I noticed that the type and color styles aren’t consistently applied across all the slides. After going through several rounds of edits, I ended up with multiple styles that have the same names. I want to clean and consolidate them, but for some reason, the styles don’t seem to be applying correctly to every page. It’s really strange. help!

It sounds like you're trying to clean up color styles and text styles on your slide deck, since they're not applying consistently across all your slides.

If you're looking to update an entire slide with a specific template's styles, you can try this:

  1. Select the slide you want to update.

  2. Open the Template style dropdown in the right sidebar.

  3. Choose the template you want to apply.

Also, are you finding that as you edit your slides, you're ending up with multiple styles that have the same names within a single template?

If so, you might want to try editing your existing template color and text styles.
