Lost access to projects due to school email change

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with my Figma account related to my former school email address. Since I’m no longer a student, the email associated with the account was changed, and I can no longer access it. Unfortunately, all of my projects are still locked to that account.

I’ve tried resetting the password, but the reset email never arrives at the updated email address.

Would it be possible to transfer those projects to my current Figma account?

I understand that you’ve lost access to your previous school email address linked to one of your Figma accounts and are looking for a way to regain access to your projects or move them to your current account.

 

Thanks for confirming that you’ve already tried resetting your password and that the reset email isn’t arriving.

As you may know, if emails from your old address are being forwarded to your current one, the easiest way to regain access is by resetting your password.

 

Unfortunately, we’re not able to transfer projects on your behalf. However, our support team can help manually update the email address associated with the account.
