I’ve been using Figma Make to ideate, and sometimes I get frustrated and end up swearing at the AI. I know that’s silly, but when I did, it said I violated a policy and rejected my request. The issue is that even after I stopped swearing, I still get the same error message: “Please try a different input.”

I tried waiting a few hours, but the problem didn’t go away. I even duplicated the file, but the duplicate has the same problem. I can’t use that Figma Make file at all anymore, even if I restore earlier versions and try working on them.

What’s going on here? The AI already struggles with following instructions, and now I can’t even interact with it.

Hi @James Herman,

I understand you're still seeing the message “Please try a different input.” even after trying the troubleshooting steps shared here: Troubleshoot in Figma Make

I’m checking with our team to see if there’s any workaround or additional guidance we can provide. I’ll follow up as soon as I hear back.

Thanks for your patience!

Hi @James Herman,

I checked internally, and it looks like there’s no self-serve workaround available for this issue at the moment.

I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket on your behalf so that our Technical Quality team can take a closer look. You should receive an email shortly with your ticket confirmation. It will be sent to the email address associated with your Figma account.

To help our team take the necessary actions, please prepare the following:

  1. Duplicate the Figma Make file where you're seeing the issue (see this Help Center article if needed)

  2. Share the duplicated file with edit access to support-share@figma.com (this won’t impact your billing)

  3. Reply to the ticket confirmation email (not here in the Forum) with the URL of the duplicated file

Thanks,

I’ve been experiencing the same problem since last month. At first, I thought it was because I had no prompts left, but the issue came up again this month. I even tried creating mulitple new files, but the problem still occurs.

Hi @Luke0123,

Thanks for letting us know you're also experiencing this issue.

I’ve created a support ticket(#1486482) on your behalf using the details you provided, including the screenshot. You should receive an email shortly with your ticket confirmation, which will be sent to the email address associated with your Figma account.

Please reply to that email with the URL of your Figma Make file and make sure that edit access is granted to support-share@figma.com . This will not impact your billing and will help our team take a closer look.

For other community members, if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue, please feel free to submit a report using this secure form: Submit a request.
In the form, be sure to include the URL of your Figma Make file and grant edit access to support-share@figma.com so our team can investigate further.

Thanks,

Hi @Junko3,

I am having the same issue as well and I have already submitted a support ticket (support ticket 1515790) - there should be another support ticket which did not send me a ticket number.

We need this working ASAP.
