Hi Figma team,I accidentally deleted important file on June 25 around 4:20 p.m. The file is no longer visible in my account and in the trash. I had shared the file with a second account, but it’s not available there either.The file name was “Кейсы”, and it was created in a Education plan.Is there any way to restore the file, even partially?Thanks a lot in advance — this project is really important for me.[redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII]

Any figma file when I am viewing in the present mode or prototype mode. The screen is not showing properly  We can see in the attached screenshot like how the screen is showing half. I have changed the browser view it in firefox, brave even installed desktop figma app it is showing like these. But when view via mobile it is showing properly. I have clear cache in the browser

The delete property button does not work. I accidentally created a variant, and want to delete it. But this minus button does nothing!   

So I have this simple Avatar with text (using auto layout and working correctly You’ll notice that I’ve stacked two instances on top of each other using auto layout. However, when you look at the FLOW in the right-hand menu, you’ll see that it’s set to HORIZONTAL. … I want it to be VERTICAL (as shown) , but when I choose VERTICAL (see below) it goes to a ‘backwards’ HORIZONTAL layout I’ve changes the canvas stacking, restarted Figma, restarted my Mac without luck. The only thing I’ve been able to do is rebuild it, but after a few minutes it starts happening again.Any help appreciated

two days ago I couldn’t find the Property option on the dropdown menu when linking a text or an element from a component to a proprety, and they don’t show on the menu even if I create them before hand I’ve linked this issue in the GIF below 

always loading, cannot be exported successfully, IM waiting for a whole day, Its still loading, and i cant find the library in figma make:  

After letting my previous student plan expire and not using Figma for a while, I tried reapplying for one with the same account I had used to apply for the first student plan (around like 2020). The account logs in via Google and because of that I don’t think you can change the Figma account’s connected email(?) and so I tried to just reapply with said google log-in. This failed, so I tried making a new account with the school email and reapply. This time it worked, but I was wondering if I could somehow move the plan to the old account or maybe easily migrate old work / ownerships of projects?  Thanks.  

Instead of being able to crop it freely as before, now the Top & Bottom act the same. So when I drag the top downwards, the bottom is going upwards at the same time… This makes it very hard to crop exactly what I need. Why has this changed? Did I accidentally do something that made it behave like this?

ENTIRELY UNRESPONSIVE SALES TEAM!!! I have reached out 5x over the last few weeks and heard nothing from your sales team. I am wanting to upgrade to enterprise. What kind of business doesn’t respond when their customer wants to give them more money???? 

I was cleaning up unused files in my Figma desktop app by leaving teams/projects that were no longer active. After removing these teams, when I tried reopening one of my personal files, I got a pop-up saying:"This is an unassigned draft file"Now it's telling me to 'ask any admin' - but I'm confused because I never shared this file with anyone! It's my personal file, so why would I need admin permission to access my own work?" 

Frame Name is showing like this only in this file. but when I double click to check if the name is added properly, it shows the exact name. I’m using Figma Desktop App on windows. The issue is just in this file.

I noticed that the type and color styles aren’t consistently applied across all the slides. After going through several rounds of edits, I ended up with multiple styles that have the same names. I want to clean and consolidate them, but for some reason, the styles don’t seem to be applying correctly to every page. It’s really strange. help!

Do not allow third-party cookies is the standard in browsers by now.I find that I need to specifically disable this protection to have Figma embeds load in Confluence.

I have a prototype of about 50 pages and the back and next button does not seem to work in some of these button. Is it a recent figma bug?

STOOOOOOOOOOPPPP fixing every f*cking autolayout that I have in my project!!! It's being the worst exeperience of my routine to deal with Figma everyday! It's disgusting to deal with so many bugs, wrong things, things that you didn't ask to edit but even so Figma goes there and BAAAAMM changes. I HATE FIGMA SO BAD! I hope some good soul appears soon to create a better competitor.

I’m not getting the desired interaction in Figma prototype.I have an accordion component that includes 4 document items and an "add document" button by default. For the prototype, I want to show variations—like only 2 documents and no button—so I hide certain layers within the instance.But when I preview the prototype, it resets to the default component state and ignores the changes I made (like hidden layers).I've made a video to illustrate the issueAnyone know why this is happening or how to work around it?

It's been over a year since I signed up for the Education plan and I'm still a student. I want to renew (or upgrade) my student status, but the message keeps saying I'm verified and I can't access the Professional features (which are free for educators). Please, I need to upgrade and renew my Education plan.

Before you used to be able to command click on an entire frame and it would collapse all groups inside the frame and the frame itself. Now if I have a frame that has 100s of layers and layer groups and I am trying to find a specific layer, I can’t collapse all folders easily to find the correct layer group.

When I export a screen as a PNG or JPG, there will be random faded grid lines on some parts of the image. The filter icon in this example also doesn’t have a box around it in Figma.  I’ve tried exporting with different settings and always get the same result. There’s no grid on the screen in Figma - it looks completely normal there. When my coworker exports the same screen, it’s normal for her. Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

Hi guys,If I try to copy an element from a frame, far away from that frame on the main canvas, that element is still gonna get copied inside that parent frame. What’s the point? If I drag the page miles away from the parent frame, my intention is probably copying that element somewhere else, not in the same frame, no? edit: I can’t tell you how annoying and illogical this is. Is it a bug? It didn’t work like that in the past, I know for sure. Or is it by design for some weird messed up reason?

A couple of bugs that have been annoying me lately:Unable to click “+” for strokes and fill and effects. I am able to apply variables, but whenever I click “+”, it would not respond. Unable to remove strokes, fill and effects. Once I apply them, I cannot click remove. If I do it on a browser though, it works Left click not working on elements sometimes. I have tried restarting the application over and over again but these bugs keep consistently appearing

Hi,I was previously on a paid plan however after switching to a free plan I now have lost access to the billing section within figma. I still need to access past invoices for this account. Is that something that you might be able to help me with?  Regards,Jay

Hello,I’m currently using the Figma for Education plan, and I would like to use the AI First Draft feature to assist in my academic projects. I’ve checked my settings, and the feature appears to be enabled, but for some reason, I still can’t access or use it.I’m not sure why this is happening, and I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue. Is there any limitation with the Education plan regarding this feature? Or is there something else I should configure?Thank you in advance for your support.Best regards,Mario

Hi there, I’ve moved from Berlin to London. I cancelled my subs for awhile and today I wanted to renew the Professional Plan and it kept throwing me this error.I’ve tried to change the card to my German account, and change the currency everything. Pls help.
