Hey everyone, I successfully authenticated my student status through SheerID, they have confirmed that all my information was correct. Somehow my status was still not transferred to Figma and I don’t have access to my education account, does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue as I have already reached out to education@figma.com about a month ago and haven’t heard back yet. Or who I could possibly reach out to instead or through a different medium? 

I had two slides files in my account that I last edited in Jan 2025, and they are no longer there. I checked all my teams and projects and trash. Can someone help please?

We have an issue when attempting to add external team members to our connected project. Both organisations are on a paid plan and have a connected project setup. The external team member attempting to add, is part of the connected organisation.However, when attempting to add an external member to the connected project they are restricted saying they need to be part of the host organisation.  

In admin panel People section, when I open detail of user and changing users, “Role” field don´t change based on user  (side panel is still open)- showing role of First opened user.All other fields are dynamically load by the user detail.If I close and reopen side panel with another user, side panel load all the data.

Hello! I’ve recently run into this problem with some images in my project files. Frames that had images in them no longer appear to have them and version history also cannot pull any of the images. They seem to just be gone. We have multiple instances across multiple files where we’ve encountered this. The images now just appear as rectangles in the layers panel. For one project page all of the images have disappeared, while on another only a few.  example of what it looks like in the layer panel now 

I have a Figma Library that is getting to heavy, so my team and I deleted all the unnecessary items, components, resizes the images and downloaded the file has a local file. We got 128mb.And for the upload purpose we need it to be much smaller, the issue is no matter what we delete, it doesn't change the file size, we even cleared the all file, including the Version History.It literally keep the same exact size 128mb, after download it to a local copy again.What are we missing here? Can you help?

Hey friends! Is anyone else having issues with Figma Make projects working great in the preview and then just giving a blank screen when published and accessed via the provided URL.I’ve tried refreshing the project, fully closing out Figma and reopening, even duplicating the project entirely and publishing that, but still getting the same issue. Have had some coworkers try the URLs as well and they similarly get blank screens. When I go into dev tools on the published site, the code is empty and has seemingly nothing from the project.Our hope was to test with users using Make prototypes since it’s a huge step up over testing on a static prototype, so would be amazing to figure out what might be causing this! 

I build a Figma Website for my Company and they use Microsoft Edge Broswser, Chrome and Firefox in Citrix. The Website loads and works in Firefox and Chrome Citrix. It also loads in Browsers outside citrix. But if i open it in Edge Citrix it shows nothing, loads only 2 menü points in the top and thats it. Is there any thing i can do ore a place i can get help? I know this may not be an easy fix but i dont even know where to start looking for the problem.

Hi everyone, I’ve been facing an ongoing Design System sync issue across multiple project files, and despite submitting detailed tickets to Figma Support, I haven’t received any response.Posting here in hopes that someone from the Figma team or community can help. Problem summary Components from our shared Design System are randomly breaking or desyncing across files. It started with an icon in a file uploader component that appeared oversized in one file, then moved to a modal background overlay, and now even affects button icons in other files. Replacing the affected component instance fixes it temporarily, but after a while the same issue appears again on different components or files.  Why I’m posting Since support hasn’t responded yet (Ticket #1569789 and #1560466), I’m posting here to see if anyone else is experiencing similar component desync or visual corruption issues across files, or if a Figma staff member can help escalate this. Any insights or workarounds would be greatly

I'm losing access to the Typography Variables palette for setting font weight — this issue is happening with my premium account.But strangely, I still have access to this feature on my free account.I’m not sure why?  

Hey, I can’t access my Figma file that I’ve been working on for months. It just disappeared and is now asking for request permissions. 

My figma account was created using my university email which was deactivated! I need access to my projects for portfolio reasons and I’ve filled out a request form to get this sorted and have yet to receive a response to my updated email address I provided. Can someone please help me? I have no access at all to any emails going to my deactivated university email.

Hello there,I have encountered a confusion in admin interface of figma plans. Admin - dashboard, billingUse case: I have vacated some of the seats we used, some of them were annual and some monthly. Some collab, some full seats. I am unable to see on the dashboard, what type of seats are available. Both lead me to manage existing paid seats and don‘t show available ones. Admin - Dashboard Admin - BillingOn top, the arrow “back” in the top is broken and doesn‘t lead to the correct previously visited page within admin sites. Admin - People: Editing seats for usersIn this dialog of editing seats for a particular user, I am unable to see if monthly or annual seat is gonna be used. Which one is it? Admin - People: edit seat on an individual userI am posting this to give feedback on the lack of clarity. The navigation issue seems like a bug to me.

Since yesterday, Figma Make has suddenly stopped working.It had been working perfectly before that.The problem is that after entering a prompt, it gets stuck at the “thinking” stage and then stops without any feedback or progress.One strange symptom is that when I enter a new prompt, the previous one reappears together with the new one — both start “thinking” again and then freeze. This keeps repeating.I’ve already tried every possible fix: version rollback, file duplication, using a different browser, etc., but nothing has solved it.Is anyone else having the same promlem?

The selection tool shows up as a white rectangle and doesn’t let me see the dimensions of things as well

I lost access to this address.When I try to change the email address, it asks for the password, which I don’t have and can’t reset due to having lost the access to this old email.I am logged in computer and mobile, but now migrating computers and need help asap.Could you please escalate. my current user [redacted by moderator to remove personal information]. Our Figma covers seem broken when we’re looking in the projet view.We use 1920x1080 and 1280x720 and both are looking bad now : smaller in the preview mode.   

Since the last update, it’s impossible to copy and paste the image fill, into another component.I’m working with Auto Layout and I used to be able to select the fill > copy this > open another component > select the fill > paste.This doesn’t work anymore. It’s a feature I use all the time. Does anybody else experience this?

Has anyone found this icon? It used to exist in older versions of figma—figma even shows and talks about it in their documentation, BUT it seems like there’s been an update and it’s moved/buried somewhere.I can apply variables to colors under libraries to choose the variable color. However to apply numbers (like 500) or strings (like unique text phrase for header for eg), they are setup as variable but there is NO icon in appearance or typography section in my design panel. There are variable referenced in type settings but that seems to change the weight/height things. I’m trying to set number values and set text phrases.I’m completely lost/stuck. Thank you!

It first worked on the instance (the plus icon) properly=> But as soon as I try to apply for components, the Apply variable/Property icon disappeared => Also after applying the property for all the plus icon, now it its not working => 

I am trying to purchase a Figma subscription for the first time, but I receive the following error:"Your payment method's address is in a country that can't pay in EUR. Please use a different payment method."Our company is based in Serbia, and we would like to pay in EUR. Could you please clarify if this is possible, or let us know which currency we should use to complete the purchase?

Hey Guys I had accidently added my educational plan on a different account but then i delete that account so that I can apply it on a diffrent account, but no use the same error again.  

And it is getting worse. For a long time, we have been using a file naming structure that consists of 1-2 or more Jira issues, such as AB-1234, and the actual project name. This was never a problem in UI2 because we could see the entire name in the tool bar and for any thumbnail when hovering over the tab bar. But now it looks like "AB-1234 | AB-1234 | Filenam...".There are hundreds of such files, and no one sane would try to rename them. And no one should have to, because it's not right for a tool you've been using for years to suddenly become less convenient and efficient.Possible solution:- Change the file name component in the left panel to a text field instead of a single-line input. This seems like an easy fix. No one cares if it’s 1 line or 3, it’s visually ok in both cases, just let us see the whole name without any workaround, like before.- Stop shortening the name in previews when hovering over the tab bar. Hey, I have a bunch of var tables in my UI kit, and from time to time the strings in those var collections just go and become hidden from publishing, which I’ve never intended to do. Are there any clues why could this happen again and again? Drives me nuts to go and waste my time unchecking those 50+ times.
