I can confirm that the problem still exists.

The image quality when exporting is very low… 😐. Take a print and you will have a greater quality.

Commenting to bump this, as this issue seems to be completly ignored by Figma for years

Hey there – thanks for jumping in and sharing your thought! I totally get how frustrating this can feel, especially when it seems like the issue hasn’t moved forward.

Just to share a bit of context, if you haven’t seen my previous message— this behavior is linked to browser memory limits, which can impact large exports and cause things like pixelation or cutoffs. Since this is a browser-side limitation, it’s not something Figma can directly control at this time. However, exporting your work in smaller chunks or breaking up the file can help avoid this.

There are also a few tips that might help improve the quality of your exports:

  • Try exporting at 2x, 3x, or even 4x for clearer results — 4x often gives the sharpest image

  • Keep in mind that SVG and PNG formats don’t compress images like JPEG does, which can impact how crisp the image appears

  • If an image has been scaled inside Figma, it might look fine in the editor but appear blurry once exported — resizing it to its original dimensions before exporting can help

If the issue is still persisting, feel free to reach out to our support team through this form. They can take a closer look at your file (or the asset you try to export) and help us understand what’s happening in your specific case.

Thanks again for taking the time to flag this 🙏
