I recieved a mail from Figma that explains me that my education plan has expired. As I’m still a student until december, I suscribed again to the education plan and it works ! But I no longer have access to my student projects. Can someone help me with this ?
I noticed in the figma playground files, the layers have preview thumbnails that help distinguish layer type such as section and show contents within frames...I am wondering how this is done to add to my own files?

I'm thinking about building my portfolio using Figma Sites, but before I start, I wanted to ask: does Figma allow you to password-protect specific pages or projects? I’d like to make some sections private or only accessible to certain people.
I am trying to use the plugin ‘Magician’ in Figma, but when I do, it asks for an access code. However, when I click ‘Start Free Trial,’ it just loops back to Figma. What am I missing?
Hi, I'm experiencing severe lags when selecting objects and moving them. And light lags in the layers panel. I checked both in the browser and in the app. The system is fresh and all drivers are installed. Hi! I wish that when I copy a stroke, the stroke retains its individual stroke-position when pasted. Right now, if I copy a stroke it will paste as an “all stroke” even if the original only applied to one side. Further, I wish it was possible to select multiple individual strokes for one object, such that I could have different weights and colors for each side. I am unaware if these suggestions have been made previously, but I wanted to mention them anyways! Thanks!
Why on earth did you remove the community tab? Now, not only is the button back in its old spot at the bottom of the page, but there's also the issue that when browsing the community and clicking on a file, the tab closes — meaning you have to open it again and start from scratch. Really frustrating.

So, I feel like making something that’s not text (like for example, a vector shape) look like it’s italic. Like, is it even possible?
I stare at it, looking for the option I want before finding it. Here is what throws me off. For reference, there are the five rows of controls presented: Here’s what’s confusing to me. In row 2, the left-most button switches modes (auto, freeform), but it’s *inside* the mode that is set by row 1, confusingly in the same row as the mode modifiers. Also, the icon for this button is meaningless to me. Rows 2 and 4 four directly affect each other, yet they are separated by W/H. Rows 3 and 5 directly affect each other, yet they are separated by layout origin/spacing. BTW I love the layout of row 4! It’s just feels like it’s in the wrong place. This would make so much more sense (to me)
Hi Figma Team, I encountered an issue while working on my design. I applied a gradient to the stroke of an element, which rendered perfectly in Figma. However, when I tried to publish the design to a live site, I received an error stating that "gradient stroke is not possible." This was quite surprising, as applying gradients to strokes is a fairly basic and common design requirement. It enhances visual richness and is supported in many modern design tools. Could you please help me understand why Figma doesn't support exporting gradient strokes, Is there a workaround or any upcoming update planned to support this functionality? Looking forward to your clarification.
