I’d love to be able to copy and paste conditionals/variables statements, this would save time and errors. For example, I used a similar if statement multiple times and just needed to change 1 or 2 variables and numbers. But to do so, I had to re-write the statements every time.
I’m seeing “An error occurred while copying this file” when I attempt to duplicate a version from the history of a merged branch - see attached. Is this not doable?
We have users having issues with Design links disappearing after a refresh. It shows the design is there, but once they refresh or leave page and come back, they are gone. I have tried linking myself and have the same issue. Not sure if anyone has had experienced this before. We also contacted Atlassian support and they pointed us here.
When you copy and paste a object if there is no available room to the right then the new object should be pasted underneath instead of being pasted in the next available free space to the right where there aren’t any objects
Hello, I encounter a problem with a certain file.Some random square/rectangles/shadows appear on it but only for me (the other user on the file don’t see it), even when I’m connected on the owner acc.Also, the shadows change places when i zoom/dezoom I can’t find a solution or understand where its from
I spent hours choosing fonts in my Figma Design file, only to move to Figma Sites where I can’t use my custom fonts. It’s so confusing because the custom fonts work great in Design and even look good in Sites when you are building (why is it supported in the design part of Sites at all if it isn’t an available feature? That’s misleading). It’s only when I started previewing my work in Sites that I started to catch on that there was an issue. Frustrated and considering moving to a different program because of this. Anyone else running into this issue?
As many users have reported and requested, please kindly add support for custom fonts in Figma Sites. I often use Google and Adobe Fonts with common fonts, but cannot see the correct results. This is an essential feature. Please kindly update this soon. 🙏🏼🌊
Hello! I have heard that you are about to update your bootcamp verification process starting September 23th. Starting September 23, self-verification of bootcamps will no longer be available, and an administrator will need to confirm the bootcamp and then grant access to students and instructors. I have the following questions: 1. If my company uses Figma as an online course rather than a bootcamp, do these updates apply to me? 2. Where can I find more detailed information, namely which organizations will be granted access, how the student and teacher confirmation process will work, and other details? Thank you in advance!
Hi all. I have a couple of frames that have placed image in. I want to export as .svg format. I can see the image in the preview and on the preview of the .svg. But when I open the .svg in adobe illustrator the image isnt there and just should a blank box… Any ideas? It worked fine in sketch before.
I’m trying to build a prototype where a number will change based on some randomization. The idea is I have my Total number variable, and my Modifier number variable which are added together to update the Total. I’d love for the Modifier number variable to pull randomly from a list. It seems the best way to do this is to use a randomizer plugin that updates a text field from a list, but then I can’t figure out how to get the Modifier variable in my variable settings to use that number. Also open to totally different ways to solve / try this if it gets to the same result of having a base value that can be randomized within certain parameters. Thanks so much!
My device is Mac mini m2. 8 GB, 256 GB. When I use Figma, &zoom in, zoom out, or do something, my screen goes back. RAM is 2 GB, and storage is 80 GB empty. What is the problem?
I am using the figma mcp’s get_image config for the image is as follows when i click on a node and select copy as png the image is clear crisp but when i use mcp to export the image its blurry and not so great
Hi all, I am creating a symbol language with vector graphics of various irregular shapes, set into diamond-shaped frames. Question 1: What is the best way to regularize the sizing of these graphics? As you can see, I can’t really set a regular height or width, as the shapes take all different forms, and some are wider while others are taller. What you see above is eyeballed, but as I’m aiming to get these printed (like a deck) I really want to do best practices here and figure out a more accurate method. Question 2: Once that question is answered, the question of spacing comes up. For the above, that’s relatively easy if you want to set them centered, but if two (or more) symbols are on a diamond, then their shapes again are irregular and therefore center-snapping doesn’t work.
