Hello!

I have heard that you are about to update your bootcamp verification process starting September 23th. 
 

Starting September 23, self-verification of bootcamps will no longer be available, and an administrator will need to confirm the bootcamp and then grant access to students and instructors.

 

I have the following questions:

1. If my company uses Figma as an online course rather than a bootcamp, do these updates apply to me?

 

2. Where can I find more detailed information, namely which organizations will be granted access, how the student and teacher confirmation process will work, and other details?

We've run Figma Design Challenge 🇸🇬 for 800 students for 35+ schools

 

So far we've been getting our trainers verified under edu bootcamp, so we received this email about changes to the Figma Education plans.


Should we change how they get verified?

I'm the Track Lead of the UX/UI department at both Spiced Academy and Neue Fische. 

Following the conversation about the self-verification, this change will have an impact on our bootcamp and we would like to avoid any downtime on our side or our students.
I’ve sent an email to the email you provided but I did not yet have a response.

I would love to give you all the info necessary to accelerate this process, could you please let me know what's needed from our side? and if there is any extra process I should follow?

Hey ​@GaborGaya - apologies for the delay in response! I had been away for the week. I’m also sorry that you didn’t receive a response in between our messages. I’m not quite sure what may have happened, but with the new changes, I’d recommend running through our new process.


Regarding the changes to bootcamp changes specifically: verification is managed by your Bootcamp Admin. It sounds like this would be you based on your role -- If this is the case, you’ll now need to reach out bootcamps@figma.com. They will need to address your Bootcamp Admin questions directly.
