I'm currently facing an issue where the verification code is not being delivered to my email ID. This is preventing me from logging into my Figma account.

I just updated Figma today, and for some reason. in some frames that I work in I cant Drag select the objects anymore. None of them are locked and I can still click select them one by one.in other frames I can sometimes still drag select. If I rebuild the ‘broke frame’ in a new frame it becomes broken aswell. here is a video of the issue *Edit*There is a Huge Section just above these frames, when I zoom out more, I can select again. when the frame is too close to the section and zoomed in very close. issue happens again When moving the Fram further away from the frame everything works again

I’m a programme manager and teacher at Oslo Nye Fagskole in Norway. I was granted an educational licence about a year ago, but recently I’ve started receiving repeated emails warning that my licence is expiring. Each time, I follow the link in the email to confirm my eligibility. When I click it, I get the message: “You’re in! You are now verified with Figma for Education.” However, a few days later, I receive the same expiry warning again. What to do… tried to contact support then get a message I can only get help through this support forum Thanks in advance for your help!

Site The animation is broken, placements of elements are not correct. Also simple positions of elements - there is a weird different between what you see on the page (the working file) and the outcome when previewing it (play - presentation mode). Its obvious its not cooked enough. One thing for sure - at this stage, if thats the way its functioning, it looses all the advantage of designing in figma and just simply copying and pasting elements from a design file to the site page, which makes it no better than any other platform. I know its still soon to tell, but… quite annoying

Hello Figma team. I’m currently under the education plan and I ended up upgrading a team organization which I’m part of (as admin, not the owner) by mistake. Can you please help me switch this specific organization team back to the starter/free plan as before? I intend to keep my education plan under my personal organization/projects, it’s just this one that I upgraded and I need to switch back to free plan. ​@ksn I’ve seen you helped other people with similar issues. It seems like on-device fonts may be broken. I am having this issue in two separate files on two separate accounts with two separate fonts. On one account, it’s Gotham. The font styles show correctly in the dropdown, but choosing Gotham Regular renders as Gotham Bold. Bold renders as Regular. Light renders as Black. Everything is wrong. Likewise, on a separate account, Univers is being problematic. For one, the font menu isn’t showing all the variants of Univers I have installed, but more importantly, all extended versions have their italics and non-italics swapped, and I only have one of each present in the font dropdown. If I want to use Univers Bold Extended, it will render as Univers Bold Extended Oblique, without the oblique version even being selectable. Is there any workaround for this other than putting the wrong font on and confusing my developers? is there a fix in the works?

Since last 3 days I have noticed that control z shortcut is not working and its causing a lot of friction in my workflow. I have checked my keyboard and its fine. The shortcut worked in MS word. But its just not working in Figma. Please help.

I'm experiencing an issue with the Payments API for my Kanban Board widget where users who've already paid are being asked to pay again on each new board. Hi everyone, I created a team just to share one file with a friend. Somehow, older projects I made before the team existed showed up under it. I thought I was just deleting the team—but everything got deleted. This is years of work. Has anyone experienced this? Is there any way to recover the files? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So, in principle, if an instance is inside of another component, changing the variant causes the text to reset back to the text of the master component. This also happens with other properties of the instance, e.g. if you set some booleans up they will be reset to how they were set in the master component once the variant is changed via variable. Here’s a screenshot of what I mean: and here’s the link to the file to mess around with. (So, this issue might be similar (or even basically the same) as discussed here: Change to on instance not keeping text change but frankly I haven’t had the patience to look into OPs setup 😅 I tried to break the issue down to the most bare-bones that I could in the file I provided (also to see if the issue has anything to do with my components or just is a bug) If anyone has found a workaround do let me know 🙏 (and yes, I do need the instance within another instance; it’s a button inside a form layout that I want to reuse (and many other such cases).

My Figma site is no longer loading. I’ve got this error message.

I’m trying to switch a variant of component instance by switching variable mode. This works perfect once the component A is on top level and not nested. But if I nest component A into component B and then change the variable, the instance of component A still changes the variant as supposed but this also resets all other other properties of comp A to their defaults. This doesn’t happen when comp A is not nested. Tried with several components even with the simplest created from scratch. This topic doesn’t relate to prototypes and interactivity.

I am in a corporate environment and my machine is locked down I need to put a request into IT for them to update the Version that have in thier software centre. Strange things happening when using lines in autolayout if starting a auto-layouted-frame with lines, nothing is correctly aligned if starting with rectangles and then adding a line, the rectangles work, but line still has issues

Skipped slides in Figma Slides are still visible on the iOS app, is that the intended behaviour?

This suddenly started about 24 hours ago and has not abated. See gif. Checking/unchecking scope boxes, adding/moving/removing variables, all of this suddenly has like 4 seconds of lag per action. It suddenly started, there was no slow onset. Everything was zippy until yesterday. I can’t work like this, the lag adds up when I’m working in here all day. Please advise.

Opening files within a project is not always responsive (Figma Home) Selecting a Project Folder from the sidebar has occasionally been non-responsive The back/forward navigation buttons are currently non-responsive (Figma Home) Keyboard shortcuts like CMD+scroll to zoom often get locked when not pressing cmd (not a keyboard issue – I’ve tested this with other keyboards) Figma sites-specific issues: Adding a “Block” only shows embedded html, audio, or videos – pages, navigation, heroes, and features are all hidden for an unknown reason, and only re-surfaces when I’ve force closed Figma, the project file, and re-opened it again. Prototype does not display proper fonts, even after confirming the font chosen is a Google Font and not custom. In my specific case, I use Bricolage Grotesque. Automatic multi-text editor, when selecting the primary breakpoint, often does not update smaller breakpoints. I typically have to edit it

The insert menu in Sites is empty apart from Embeds. There used to be starter blocks which were helpful for non design folk on the team to whip together wireframes. Are these coming back or is it a bug? For context Were on the enterprise plan. Have tried existing and creting a new site file. Have tried in desktop and browser version of the app.

I am trying to change my account to a student account after switching from teacher to a student in an App Development bootcamp. I am having trouble finding a way to switch. When I try to verify, it tells me I am already verified when I click “Get verified”.
