Please back always display of element sizes. I dont waте every time to hover field to see element sizes. Its bad UX and make me do one more action that I dont need. Plaese fix it.  

In Figma, when using Auto Layout within a Cell component that contains different types of adaptive content, most elements resize correctly. However, checkbox, radio, and icon components remain fixed in size and do not adjust dynamically, despite having the same Auto Layout and constraint settings as other elements within the component.components remain fixed in size, even when their settings match other resizable elements within the same Cell.✔ Auto Layout settings verified (Hug, Fill, constraints)✔ Checked for fixed width/height settings (none found)✔ Ensured the parent container (Cell) is not restricting size✔ Verified that components are not locked or instances with constraints✔ Checked if Clip Content is affecting visibility (it is not) 

I’m working in Figma slides, I have tried web and desktop but the problem persists.I am in Design Mode and have the move tool selected and Fixed Size text box, however it scales proportionally, including the text inside. I just want to resize the box. It’s like I’m stuck in the scale tool somehow. I have restarted and still like this. The same for exisitng and new text boxes.

I have chosen Figma Slides for a project involving academia and municipality partners knowing that Edit Mode is would not be restricted, that’s why we chose the platform. We have been collaborating on it but yesterday the non-academic accounts have been locked out of edit mode and the whole project has been frozen a few days before presentation. Please help…

First I thought some parts of my wireframes were erased, but I looked at my layers and they were there. I inspected them and most of them had become white. Then I thought I did something wrong because I was on a branch, I merged updates from main and then I merged my branch. I found on my versions a version with the colors so I copied and tried to bring it back, but it was like I did not had editing rights of some parts of Figma. I closed and open the file several times until I had full editing access. I was able to copy my files from the old version to the new. And then left the file. I came back again to copy something and again several layers had gone white. What is causing this? How do I stop it?

Currently running into an issue where changing the variant property of one of my nested instances is causing some of the other instances to change.The expected behaviour should be that changing my variant on one instance should have no impact on the other. This is also only affecting some of the instances, which seems strange to me. Any ideas if this is a Figma bug? Changing the “Type” property to change one of my Insight Blocks from one variant to another.Multiple instances are changing at once after I make the selection.  

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been experiencing issues with copying elements in Figma. Initially, the problem was limited to components, but now I’m unable to copy entire frames as well. This issue occurs both within the same file and when trying to copy from other files.

I have been locked out of the workspace that I pay for. This workspace holds all of my companies digital assets. I can’t even re-pay the monthly subscription in order to get in touch with a live agent. This is horrifying. HELP 

I have a linear gradient which when I try to export doesn’t show up. it won't appear in the preview nor on the download. I have closed the app down and even cleared the cache but it still doesn’t appear. any ideas?

When I am about to add a new slides from my custom template I’m only able to see a couple of slides. They are not loading for anyone in the team. We have about 50 slides in the custom template.  

I am using Figma to create a prototype of my Portfolio, which I then share with outside companies and viewers. I pay for a monthly plan so that I can share this prototype freely without worrying about viewers accessing the rest of the file. I've recently been notified that there is a 404 error when trying to access my prototype.The permissions for the file are set to "Anyone - Can View", and obviously the file is not deleted, so there should be no issues triggering the 404 message. I searched for information about this problem and was told (via your AI chatbot) to clear my cache. I did so, but when asking the chatbot if clearing my cache would help others access the file, the bot said "the cache clearing process simply refreshes your connection to Figma and helps resolve any permission-related issues on your end."Now I feel uncertain that I can share my prototype with confidence, and I suspect that I have missed out on job opportunities because hiring managers have not been able to acc

The Y position of my frame keeps changing. I want my content to scale to the bottom instead of from the center.But somehow I magically fixed it while I was recording my screen. Where can I find the setting to keep it fixed?Screen recordEdit: While the Y-position is now fixed, my frame auto layout was automatically changed from Hug to Fixed, which is not what I wanted

I can’t believe this basic text formatting issue is still unaddressed in Figma in 2025, but I need to indent a full paragraph — every line if it, not just the first line, and not with a quote. Has anyone found a workaround? I know I can give this paragraph its own text box, but that just stinks. Other ideas? Plug-ins anyone has found that work? Thanks! And Figma — for the love of all that is holy, please fix this.

Hi everyone, I created this arrow icon for a dropdown field and noticed I couldn’t flip it (to indicate the dropdown is being expanded). So then I just took the down-arrow, flipped it (I tried transforming by 180 degrees, and also clicking the “flip vertical” button), and created a new component. The up-arrow shows in my icon library, but it keeps displaying as a down-arrow in my instances. Would anyone here know what the issue is and how I could fix it? Thank you! 

If I use modes to swap the states between 3 radio buttons and switch the state of another component it works fine. However, If I open the same frame as a modal, and try to swap between the modes, it glitches. When you choose another option in the modal, parts of the UI disappear, and you have to click twice to get it to work.Steps to replicateCreate a radio component with selected and deselected variants Drag those 3 options into the frame and make options a, b, and c Make a text area component with 3 variants, a, b, and c. Create string variables for each option-a, option-b, and options-c and bind the variables to the radios Make a text variable for the text area and bind it to the instance. In the last few days I have seen in my archives that the order of the collection of varaibles defined by numbers has changed and now the new collections are simply being organised in the dropdown by creationist. Is there any way to rearrange them, or at least know the logic of why this has changed? 

Уже не в первый раз пропадают скачанные шрифты. Скачиваю по всем правилам, все нормально. Через день шрифтов нет, но на компьютере они есть. 

 Hey our team is having the issue when viewing our designs that the scroll position keeps jumping and resetting. This happens on almost every screen and the behaviour is inconsistent, meaning sometimes nothing happens and everything works well and sometimes its completely unusable. This is issue is causing a lot of frustration and problems for our team and design development process. We can’t reliably use Figma prototyping features for user testing since the users are met with buggy scroll behaviour no matter what device they are using. Making design testing and viewing frustrating and almost impossible is in my opinion completely unacceptable from what is supposed to be the industry standard design tool.So far we have tried:Detaching instances Viewing in Figma (both the modal view and full page view), in browser and on phone browser Changing from auto-layout to frames Removing animated components

Hello,For over a month now, the search function in Figma has not been working correctly for layers—whether text, graphic, or any other type. Instead of displaying specific elements, the search results only show design thumbnails, making the search feature practically useless.This issue severely impacts workflow, especially in large projects. Without the ability to quickly locate layers and text, navigation and editing become chaotic and significantly more time-consuming.We believe this is a widespread issue affecting many users, not just our team.
