hi, im encountering condition where my file in figma make get warning of high memory usage, and it seems not because the amount of code that generated, i think it’s the cause is the chat is to heavy. any idea why this is happening?if the chat is the cause, i think add a chat deletion feature will be helpful, thanks

I’ve just cancelled my Professional plan as I’m not using it enough to justify the cost. My monthly subscription is listed as renewing on January 16, 2026, so I would expect access to my files to be terminated at that point and would not expect any further charges. However, when I cancelled, there was a notification stating that the subscription renews in June 2026. Could you please confirm that there will not be any further charges going forward as I do not want the Professional plan from the end of this month’s billing period.Many thanks, Paul

I cannot publish site via Figma Make, every single times when i click on Publish, it was always showed a red notification “something went wrong...” Even i reseted a file and wait for 24 hours to click Publish again

Hi,Many of my students from ROC Nijmegen, Mediadesign are not getting approval for their Figma Education (student) accounts.As a teacher, my own Education account was approved without any issues. Extended collections work very well in simple scenarios like having multiple brands with light an dark mode. But there is more than brand specific colors.Requirement:We want to be able to define brand specific font sizes for desktop and mobile devices. In order to do so we have to introduce an additional “device” collection with a “desktop” and “mobile” mode. Then we connect the extended collection (aka the brand collection) with the device collection.Now we can easily switch between brands + devices and the font size changes accordingly.Problem:But when the brand specific font sizes are changed in the variable view, the designs do not automatically update. You have to select the layers, switch modes manually back and forth and only then the variable changes are visible. This means everything is connected correctly, but the automatic update of the layers does not work properly, which makes extended collections unusable in case you want to have more than brand colors with light and dark

I have a Design file which has a bunch of Pages and a load of Variables. The file contains components, some component variants have variables set including Conditions.When I duplicate a the file (This has happened with a few files over a period of months), some of the component variant variables, do not duplicate.Some Variables are missing completely.Some conditional variables are only half duplicated.Navigate to variables are 50/50 when page is duplicated.

Hello,One of my colleagues creates mockups in Figma. She has a company email address (mail@company.com) and shared the file link with me.When I click the link, I request access. I receive an email confirming that my access request has been approved, and I can then navigate the mockup without any issue.However, sometimes, suddenly, I receive a red notification in Figma saying something like “You don’t have access to this file”, and I am forced to request access again.I don’t know which Figma subscription plan we are on (if any), so I’m wondering if this behavior could be related to plan or permission limitations.Thank you for your help,Best regards.

Hey Figma team,I wanted to report a problem that’s been bugging our team for the past few months. We have an Icon Library in our design system, as well as a separate glyph library. These icons are used in different sizes across the product (16px, 24px, etc.). The master components of each icon and glyph contain elements which are all set to ‘scale’.However, within our larger components, whenever we want to swap an instance of an icon with a different one from our library, the scaling (of dimensions, stroke width, and border radius) is not properly applied, resulting in a broken view. One example is:We have a nested icon component scaled to 16x16px; We replace the instance with another icon from either library (original component of which is 24x24 but all elements set to scale) and expect it to scale properly to the 16x16 dimensions. However, the swapped icon appears broken in terms of the scale of elements inside, stroke width and border radius; We have to resort to a workaround like:

I tried to uninstall and clear all the files in file manager and reinstalled it again but still it's not opening I tried All the method listed below : 1. Clear Figma cache2. Just created a pitch deck using the AI feature and trying to export but it only lets me do File>Local Copy to a .make file. I don’t see any Menu Bar either for the Export function.

 I have submitted K-12 education EDU verification several time with no response. I did this immediately when I was first notified and also 2 more times over several months and I have received no response. Hello, I'm reporting a persistent bug in Figma.Issue: Unable to publish prototype updates via the Preview tab. Error Message: 'Something went wrong, reload and try again' (in red). Start Time: Dec 15, 2025 - 5:20 PM.Troubleshooting steps I've already taken: Refreshed the page; Switched browsers and used Incognito mode; Restarted both the app and the computer; Duplicated the file and attempted to publish (the error happens in the new file as well). Please let me know if you need any logs.

Hello, I am currently facing an issue with publishing the updates in Figma make.I have updated my page and changed some codes. All of a sudden, I started to see an error message, “"Something went wrong.” when I tried to publish the changes.I’vetried to refresh the page, remove all cache, use the incognito mode, use different browsers, update browsers and Windows. However, all didn’t work. Can you help me to fix this issue?  

Hi Figma,Related to this closed bug topic:I have a library (with mostly buttons) used by a Figma Sites page. When I make changes in the buttons (color, type size, etc), the changes update the instances as expected -EXCEPTING SIZE. The buttons have fixed height, and no matter what I do, changes in this fixed height won’t update. Inserting a NEW button instance will carry the updated height, but the instances won’t change at all.Need a fix please.

I’m having an issue in Figma Sites where I’ve made a custom nav bar with figma make and it works as I intended except for the fact that I can’t actually link to the pages on my site. I only have three buttons “Work”, “About”, & “Contact” and I’d like to functionality to work like so.When the "Work" button is pressed it automatically goes to the page titled "Home". When the "About" button is clicked it automatically goes to the page titled "/about" When the "Contact" button is clicked it automatically scrolls to the component labeled "Footer 1"I’ve had mixed success with the first and last item. Essentially it defaults to the “scroll-to” interaction but only works on the desktop portion of my Home page. When the About button is clicked I either get a black screen or a “Not Found Error Page”. If anyone has insights on how I might achieve what I’m looking for I’d really appreciate it! The base code for the nav bar without the above linking interactions is attached. 

I canceled my subscription one month ago. This is confirmed by Figmas UI showing me that I'm on the Free plan. Nevertheless I had a charge of 5,95€ on my credit card today. What is happening here and why even 5,95€ i was on the 17,85€ plan before.

When applying text styles that have associated variables attached the values presented do not respect the applied mode. For instance I have a title that has a mode for Mobile (20px), and a mode for TV (40px), when i open up the style, the default mode (in this case mobile) is displayed instead of the TV mode size. I have also observed this within grid layouts when applied it shows the default mode (26 columns). When in reality it is actually 24 columns, if you then detach the style it shows the correct number. And when detached you can see it shows the correct value Seems this was a major oversight, as it makes applying size variables pretty time consuming, as I have to check if I’ve chosen the correct size by clicking and opening up the variable list. In short it seems to default to the first default mode, instead of respecting the chosen mode. It also only seems to affect styles. Anyone else found this to be an issue?
