I don’t use Figma all the time, I don’t want it to run anything on startup. It’s frustrating to manually remove Figma from Login Items, since it automatically adds itself there again. It would be nice to have at least an option to disable it in settings, or even better - remove that functionality at all, since it’s not user friendly. I want control over what and when the apps do at my workstation. P.S. If it’s needed for updates check - I’m more than okay to update on app start
This makes it easier to use components in designs for different screen sizes. And then you don’t have to calculate every time what 40% or 60% of the width is. This also makes it easier to design scalable applications that grow with the width of the screen.
I’m using AI image generation in beta and today I suddenly got rate limit exceeded. I tried Can I not use this anymore? Or will it reset the next day? I don’t know Has anyone else had the same experience?
Hey everyone! After years of designing and building complex products (especially in cybersecurity and B2B SaaS), our team at Good Code decided to distill everything we've learned into a clean, flexible, and extensible Figma Design System. We’re calling it Unify — and it’s live today:👉 https://unifydesignsystem.com Why we built it: We’ve worked on nearly 50 different platforms and noticed the same design challenges come up over and over — inconsistent components, limited theming support, bloated libraries, etc. Unify is our answer: a system that stays out of your way but gives you everything you need to ship fast and beautifully. What’s included: Light & dark mode out of the box 14+ ready-to-use templates (dashboards, forms, modals, settings, etc.) Tokenized system for effortless theming Smart layout and auto layout support Designed to scale with real teams We’d love for the Figma community to take a look and give us feedback. What’s working? What’s missing? What would help you and you
With the new update, we have a great new feature, but unfortunately, it’s not usable with our component structure. Exposing all props of a nested instance also exposes props that we don’t want in the context of the consuming component. What if we could also select which properties to expose? This would lead to a cleaner sidebar with only valid props.
I have 4 full seats that we’ve been paying for. 3 need only dev mode access. When trying to downgrade the users, it says I will be billed additionally for the 3 users I need to downgrade. I don’t want additional 3 additional dev seats, I want 1 full and 3 dev. How do I do this? I keep getting prompted that each change will be an addition, not a change???
I’m unable to activate or access the AI features. I’ve checked for updates and tried basic troubleshooting steps, but the feature still doesn’t appear to be available for me. Could you please help me resolve this issue or let me know if there are any requirements I might be missing? Thank you in advance for your support!
ngl, the new ui3 is pretty good. the only thing i dont like is the toolbar position. im still not used to it. maybe add an option to move it to the top?
I noticed within the official Apple iOS 18 library that “examples” is prioritised and placed at the top of the list including a divider. Does anyone know how this can be achieved?
Description: Currently, Figma allows switching between different Modes (e.g., Light/Dark) within a single variable collection. However, there is no built-in functionality to switch between entire Variable Collections dynamically. This limitation makes it challenging to manage multiple themes efficiently, especially in large-scale design systems where different themes (e.g., Default, Gaming, Minimal, Custom) share a common structure but require separate sets of values. Proposed Feature: Collection Switching We propose adding an option that allows users to switch entire Variable Collections in the same way they can switch Modes. This would enable designers to define multiple themes and toggle between them seamlessly without needing to manually update Aliases or duplicate components. How It Would Work: Collection Selector: Similar to the Mode switcher, users can select a Collection (e.g., Theme 1, Theme 2, Custom Theme) from a dropdown in the Variables panel. Automatic Updates: When switc
I can’t use the desktop app. it’s completely disable view and Figma can’t loading.
Can anyone suggest me
Hello, A year ago, we paid for seats through my partner’s account. However, she no longer works with us. While she was on vacation, Figma renewed the subscription for another year. We can't manage our seats now, and we need to transfer the paid seats from her account to mine. All seats were paid with my VISA card — Aleksei Ilin. I’m unable to contact support directly because we have a standard account. Has anyone had a similar situation with a positive outcome?
We want to use it to link design variables to the design tokens in our application. Our company runs on a Professional plan. There are only 10 users that need access, so we don’t have any need to go to an Organization or Enterprise. I saw the same question here, but it wasn’t answered and just pointed to the Plugin API which has an entirely different use case.
UPDATE: It looks like it has to do with the stroke on the component. When I removed the stroke the component properly rendered. When viewing my prototype and setting it to be responsive, components that are set to fill are not filling correctly. Content on the component will move but the background does not move. This was working just fine last week. This is how the screen looks before making it responsive This is how the screen looks after making it responsive As you can see, the actions in the top header move as they should, but the background does not move.
Hello! I’ve tried to find a related topic for this with no luck. Our team is experiencing a bug that is becoming more frequent recently and impacting our dev handover. When opening a file some elements appear to be missing until you click or engage with them and they suddenly reappear. We thought it may be that Figma needed updating or restarting but it’s quite persistent. Is anyone else experiencing this?
When I copy and paste stuff the pasting places elements in the most random locations. This used to be one of the best features figma had, flawless positioning on paste. It is quite sad that this feature broke and time gets invested in those pal characters.
