Sergey Cherskiy

I am the sole owner of this account and team. Design file was created by me and belonged to my only team. The file disappeared from my projects gallery. Now it is only accessible via direct link and shows “Request access”, even though I am the owner. Access requests do not reach my email. How restore ownership or reattach the file to my account?

I can help confirm the file’s current team and owner to see what may have happened to it on the backend.

I can confirm that you are the file owner and creator, but this file now resides in a Shared project in the organization. When a member is removed from an organization, the files that were in their personal drafts are put into a Shared projects area, so Org admins can move the project and its files into an active team. The files can't be interacted with until this takes place, which is why you’re not receiving access requests. These requests are going to the Org Admin. 
 
I suggest reaching out to your admin and passing along this guide: View and manage shared projects

This will show them how to move the drafts into a team that you have access to, and at that point the file ownership can be inherited by someone who already has the proper role on the file.
