Images that were previously visible in my files have disappeared. The original layers still exist and can be selected on the canvas. The Fill is still identified as an Image fill, but the image itself is missing and the image preview is blank.I also checked versions of the file from Version History where these images were previously visible, but the images are now missing from those historical versions as well. The layers themselves have not disappeared, only the image assets/fills appear to be missing. Is it possible for Figma Support to recover or restore the original image assets associated with these layers?

Hi Team,I just wanted to confirm how the name will appear on the Config India 2026 badge. I noticed that I’m unable to change my last name in the registration details, so I wanted to check whether the badge will display only my first name or my full name.I’m asking just to make sure my name doesn’t appear incorrectly or in an unusual format on the badge.Thank you!

I'm building a web app in Figma Make and trying to set a custom favicon. I've tried two approaches so far: Adding <link rel="icon"> tags directly to index.html — but a favicon diagnostic tool confirms these tags aren't appearing in the served HTML, suggesting Figma Make generates its own HTML wrapper that overrides index.html. Placing favicon files in the /public folder — the diagnostic tool confirms /public files ARE served (it found favicon.ico at the root), but I can only create text-based files through the Figma Make code editor, not upload binary .png or .ico files. Is there a supported way to upload a custom binary favicon (PNG or ICO) to a Figma Make project? Or is there a way to make custom <link> tags in index.html pass through to the served HTML? Any workarounds welcome. Thanks!

I’ve used the Favicon upload tool in settings, using a Frame with PNG image with a 1:1 aspect ratio.Favicon looks great on tabs and everywhere else it appears. However, it does not appear on the Google Search listing for the website. This has been over many weeks, different browsers, incognito, cookies cleared, etc.Code that Figma generates for this is the following:<link id="link-iij9jo" rel="icon" href="/_assets/v11/43bb95a5f25e066aa2f349f2b87202a12384e0d5.png">Am I missing anything?

You register, works all right, in fairness. However, impossible to find the unsub option. Ended up deleting my account in hopes to cancel my sub in hopes of not being charged. lost all my work and ended up being charged the day after. I then created the same account, same email, same details, and went back to an account with no plan, (free account) and somehow an active sub going on (that i cant find nor cancel)

Hi! I’m experiencing an issue with nested components placed inside a component slot. After triggering an interaction, some of the nested components visually reset to the default state defined in the design system. However, when I hover over them, they immediately return to the correct state they were supposed to display. In the attached video, the chips inside the drawer are configured with different labels and states. After closing and reopening the drawer, some of them appear with their default properties. As soon as I move the cursor over each chip, the correct label and state are restored. This appears to be a rendering issue, since the overrides are not actually lost and return without any additional interaction besides hovering.I’ve attached a screen recording showing the behavior. Has anyone experienced something similar or found a workaround?

I got a bit bored and created a fun plugin called Phantom Cursor. It simulates a “fake collaborator” experience, with multiple cursors flying around your canvas, pretending to interact with your designs like real team members. I’m just curious if this is something anyone would be interested in?. 😂

I have sign in with Google and my domain is expiring. I can't change the email because the password reset never sends an email to reset the password (i.e. create a password), so that I can then change the email address associated with the account.

Hello, I accidentally made a payment for my Figma subscription.Could you please cancel the subscription and issue a refund for the recent charge?Account email: [REMVOED]Payment date: Oct 5th 2026Amount charged: 36,67$Thank you.

I'm posting this on behalf of my colleague, whose Figma account has been suspended and therefore cannot access the Figma Support Forum.Their Figma account was suddenly suspended without any prior notice or explanation. They have already submitted Support Ticket #2176511 and contacted the Figma Content Review team. The suspended account is a personal account containing extremely important and irreplaceable UX and product design files. The files are private Drafts, have not been shared with collaborators, and there are no local backups. We would greatly appreciate it if someone from the Figma team could help review or escalate Support Ticket #2176511.The priority is to restore access to the account. If that is not possible, assistance recovering the personal design files would be greatly appreciated.Thank you very much for your help.

Dear Figma Support Team,I’m reaching out because one of my Figma design files has suddenly gone missing from my account, and I would like to request your assistance in recovering it.I did not delete or intentionally remove this file. I only noticed the issue just now when I tried to open the design file. I have checked both Figma through the website and the Figma app, but I’m unable to find or access the file. I also checked the Trash, but the file is not there. The details are as follows:Number of missing files: 1 File name: Club D'Elite Spa Plan: Free Owner: Same account Last accessed: Yesterday Issue: File is suddenly missing and cannot be found through Figma website or app. It is also not in the Trash. This file contains important project work, so I would really appreciate it if you could check whether the file can be recovered or restored from your end. Please let me know if you need any additional information, such as my account details, file link, screenshots, or any other informat

Every time I move or import a component from my Design System into another Figma file, it loses all of its interactions — including click, hover, pressed states, overlays, and other prototype interactions. The component itself, variants, and properties are still there, but the interactions are completely lost or stop working as expected.Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a specific Figma setting, Library configuration, or limitation that could cause prototype interactions to be lost when moving a component between files?I'd really appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to prevent this from happening.

I am facing an issue with split tabs. So this issue I have faced last time also and I am facing now also. When I select two different files. And right click on the tabs. Then click on the. Split tabs. It is splitting with the same file. Now for example. I have a. Project 1 file and project 2 file. I have selected project 1 and 2. And then I split it but it is splitting with project 1 and project 1. That is the issue.

It would be really nice if I could pop out the variables into their own window. Currently I can only have it as a dialogue in Figma, which means it always overlaps over my design and especially on smaller screens this becomes quite the issue. I often need to see variables and my design at the same time, so moving it to a second monitor (or even on a laptop quickly switching with alt + tab between the two) would be very helpful.

I was hired as a contractor at a school, and they are using the educator plan. Now I can’t work on their current file because I don’t have an education email.  Why is Figma so damn un-useable and have obstacle after obstacle for things that should be simple? How can I work on this educator plan as a regular user WITHOUT MAKING A NEW FILE?

Hi, Figma! I’m just here to suggest a simple split frame feature. It would be similar to the layout grid, but it would in effect create new frames inside a current frame. (It would be more useful than the grid for me).Frames could be split either horizontally or vertically and it would make creating tables super easy and other divided areas. Each frame with individual auto-layout if needed. This split function would split the frame into equal parts (columns or rows) and auto arrange them as individual frames inside the original frame. So if I create a frame and split it in 2, I end up with 2 smaller (equal size) frames inside the original frame. Just a suggestion. I love Figma. Thank you forever for creating it!Maricel

Dear Team,We had office holidays from October 2nd to 4th, 2025, and due to this we were unable to cancel the AI Credits in time. The cancellation was processed on October 5th, but during the holiday period AI Credits worth $120 (10,000 credits) were charged.Additionally, please note that the billing date for our Proclink Figma subscription is the 3rd of every month. We kindly request you to revise the bill on a pro‑rated basis and share the updated invoice with us.Thank you for your support.

1. Visual Clarity of Selection StateSelected state issue with suggested change. Issue: The current selected state for measurement annotations is barely visible (appearing as a faint, sub-pixel outline). Suggested Fix: Change the selection outline to blue when an annotation is selected, matching the existing visual behaviour of the ruler selection state.  2. Selection Persistence & Unintended ModificationsGIF showing selection issues. Issue: Clicking a new measurement annotation currently retains previous selections. This causes off-screen items to remain active, leading to accidental moves or deletions. Expected Behaviour: Single-clicking any measurement annotation should clear all previous selections by default. Multi-selection should only occur intentionally when holding Shift or Cmd / Ctrl while clicking. Similar thread found here (Closed):

Playback behavior can’t be controlled from the component. There is currently no way to configure an animation to play only once and remain on its final keyframe instead of looping or resetting. The playback duration of an animated component nested inside another frame depends on the parent’s timeline. If another animation within the parent frame has a longer duration, the nested component must wait until the parent’s entire animation cycle is complete before it can play again. This makes it impossible for nested animations to run independently. Some possible solutions 🤗 ✅   Allow loop behavior to be configured at the component level. Add options such as Play once, Loop, and Stay on the last keyframe so the playback behavior can be controlled independently for each animated component. Decouple nested component timelines from their parent timeline. Allow animated components inside other frames to run on their own playback cycle, regardless of the parent’s duration, so each animation

With the new update, we have a great new feature, but unfortunately, it’s not usable with our component structure. Exposing all props of a nested instance also exposes props that we don’t want in the context of the consuming component. What if we could also select which properties to expose? This would lead to a cleaner sidebar with only valid props.

Colored tokens are correctly displayed in the Figma preview of Lotties, but this is not yet the case when exporting to .lottie, which requires two exports, increases file size, and necessitates mapping on the developer’s end.We would like to be able to manage this mode directly within a single asset.

Hey wonderful people at Figma, I love the new variables, absolutely love love them! Here’s just an idea, but when adding a numerical value variable, I wish I could include only “Paddings” as the supported property. Right now when I want to save paddings I have to use “gap (auto-layout)”. While usually these properties are the same value and I can see the though behind not separating them, I do want to play around with them and would like them to be separate, especially when changing modes for device sizes. Additionally, I’m not gonna start a new thread and I’ve already upvoted the ones I’ve seen, but I would also really like if I could use prototype interactions to change between modes. Thanks and have a lovely day!
