Hello! Today I accidentally deleted some elements from my space, but Figma has only versions which were created more than 30 days ago. I don’t understand why figma didn't do the backup version of my space before I did my delete, and now I can’t restore deleted elements from cmd+z and can’t restore my previous version because of the free account.Maybe I can restore my previous version from the support ticket?

Hello. I am making a app and found a problem I don’t know have to fix. Let say I scroll down on page 1 and navigate the other pages (by clicking navigation at the bottom), I start at the bottom of that page. So where I am at Page 1 is where I will start on the next page. Anyone who knows the fix for this?

I am new to Figma and designing an app screens, but the problem i am stuck at is if i have to change my screen size then b=my buttons logo and all changes according to the way i want. But the text size which should increase or decrease doesn’t change but just its boundary box increases or decreases as the screen size is changed

why did the new update change the shortcut key. I used to use ctrl/cmd shift G to ungroup but I couldn’t do it and after I did the manual by right clicking, I saw it changed to cmd delete. why did you change the user behavior like that. I use sketch to work and also use that shortcut key and I used Figma before. The change makes me feel unfamiliar

We have a main project that we have fully licensed and have been adding people too, under that we created a new project to keep some things separate, however it’s come as “free” and I have paid for 15 people in the previous one to have full access, seems mental to need to recharged all these people again just for another project? Is this the only way?

Hello y’all! I’ve been experiencing a weird issue with downloaded icons. I’m using iconic’s free set, but some of them have weird joint vectors when I set the outline. It looks as if 2 vectors were merged or close to each other, but when I look closer, I see no error? So I’m confused on how to fix it: Has anyone had the same issue or knows how to fix this case? When trying to publish a file in the community, it is published without errors but I can never see it in my profile, it also tells me next to the title, the legend “The community file is in review”. And when I consult the link of the file it shows me a 404 error, with the legend that “The file to be consulted does not exist or is not available” Do you know what could be causing the problem? I had previously published some files and had had no problems, however I have noticed that there have been various changes in file management and so on, I don’t know if this has anything to do with it. Hi! For some reason, the new color picker stopped working initially in one file, and then in all files. Specifically, the ability to select a color token is no longer available. Can you help me understand what I might be doing wrong? I’ve already tried reloading the file, restarting Figma, and switching between interface versions.

I’m sure I’m overlooking something obvious, but I can’t find the panel control that will add boolean properties to a component. I commonly added boolean controls to Figma components. But maybe the Figma UI has updated recently and now I can’t find the design panel option that will allow the control addition for a component. When I select the sublayer within the component, I can’t find where I can now associate that layer with a boolean off/on appearance. I hunt through the design panel and can’t see it. Hello, I want the ‘Request for Quote’ button and its background to fix position when scrolling. I manage to get it “fixed” in the prototype tab, but it then this button doesn’t appear in prototype mode. Please see pictures. I’m not sure if I’ve set up constraints properly or not. It’s a long screen, so I don’t want it right at the bottom of the screen, I want it stuck at the Y 756 axis point. Not sure if its an auto layout issue either since I thought absolute position could override any issues with auto layout and fixed-position elements when scrolling. Thanks.

Hi, I’m trying to create a component through a plugin that has four variants, and each variant includes a boolean property. Couldn’t really find something?! For fun, I tried giving the task to ChatGPT o1. Beside some “code” it also wrote: Note: In Figma’s newer component properties system, you can directly attach a boolean property to a single variant (so that you don’t need separate variants for icon on/off). However, the Plugin API (as of now) typically requires you to create multiple variant nodes if you want a boolean property to appear in the properties panel. Is this correct?

So I’m already able to add Colors, Frames with a Grid, and an Image via my plugin to a new Figma file. But is there an easy way to add a Component with variants etc? These would be my need: Is it possible to build the component in Figma, extract the relevant JSON data, and seamlessly integrate it into my plugin? Hi I’m a newbie on Figma I usually design on Adobe Illustration, and I’ve wondering if Figma can do this? like when click on the button the Textbox will pop-up behind the button icon. I know there’s an Overlay option in prototype mode but it still show in front of the Icon. but in Figma it’ll only show in front of the icon. thank you in advance.
