked on or not. For me it’s not a big issue, but for my marketing team this panel is very easy to use and much preferred over the manual ‘click on the frame to edit’ or bulk edit panel. Thanks!

Currently, importing and using a Community design system (like the Streamlit Design System) in a personal design file has way too much friction. When duplicating a library from the Community, it lands in Drafts, then I have to move it to a Team project, open Library settings, publish the file, and then enable it inside the file I am working on before I can drag and drop a single component.Proposed Solution:Dedicated Libraries Tab on the Sidebar: Add an explicit Libraries element directly on the left sidebar alongside Layers and Assets. One-Click Direct Import: Allow users to import or link any component file directly into their active file from that sidebar tab without maybe add an import to the folder level as well so assets can be easily allocated to an entire project

Please let me disable this fly-out. It’s so annoying!

Hey all,Is there a keyboard shortcut to navigate through comments?  eg. Next / Previous Thanks!

Hello Figma Support,I’m working in ChatGPT with the officially connected Figma MCP plugin. I have edit access to the target file, and other canvas editing actions work, but image uploads fail.On September 28, 2026 at 16:18 UTC, I requested a fresh submitUrl from upload_assets for file E1r9TavVGj7XrvGMaL6RAb. Following the tool’s preferred instructions, I sent a 706,594-byte PNG via POST as multipart/form-data, with the image in the file field. The endpoint on mcp.figma.com returned HTTP/2 405 Not Allowed, with a 163-byte HTML response from openresty/1.27.1.1. There was no Allow header or request ID, and the image was not placed.Could you investigate why the fresh upload URL rejects the request format specified by upload_assets?

Hello Figma Support Team,I’m reaching out regarding two billing issues with my account.1. Unwanted Seat RenewalsBefore my subscription renewal date, I removed two seats because I no longer needed them and did not want to be charged for them again. However, both seats were renewed, and I was charged for them.I would like to request a refund for these two seats and have them removed from my subscription so I won’t be charged for them in the future.2. Accidental Dev Mode SubscriptionDev Mode was also enabled or added to my subscription by mistake. I did not intend to purchase it, so I would like to cancel it and request a refund for any charges associated with it.I would appreciate your help in resolving both issues and adjusting my subscription to reflect the seats and features I actually need.Thank you for your understanding and support. I look forward to your response.Best regards,OnMeeting Team

When I export presentations from Figma Slides to PowerPoint that have fonts in thin or light weights they become regular (e.g. inter thin in Figma becomes inter regular in PowerPoint).Figma is good for designing slides. And presentation via Figma is good for Figma users. But the majority of people want to get PowerPoint slides. So for Figma Slides to be useful for businesses, it needs to play nice with PowerPoint.

If I have an element:auto layout on has a max width setInside that element is a child:width set to “fill” When I remove the max width from the parent element the child element width gets set to “fixed”. That’s not what I want! Thank youdrew

After I updated a component in my component library file, all the instances in all other files has turned into an empty frame without any content. It seems if I create a new file, it works fine. But for all my other existing files, there is now just an empty purple box. There are no layers in it. The main component is fine, with content and layers. The only thing I changed on it was auto layout-issues.  How do I avoid having to create new instances in all my files, or create new files for all my files?

Urgent: Figma Design File Suddenly Disappeared — Owner and Admin Cannot Find ItHi everyone,I’m facing a serious issue with one of our company’s Figma design files and would appreciate any help or guidance from the community.File: RegoOriginal file URL: https://www.figma.com/design/79KToD9v5xBJOW7AwSkhJV/Rego?node-id=10720-111353What happened? The file suddenly became inaccessible, even though I previously had full access and was working with it normally. When I try to open the original link, I get this error:“Unable to open file. It looks like there’s an issue with this Design file’s sharing settings. We’ve emailed the owner to let them know.”The situation is particularly concerning because: The file has disappeared from my Recents and the original project. The original file owner cannot find it either. Our company admin has checked the permissions, but the issue remains. Figma says it has emailed the owner about the sharing-settings issue. What I have tried Verified my access with

This should be off by default. I was not aware this crap was on. I did not and do not approve. F- for sneakiness.

Hi Figma Config Team,I was thrilled to have been selected to attend Config India 2026 in Bengaluru and was genuinely looking forward to being part of the event.Unfortunately, my flight from Mumbai was initially delayed and subsequently cancelled due to operational issues. My original itinerary included a connecting flight via Goa to Bengaluru, and despite trying to make alternative travel arrangements, I was unable to reach Bengaluru in time to attend the event.I am attaching a screenshot of the airline's WhatsApp communication for your reference. Please note that the screenshot mentions the Mumbai–Goa leg of my journey, as Goa was my transit point before Bengaluru. It was genuinely disappointing to miss an opportunity I was so excited about. I wanted to inform your team about these unforeseen circumstances and ask whether this unavoidable absence could affect my eligibility for future Config events.I would love to apply again and have the opportunity to attend a future edition.Thank yo

Hi Figma Forum,Our company’s Rego design file has suddenly become inaccessible and has disappeared from both Recents and its original project.File URL: https://www.figma.com/design/79KToD9v5xBJOW7AwSkhJV/RegoFile ID: 79KToD9v5xBJOW7AwSkhJVThe error message says there is an issue with the Design file’s sharing settings and that the owner has been notified by email.I previously had full access to this file, and our company admin has checked the permissions. However, the file is now missing from the file browser, and I cannot access it using the original link.Could you please investigate the file on your side and help us establish: Whether the original file still exists and where it is located. Whether it was deleted, moved, or affected by an ownership or sharing-permissions issue. Whether the original design file, including its pages, components, comments, and version history, can be restored. This file contains important company design work, so we would appreciate urgent assistance

Hi, As the title states, a bunch of work I did with a coworker has vanished from the file. It’s a completely blank canvas. When I go to version history, there are time stamps of a bunch of edits we made to the work, but they are all blank as well. How can I get this back? We tried to bring it up during a client call and couldn't show all of the work the client was expecting. Any help is appreciated. Let me know what I need to share.Thank you

Hi! My organization has limited the use of AI to just the protected environment Copilot 365 has to offer. I can use Copilot Studio, which provides Agents with ‘tools’ to access a range of MCP servers. Figma, sadly, is not one of them.If I attempt to add a custom MCP server for Figma to Copilot Studio, it fails on authentication. I’ve seen other posts on the forum about the issue as well. According to Copilot this issue is caused by Figma not allowing Copilot to authenticate. Since Microsoft has such a large audience using their apps, it would be great if Figma allowed Copilot 365 to also access to authenticate.Would it be possible for Figma to add/allow Copilot 365?Thanks!

I’ve raised some billing question through official support channel, got auto-reply from <support@figma.com>. So i replied with confirmation of organization and admin status. However, there is no further acknowledgement (e.g., auto ticket system reply) or official support reply. I later tried again, and always trigger the same first auto-reply. I’m now having doubt whether my request has actually routed to the correct place in your system. Can anyone from Figma confirm that at least my ticket has been received?

This is literally what I got from their chat! Totally contradictory statements!! First step tells me I wil loose my changes, I push back and it says ok there is a way fro save your changes?? Why wouldn't saving 3 days of work nbc the first priority? Fiogma you really need to make this a priority fix! I have seen old posts with this issue so it has been around for a long time!!! Loosing work is not acceptable, we are not in the 90s! That message appears when Figma has offline changes stored locally that haven't synced to the cloud yet. Since this has persisted for 3 days, clearing your cache will remove those offline changes and let you restart without the warning — but note that any unsaved offline changes will be lost and cannot be recovered .My reply"but note that any unsaved offline changes will be lost and cannot be recovered" This is not acceptable!Figma AI reply There's a way to preserve your changes before clearing anything. Figma stores offline changes locally for up to 30 days

People have been complaining about this for years. I have to add ® and ™ to strings of text in my artboards. The superscript version of the character must be the same size as the rest of the text string, or it will not be vertically aligned properly with the rest of the text. The ®™ symbols are much too large, especially in headlines, but if you reduce the font size of that character, it drops down too low and is no longer in the superscript position. In Sketch or any other proper app, you can adjust the baseline of the specific character (baseline shift) so that you can re-align it properly. You can EASILY accomplish this in CSS and create specific styling for the “sup” tag which handles this in code. Why is it nearly impossible to replicate what is easy in any other app in Figma? I’ve seen people complaining about this since 2018, so I take that as an assumption that Figma will never fix this issue? The only way to get a properly aligned and sized ® or ™ in a line of text is to creat

I am using Figma Design on desktop with the Education plan. In Dev Mode, under MCP, I only see the remote MCP option and do not see local MCP. I want confirmation on whether local MCP is available for Education users or if this is expected behavior.

When you try to add a web link to a figjam on the Figma iPad app, the paste function does not work. I have tried to long press to paste a link, but no options are visible. The only way to add a link is to type it manually… Can this be fixed asap?  I was able to use the link feature fine in the now retired FigJam app for iPad so this is extremely frustrating.
