This suddenly started about 24 hours ago and has not abated. See gif. Checking/unchecking scope boxes, adding/moving/removing variables, all of this suddenly has like 4 seconds of lag per action. It suddenly started, there was no slow onset. Everything was zippy until yesterday. I can’t work like this, the lag adds up when I’m working in here all day. Please advise.
I can’t seem to find a way to turn off the red measurement tool. If I go to View > Hide UI it does remove it, but it also removes other side navigation components that I need available.
The future of artificial intelligence (AI) hinges not just on smarter models and better data but also on infrastructure capable of handling its complexity. The demand for AI-specific compute environments has surged alongside the growing sophistication of large language models, autonomous agents, and decentralized AI applications. In this context, SKALE AI is pioneering a unique path forward by leveraging app-specific chains to power AI workloads. Unlike generic blockchains that aim for one-size-fits-all solutions, SKALE AI embraces a modular, scalable design that assigns dedicated chains to individual applications. This architecture isn't just a matter of preference—it’s a necessity born from the requirements of modern AI workloads. The Challenge of Scaling AI on Traditional Blockchains To understand the benefits of SKALE AI's approach, it’s helpful to first examine why AI struggles on traditional blockchain networks. Conventional blockchains like Ethereum were not designed with AI in
Coming from Sketch sharing is pretty simple and straightforward but I got charged sharing from Figma and trying to avoid that again. Can I share any file as view only and not have to worry about getting charged? And in View only can they use the inspect view?
Looking for some simple updates which would make using variables much more comfortable. We have a simple library, but with colors copied over multiple uses, states, etc. we have to scroll through this very small window in order to pick from ~50 colors. This is not even counting other sets of colors we use for graphs, charting, other things. Moreover, this is only true outside of the design system - In other files, I can control visibility by collection or based on type (fill vs stroke vs text, etc.). In the system file you just see it all - and especially since the hidden collections are visible, it’s a nightmare to scroll through this list. Basically you *must* be intimately familiar with naming conventions for variables in order to find them at all - otherwise any dive into the variable list is 30 seconds of honing in on the right thing. Currently there’s a dropdown for filtering by library - Can we get a filter by collection? Default collection?Maybe expand/collapse groups? Maybe
I have been playing around with creating variables but realized I would rather have groups in separate collections, but cannot move them. I would like to be able to duplicate an entire collection so I don’t have to manually re-create values and can remove what I don’t need from that collection OR simply be able to move groups into other collections.
My Figma site is no longer loading. I’ve got this error message.
In the Figma Android app, the standard back-swipe gesture (swiping from the left edge of the screen) does not navigate to the previous frame (or page) but instead closes the prototype entirely. On Android, the back-swipe is a very common and intuitive way to navigate back. This is a problem in user tests, since users may instinctively use the gesture to navigate and accidentally close the prototype. In browsers the back function works as expected.
We just wrapped the big announcements at Config , and we know there’s a lot to take in. This thread is your space to share reactions, ask questions, and let us know what you're excited about (or still curious about) with regard to Figma Sites. Our team will be actively reading and sharing relevant takeaways with the product team. What we’d love to hear from you: What aspects are you most excited about — and why? Where do you still have questions or want more clarity? Anything that didn’t quite land for you yet? A few quick reminders: If you need help with a specific account or file issue, please get in touch with a specialist on the Support Team. Previous highly conveinient way to resize an element into grid increments (multiple of 8 for instance), is to click and drag on the “W” and “H” of the dimension settings, while holding shift. This is not possible anymore?
I was going to praise how neat the new Annotation feature is, when I realized the content is only visible to Dev Mode accounts. Are you serious? I understand you want to limit creating annotations to certain seat types, but viewing annotations should be a viewer-level feature. Come on Figma, there are better ways to convince your users to pay for a subscription. This is such a crooked move.
I saw this topic but seems the most recent is still a year old. I tried everything mentioned yet when I’m in design mode and show presentation then copy the link and try it ina browser I;m not logged into, I sitll see the force account gate. I tried this on both desktop app and browser. No dice. Please advise.
Hello! I’ve been noticing a surge of bugs with the latest release. Opening files within a project is not always responsive (Figma Home) Selecting a Project Folder from the sidebar has occasionally been non-responsive The back/forward navigation buttons are currently non-responsive (Figma Home) Keyboard shortcuts like CMD+scroll to zoom often get locked when not pressing cmd (not a keyboard issue – I’ve tested this with other keyboards) Figma sites-specific issues: Adding a “Block” only shows embedded html, audio, or videos – pages, navigation, heroes, and features are all hidden for an unknown reason, and only re-surfaces when I’ve force closed Figma, the project file, and re-opened it again. Prototype does not display proper fonts, even after confirming the font chosen is a Google Font and not custom. In my specific case, I use Bricolage Grotesque. Automatic multi-text editor, when selecting the primary breakpoint, often does not update smaller breakpoints. I typically have to edit it
The lack of bulk downloading for backups is frustrating. This should be an available feature (even if a download link is sent separately for many files). The lack of bulk download paired with CAPTCHA confirmations every 4 minutes is exhausting to do.
