Currently you are able to add up to nine screenshots for your published community file. I would like to upload a video to this area. Apparently you can do this for plugins, so I would like the feature for community files as well.

Hiya! Thanks for the feedback @Dave_Whitley - a couple of suggestions that may help:

  • You can include a GIF as a preview—it’ll autoplay and is a great way to show quick interactions. This sounds like it may be a good fit for you if you just want to quick preview like Rogie did.

  • You can also add a link to a video (like YouTube or Loom) in the description. While it won’t embed or autoplay, folks can click through to watch (recommended if you want to have a larger-scale demo).

I know that there have been some similar requests in the past, so I’ll file yours internally as well.

Is there a file size limit to the gif? I can’t seem to upload mine.

Oh! @Dave_Whitley - I checked in on this, and it looks like the limit is 5MB.

Let me know if your your gif is less than that, and you still have trouble.

Thanks! I have a gif that is 4.9 MB and it’s not letting me upload it. It’s grayed out and disabled and I can’t drag and drop it.
