I have this annoying and weird bug where the Position panel disappears entirely when I select any component. I’ve checked with colleagues on the same files, and their Position panel appears no problem. I have updated, restarted, reloaded tabs to no avail. It’s easy enough to wrap a component in another frame so I can still position absolute (ignore autolayout), but I keep running into this weeks later.Anyone else ever seen this?

In the new Glass effect there are two ways to change the light‑angle: Using the interactive control with visualization. Entering a value into the text input field. When you adjust the angle via the text field and press Ctrl + Z, the change is undone as expected. However, if you rotate the interactive control and then press Ctrl + Z, Figma instead undoes the last unrelated action (e.g. the preceding tool change), skipping over your angle adjustment entirely. Consistently reproducible? Yes, every time. Any error messages? No error messages; undo simply targets the wrong stack entry. reproduction steps: 1. Select a object with the Glass effect applied. 2. In the right‑hand panel, click the control “angle” control and drag to change the light angle. 3. Immediately press Ctrl + Z. 4. Observe that Figma undoes the previous unrelated action, not the angle change. 5. (Contrast) Repeat step 2 by typing a new angle value into the text field; pressing Ctrl + Z correctly reverts that change. Bug i

We’re trying to utilize Figma buzz, but are running into a lot of issues for it to be usable. Current issue is we have a set of social media graphics that need to be able to bulk replace the content on 9 different graphics that all have the same title, date, time, etc. We we’re going to utilize the “select all matching objects”, then multi-edit text, but it’s showing as an option for me, but not my coworker. Why would this be?

Since I got no answer on ask the community, reporting as a problem instead. I’m trying to use Figma Buzz to create some templates. We have an icon library that uses a swap instance property within the component to swap out the icon as well as a property to define the size of the icon. As you can see in the image, it is only showing that first property of size of the icon and doesn’t let me switch out the actual icon with the instance swap. Is this a bug or limitation? If I click one more time it does show me my nested instance property where I can turn on the fill of the icon, but I don’t see how to access all the icons through the instance swap property we have on the component. This image shows the replacements it’s offering me, which is to only change the size of the icon. This image shows our original component we have size properties to define the size of the icon, and then an instance swap to choose the actual icon. Are we doing this wrong for this to be useful in Figma Buzz? Why

I've been working with the free version of Figma Make for the past few days and have been absolutely loving the workflow. It felt like a game-changer, so I was excited to go Pro to speed things up and remove the free user limits. However, my excitement quickly turned to confusion. The very first time I tried to use a prompt to change some text after paying for the Pro subscription, I was hit with the message: "Limit reached for this feature until Aug 5, 2025." This has left me wondering: what are the actual benefits of the Pro plan regarding usage limits? I upgraded with the assumption that 'Pro' meant removing the restrictive daily limits that you encounter on the free plan. If the paid plan is still heavily capped (e.g., just a handful of prompts a day), it's hard to understand the value for the price. This wasn't made clear at all during the upgrade

Every time I need to export an asset from Figma in any format, I can successfully export the first but I can’t export any other object afterwards unless I refresh the page. This is becoming a major issue for me as I need to export countless assets for my work on a daily basis and it takes too much time to keep refreshing after every single export, I’ve seen multiple people complaining about the same issue a couple of years ago and they didn’t get a response with a solution either, so I’m raising the issue again. The images when using cline and Figma MCP look nothing like the designs in my Figma files. I have “Use local image server” selected as some other posts have suggested. The vector illustration just turns into some svg that it deems is best fit instead Was wondering if I could get some support as to what may be going wrong, thanks

I am working with Figma for about 3 years and it is a wonderful software. Speed used to be awesome in the beginning. It changed after a while and now it is really a pain to open files, select frames and resize areas. It starts blocking my work. You read always “Empty the cache...” I did but no change. Please dear Figma team realize that there is a problem that needs your attention.

hi there! I made some code layers and everything was working beautiful! after figma sites and make came out of beta, all the code layers started to glitch! Help! i tried to make a new code layer with the code and also glitching , what can i do? Thank you!

Figma has removed the ability to switch frame between Portrait and Landscape mode (without adding rotation to nested elements). Now the only option is to “rotate” the canvas and it adds -90degress to everything that is designed within. Which also flips W and H. And if a component is designed in portrait and then added to landscape (rotated artboard) and you want to “fill” autolayout and contraint proportions totally mess up. I could make my own frame and use that instead, but I cannot save it as a template within Frame templates, super annoying. When I select the guideline for the nudge, the entire canvas moves instead of just the selected guideline. The same issue occurs for both big and small nudges. I’ve tested this across the web and desktop apps, in new and different files, and even tried updating the preferences - but the issue still persists. can someone please help?

Hi! I’m testing a site built with the new Figma Sites feature. I’ve set the top navigation bar as a sticky element and made sure it’s positioned at the very top of the layer tree. In the Layout panel, canvas stacking is set to “First on top.” Canvas stakcking settings It looks fine on Figma and Chrome(desktop & laptop) On Safari and mobile browsers, the sticky navigation bar appears underneath the hero section content, even though it’s set to be the topmost layer in the design. On Chrome (desktop & laptop): everything works as intended — the GNB stays sticky and always remains on top. On Safari (desktop & laptop) and all mobile browsers (Safari & Chrome): the GNB is sticky, but appears underneath other layers and is partially or fully hidden. Is there a workaround or fix for this issue? Thanks in advance!

I'm losing access to the Typography Variables palette for setting font weight — this issue is happening with my premium account. But strangely, I still have access to this feature on my free account. I’m not sure why?

For some reason there is one plugin that just won’t approve no matter who tries to approve it as an admin. Unsure if it’s a bug with Figma or the plugin itself. This is the plugin mentioned: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/990910408295947511/lazy-load. Would like to see some resolution so we can try the plugin out for skeleton loaders mostly!

I am having trouble with a keyboard shortcut, have any of them been changed? Ctrl +shift + K was opening up the window to insert media like images but no longer does so. Instead it opens a window to search or ask a question, anyone familiar with this issue, up until this point haven’t had an issue with any of the shortcuts.

Unable to access figma ai toolset even in the paid plan.

A various number of companies use the website brassring to host their jobs and upon submitting applications, the export version of the PDF file from Figma is old. brassring uses version 10 of PDF while Figma uses version 8. Upon submitting a resume on any company owned brassring sub-site, it just throws an upload error because of the version number. Can Figma update their PDF version so we can properly submit resumes without any issues?

Hi, dear community! After the recent update, I've come across an issue with styles in dev mode (macos app / chrome or arc figma website). Right now, I can’t copy a single line from the styles block — I can only copy all of them using the button. It's not possible to highlight and copy just one line. Has anyone else experienced this? Hi all, I’m writing here to find some assistance or potentially a solution to a bug with figma design. After yesterday’s config announcements and updates on Figma App, I started experiencing extreme lag when copying specific complex components or pages/sections that include such components. My workflow includes multiple (Ctrl+C) copying commands and when I hit copy Figma freezes for about 20-30+ seconds (until it’s copied to clipboard). I didn’t have this problem before the update yesterday. (May 7) I tested everything - clearing cache, resetting the app, moving main components to different pages, trying figma in multiple browsers (I usually use the Windows App) - nothing works. The file has around 900+ variables and numerous main components. The memory usage of the file is at 14% and that shouldn't be an issue. I notice when I duplicate with Ctrl+D it works normally or when dragging a component to copy it while holding Alt, however just the Ctrl+C command makes figma freezes/lag and I

Hey Peeps, Right now my Figma Make is connected to one of my Supabase account which has two of my projects. But I have created a new Supabase account for newer projects, but Figma Make is not allowing me to disconnect the current integration and login or connect to another supabase account. Is this a limitation or can this be fixed with the current capabilities and features. ​@Tom Reem Kindly help, ASAP!
