Split Tab not working

I am facing an issue with split tabs. So this issue I have faced last time also and I am facing now also. When I select two different files. And right click on the tabs. Then click on the. Split tabs. It is splitting with the same file. Now for example. I have a. Project 1 file and project 2 file. I have selected project 1 and 2. And then I split it but it is splitting with project 1 and project 1. That is the issue.

Hey ​@Arun P Kumar, thanks for reaching out!

To narrow down what's happening, could you try these steps and let me know what you see?

  1. Check you're on the latest version of the desktop app, and close any other Figma windows for now.
  2. Make sure Project 1 and Project 2 each have their own tab.
  3. Click and drag the Project 2 tab to the left or right side of the canvas. A blue highlight shows where it will snap.
  4. To exit the split, right-click either tab and select Separate tabs.

If you still see the same file on both sides, could you tell me which tab you right-click, plus your operating system and desktop app version? You can also submit a bug report through the Support hub so we can look into it properly.
