Issues with charts in Figma Make

Hi everyone,

Since yesterday, I’ve been facing issues with Figma Make. I created some dashboards using the prompt (and I noticed they were created with Recharts integration) but they are no longer displaying on my screen:

Besides that, the "Point and edit" button is not working. When I click it, my page automatically returns to the beginning of my flow.

Anyone else having this issues?

There were a few issues with Figma Make last week, but those should be resolved now. If you haven’t already, try refreshing your file and see if it starts behaving as expected.

If you’re still experiencing issues after refreshing, feel free to reply here and let me know — we can dig in further from there.

In the meantime, I can see that you’ve already reached out to our support team, and I’ve gone ahead and escalated your case internally (case #1704753).

I have been experiencing the same issue since yesterday. The charts are not rendering properly. Initially, they appeared for a few seconds before disappearing, and now they no longer appear at all.

I’m having the same issue here as of today!
I reached out to a teammate and gave them access to my file, and they were able to view the charts, so the same file, different accounts, and I’m not able to see the charts while my teammate is.

I’ve already tried multiple things. Making a copy of the file, having my team mate that is not having this issue, making a copy of the file, restarting Figma, restarting the computer, logging in and out, even resetted cash and nothing seems to work! 

In the attached video, the charts display for a very short period, and then they are gone forever.
In another file, which I can’t share, the charts never display.

Update: I wanted to provide a brief status note after checking in with the team that ​@Celyn_L escalated this to yesterday. Our engineering team is actively investigating the reported issues with charts, and we’ll return here with an update as soon as we have more information to share.

Really appreciate everyone’s patience while we investigate — we’re keeping a close eye on this and will follow up as soon as we know more.

Our Engineering team has pushed a fix and confirmed that the issues with the recharts library have been mitigated. Please refresh your files and let us know if you’re still experiencing any issues.

Thanks for quick fix. The charts are loading perfectly now. ! 

One thing I found frustrating is that I tried multiple times/prompt to explain to Figma Make that the charts were not showing. Each time it responded saying it had identified the issue and fixed it, and confirmed that the charts should now be visible—but they weren’t. In some cases, attempting to fix one issue also ended up breaking other parts of the design.

 

I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps improve the reliability of Figma Make.

I am experiencing the same problem, the charts are not visible. One was appearing for 2 seconds, then got disappeared again. I have logged out, logged back in again, tried to clean my browsing history as well… seems nothing works

This is incredibly frustrating. I have tried everything in this thread. Deleting and re-creating with the same prompt, multiple re-renderings, refreshes but I can’t get the charts to show.

I’m really sorry for the frustration this has caused, let’s work together to get this sorted.

First, could you try this quick step that may help reset the connection:

  • Duplicate your Figma Make file and test the prompt in the copied version.

As a next step, you can also check out these resources for additional troubleshooting steps and best practices:

If the issue persists, I’d recommend submitting a bug report via “Contact support” from the (?) icon in your Figma Make file.

The chatbot will guide you through opening a report with our team so they can take a closer look and assist you directly.

Please also share your impacted file with support-share@figma.com and grant “Can View” access — this will not impact your billing and will allow us to reproduce the issue and investigate with Engineering.

Hey ​@Celyn_L, looks like this is an intermittent problem. Sometimes the charts are working and sometimes they are not. I'm facing issues again right now, even after duplicate the file. 😥

This is still a problem - I wouldn’t mark this thread solved. I think a product meant for UI creation should be able to render UI. This is table stakes.

Same here. Yesterday the graph in my files worked fine and as of this morning it doesn’t appear and nothing works to fix this
