How to hug row’s height or hug frame’s height in Grid? I see it is possible to make it hug as default, but I can’t find it nowhere.
Currently you are able to add up to nine screenshots for your published community file. I would like to upload a video to this area. Apparently you can do this for plugins, so I would like the feature for community files as well.
Hello Figma fam! I created my first mock up design and please offer any feedback. The app is the first iteration to solve a big huge problem in our society; pain. The mascot is supposed to be a neutral character from Greek mythology Aceso who is the goddess of healing. The user will speak to a customer AI system which will then develop an exercise routine and can have follow ups with point reward and community sharing.

Are they considered the same organization, the same Team? Because i added the accounts duyhan.vuong@stengg.com, ngocanhthu.thach@stengg.com, lamgiang.phan@stengg.com to Hazel.doan@stengg.com Team and were charged for the added accounts? I love the MCP project but am having a really hard time getting good results from it, every time I asking Claude Code or Cursor to style my UI component like the provided link it’d not even close, it was 85%-90% wrong, sometimes really wrong. Making it mostly unusable. Lots of experience with LLM coding, I know what I’m asking for it with-in their capability. I also recently tried Figma Make where I imported the exact some component, using the exact same prompt and it completely nailed. Figma Make using Claude Sonnet got all the colors right, the fonts sizes, added the exact stroke and rounded corners, it even added roll-over state and correctly guessed my design intent, really amazing! But when I do the same with Claude Code and Figma MCP but it completely fails, adding styles to the wrong components, getting all the fonts wrong, colors are all over the place, etc. I have some theories as to why but would love some feedback and help Theories 1. I’ve been using Figma Make to ideate, and sometimes I get frustrated and end up swearing at the AI. I know that’s silly, but when I did, it said I violated a policy and rejected my request. The issue is that even after I stopped swearing, I still get the same error message: “Please try a different input.” I tried waiting a few hours, but the problem didn’t go away. I even duplicated the file, but the duplicate has the same problem. I can’t use that Figma Make file at all anymore, even if I restore earlier versions and try working on them. What’s going on here? The AI already struggles with following instructions, and now I can’t even interact with it.
Hey Community, Using ComponentNode.key and ComponentNode.remote (boolean), I can detect remote components and import them via figma.importComponentByKeyAsync(). However, there’s no API to get the original source file name or library name of a remote component. Would it be possible to expose the component’s source filename or published library name in the Plugin API? This would help plugins display component origin info like the Figma UI does.
Is there a technical problem with figma make recently?i have been working in a project for the past month, i took a break for 4 days and continued working today and suddenly I can not create any new figma make objects on Figma sites anymore (using previously designed Figma Design components). I thought first that my components are too complicated, i stripped down the design into a basic element, literally some text in few different variants, but after the element is created, and i give the first command, the figma make element is deleted on its own and return to the original design. Any know technical issues or it is just my project getting too heavy?
In other words a way to branch to/from a Community file Hi everyone, I publish a design system (DS) to the Community and have frequent updates to fix issues and add/update components. Community members duplicate this DS to their Organizational account to use in their own projects. They have reported to me that once they import the Figma file into their org and use it as a library they have no way of getting my latest updates easily and without breaking changes into their production design files that refer to the original “duplicated” file. So it would be great if there was a way to publish “get latest” or “subscribe to changes” in a community file. (Instead of having to restart design file from scratch in the latest version of the Design System). Librairies features are not an option as they are specific to an ORG and cannot be accessed through the community. And Swapping in this use case does not work well at all. This would be great for everyone as it would allow Figma to always ship
Today I noticed that when I try to apply variable modes to page / artboard / layer using Figma on web they won’t apply. I select the option and nothing happens. I use this feature frequently, and it’s working in the desktop app, so it seems like this is a new problem. Anyone else experiencing?
Currently, only Preview and Code edit modes are visible. Are additional editing modes accessible?
The client has shared a file with me and given me “can edit” rights, but I cant edit. I am getting this error “An Admin needs to update your seat so you can edit file”. Any ideas? Thanks
