The "Add a Make kit by default" (Manage Make kits for an organization – Figma Learn - Help Center) function has stopped working.It is configured correctly, but when creating a new Make file, the kit is not loaded automatically. 

Currently, when I make a local component inside of Figma Slides that contains a text layer, even though I can create a text property on the component itself, I cannot link the text contents from the text layer to its parent component. What I am trying to replicate (from Figma’s official Youtube channel)Note how in the text field, it reads “Today’s date”, the contents of the text layer nested in the component.​​​A closer look. What I see in Figma Slides (Design Mode)Selecting the text layer.Selecting the component.Note how I am able to create a text property on the component itself, but not reference that property in the component’s children. What I see inside of Figma Slides (Slide Mode)Selecting the text layer.Selecting the componnet. Conclusion I tried to be as thorough as possible 😭. Hey, guys.I’ve designed a prototype using Figma Make. Now I need to make a lot of small edits and tweaks without burning all of my credits in a blink.However, when I click on “Edit” button and select a component, I get no toolbar or any other route for accessing the source of that component and making changes through code.Even though Figma itself recommends Go to Source edits for saving credits, it seems that this option is missing. Why and how can I fix it?I am and admin of the project, I have a full seat, so permissions should not be the issue.Thanks to anyone willing to help out.

Dears,I have an unpaid invoice for $60.• $20 is the prorated charge for 1 Full seat (July 5 – August 5)• $40 is for Qty 2 Full seats (August 5 – September 5)I only have 1 Full seat on my Professional team. Unfortunately, I accidentally clicked the edit permission option, which seems to have temporarily changed the access level and resulted in a $10 full seat charge.As soon as I noticed the mistake, I immediately removed the edit/full seat access and the user no longer has any editing permission or full seat access to my team. Hello,I'm experiencing a rendering issue with screenshots in Figma that appeared recently without any changes to my settings.Problem: When I place screenshots in my Figma file, they display with unwanted colored boxes overlaid on them in the editor view. Does Figma for Government support requests from IPv6 machines? Testing figma-gov.com with ping6 command did not work:$ ping6 -c 4 figma-gov.comping6: getaddrinfo -- nodename nor servname provided, or not known 

​  Everything on the Claude Desktop side is properly installed and shows as connected — the Figma connector/MCP server is active in Claude Desktop's settings.But the local Dev Mode MCP server in Figma never actually integrates with Claude Desktop. Figma just doesn't pick up the connection — no session starts, nothing happens, even though Claude reports it as connected. Has anyone else run into Figma simply not integrating with Claude Desktop despite the connection showing as active?  ​

I have a button (Component A) that uses variables in a nested component (Component B).Padding and Min-height in the nested component are variables, because we have more than one brand and they use different paddings and button heights The button has 36 variants; 3 Types (Primary, Secondary, Tertiary), 4 States (default/hover/pressed/disabled) e 3 surfaces (default/inverse/brand).Issue: When I change the Variant of the Nested Component, it completely ignores the variables used in the variant: This only happens when it’s a nested component. Otherwise it works as expected.I really don’t want to add variants for every size (XXL, XL, LG, MD, XS & XXS) , because that would be 216 variants to keep track of, instead of 36.

If a text element in an SVG is semi-opaque, Figma switches it to full opacity on import. Here’s an example. Import this SVG and the text “My Opacity Changes!” label is not 50% opacity, it is 100%.<svg width="768" height="650" viewBox="0 0 768 650" fill="none" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg"> <text opacity="0.5" fill="#000" font-family="Lato" font-size="15"> <tspan x="26.8965" y="558.805">My Opacity Changes!</tspan> </text></svg>I our workflows, I set elements in our SVG to opacity=0.01 as a special workaround for this bug: I developed our process to read “0.01” as a flag for “this should be invisible, but Figma can’t handle invisible elements so just treat this element as fully invisible despite being 1% opacity”.But now I can’t even use Figma to edit SVGs with opacity=0.01. We will need to develop a Figma workaround on top of a Figma workaround. 

Why is this happening? For days now, I’ve been having the same problem — the shader isn’t working and isn’t rendering on the canvas. I hope I can get some insight or guidance from the Figma team on how to resolve this issue. Thank you. 

Lately, the copy/paste properties is no longer working with an in-line text. For e.g., if I change color or font-width within a paragraph and want to copy/paste properties/styling to another section of the same paragraph, it is no longer possible. It was such a useful feature to save time while formatting text. Is it a known bug? or a permanent change? Has anyone found a good workaround for this? Thanks

I’m not sure if this is a bug or just the current logic for Make, but I wanted to flag an issue with how the interface handles credit limits.Currently, once a user runs out of AI credits, the entire prompt box is disabled—including the Point and Edit option. While I understand the need to gate AI-generated features, Point and Edit allows for manual changes that don’t actually cost credits. By locking the whole box, users lose access to manual text editing and the ability to jump directly to specific code views.The Request: If this isn't a bug, could we treat this as a feature request? It would be great if the Point and Edit mode remained active even after credits are exhausted. This would allow users to continue making manual updates and navigating the code without being completely locked out of the workflow.
