Report a Problem

When a child component is set to constrain proportions within it’s parent, it completely loses the ability to fill it’s parent at the instance level. I assumed, that at the instance level, setting the child to fill the parent would override the constrained proportions, but instead, when I set to fill, I instantly receive a toast at the bottom of the screen informing me that figma set the child’s height to fixed. This absolutely feels like a bug. If I set a child to fill at the instance level, I expect it to override it’s constrained proportions attribute.

I tried to set the letter spacing to be 20% on using the font Proxima Nova, but when I type the word “Office”, the letter spacing is not showing the way I set after each lowercase “f”. No matter how I change the letter spacing, the letter after the lower case “f” always stick with the “f”. This situation only happens with the lowercase “f”, I’ve tried other letters the letter spacing works fine. Does anybody know how to resolve this problem? I have attached an image to better interpret the problem.   

I cant find any tool to import my webpage that is running locally into figma. Does anyone have a solution. I upgraded to use the plugins and non of them work for my usecase. 

Figpal position moves to the middle of the page when shortcut panel is enabled. I currently cannot use both at the same time. Prob a bug needs fixing  

i am creating a website were i want to imitate a section the grows in height with the screen width, for this purpose i use the aspect ratio lock with a fill auto layout setting, it works but thing is that it cuts off the bottom of the prototype so i cant view my footer fully

It’s started like yesterday, didn’t change anything. When i running figma all text layers in file, all settings text, like litterally every single text in figma desktop - are blurry and low quality.After im hovering mouse on this text, its became normal. Or if i zoom in (in file) same, looks normal. But it’s kinda frustrating.All other text on any app/whole computer is okay. Figma web version (in google chrome) works well, nothing changes here.But in desktop app got some artifacts, don’t know why. Tried to back up to old graphic driver’s, tried reinstall figma, same prob.Below some screenshots

I want to copy an image from one instance to another, but it’s not working anymore. When I click in the image area, the “copy” function doesn’t seem to work anymore. 

Looking at the license types, two dev licenses have been assigned that I have never used and that I cannot cancel. I have a monthly subscription and I already have two users with full licenses. I have no option to cancel them and they appear on my billing. They have not been used nor will they be used  

Since the last update, I am not able to see the annotations for one screen only. If you see the screenshot, the annotations appear for all the screens together, making it difficult for me to know which annotation is for which screen. Is it a bug or intentional? Or can I change this setting?

I am unable open the generative gradient please help me out with  this 

Hello! With last update, it’s pretty difficult to select a branch from doc preview.When I try to do it, the list option disappears the most of times. 😅 It wasn’t a question… Just saying 🤗

3min vid of bugs + 1 suggestion.1. Drag symbol doesn’t align after scrolling past around *30 variant values. Glitch happens after scrolling down for a while. Cause the same value gets perfect alignment to start with, then past scrolling down, that same value now gets super wonky alignment with drag UI.2. Hovering over Variant value use to highlight the value in workspace (your busy component). I can’t remember the names of all my 185+ icons, etc. So now I can’t tell which variant in my busy component will be edited, as I hover over the variant value. Clicking target icon to highlight variant exists ‘Edit Variant Property’ list options. Most of the time that’s not the variant I was after and now I’m lost where I was in my long list of variants. Please add this highlight on hover feature again.3. Variants I click hold to drag in the right order, are no longer allowed to be dragged past the small window (only 8 variant values in view). How am I supposed to drag my latest variant (last) in

I have shared our my presentation according to these instructions. The logic behind it seems totally lost:Client can’t open it through the direct URL (stuck as black loading screen) I can open it in any browser (in which I’m not logged into Figma) I can open it in an incognito window (in which I’m not logged into Figma) I can’t open it in on my phone (stuck as black loading screen) A colleague can open it in on his phone A colleague can open it in on his phone in an incognito windowI’ve shared the presentation in Present Mode through the Share Presentation button. On ‘who has access’ I’ve selected Anyone. It is not password protected. I then proceeded to send the client the URL from the 🔗 Copy Audience Link button, with no luck.What’s happening here? Need to get this out asap and I’m quite lost.

Hi folks, on figma Slide (new update), I don't understand what's going on, but when it came to animating the slides, I could specify: go to the next slide after one click OR directly. I can't find the option anymore. Am I the only one?

I created a scrolling frame with an icon fixed at the bottom. when you scroll al the way up, you can reach the end and start over. when I create the interaction of start over (navigate to...) it doesnt work properly, whether the interaction is on an icon nor a 0% opacity frame. when i do so, it does not allow scrolling properly, skipping the middle of the frame. only when I remove the interaction that is needed, I can scroll properly. how can it be fixed? 

In my team of designers & as a leader, I am the only one, who still haven’t received any Figma AI feature till date. Also, I have paid plan for my account.Perhaps all the other latest features like Annotations, measurements and FigPal is activated in my account. But I am so frustrated waiting for sooo long now. 

Hi, when I lock objects in FigJam, they initially appear as locked, but after interacting with other elements on the board, those initially locked elements become unlocked - I believe this is a bug and needs fixing.  

I can't use Figma AI, it doesn't work for me, I'm from Uzbekistan, many people in my country have this problem  

Screenshot 01 is a version I restored from the version history. I can work with it, but the problem is that after a few days, it always ends up like Screenshot 02. What’s really strange is that all the connection arrows disappear — and even the interactions themselves are gone. However, everything still works perfectly in Present mode. Has anyone else experienced the same issue?I only imported a few components, but this issue is happening with all components in the file.0102 

I use a MacBook and heavily rely on Figma Jam as my whiteboard for daily work and notes. Recently, I suddenly found that I can no longer use shortcuts like Command + | or Command + Z; they have unexpectedly switched to Control + |. I checked my MacBook settings and didn't find any changes, and I haven't updated the system. I used to use Command + various function keys without any issues. I hope someone can help explain this.

After I restarted my computer yesterday, the client could not be opened. I have a Windows computer and the web version is OK, but it cannot be opened even if I reinstall it.

Has anyone else encountered an instance where the the shortcut as written in the Keyboard Short cuts panel doesn’t work? I know that the Paste-to-Replace shortcut being changed is a well documented topic, but I haven’t seen anyone talk about experiencing what I’m seeing. In my instance of Figma (Desktop App v114.6.1 on Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1), the keyboard shortcuts panel, as well as right click menus all indicate that the shortcut for Paste to Replace is (the maligned) [Shift+Cmd+R]. But if I press those keys, nothing happens. However, if I press the OG [Cmd+Option+Shift+V] it does work. A mislabeled keyboard shortcut obviously isn’t a major problem, but it is weird (imo) and it makes me wonder if there’re other shortcuts that’ve been mislabeled or not updated. Is there something I haven’t done that would clear this up? (It’s been like this for a while, I just haven’t thought to mention it here. tl;dr: What’s the deal with keyboard shortcuts???

HI Team , We are integrating Figma with SailPoint and our requirement is to assign admin Permission to a user as a group membership. to achieve this we are using the Patch API given in the Figma documentation. Below is the payload body we are sending Using PATCH request : Request is working as expected given in documentation, but the user is now assigned as admin in Figma. Please help why it not assigning admin permission. As attached below snippet no admin tag to user .
