Copy pasted variables

Hi I created a design file and copy pasted color variables from old file. But only variables won’t be published. I tried to recreate a new color variables but some works and some don’t?? 

Can anyone know what is going on and how to fix this? Thank you.

Let's see if those variables are hidden from publishing. Here's what you can do:

  1. Go to the local variables modal and find the variable that's not publishing.
  2. Click the Edit icon at the end of that variable's row.
  3. Uncheck the "Hide from publishing" box and see if that fixes the publishing issue.
