Hi, I've encountered a problem: when I access Figma from my project through its mcp server, after a while I hit the request limit and am asked to wait 3-4 days. This happens despite me specifying which nodes to look for. How can I solve this problem? And how figma will fix it in the time of using different ai mcp’s

Hi @EliM

I understand that you hit the limit while using the Figma MCP server.

The rate limits for the Figma MCP server are based on your Figma plan and seat type:

• Pro plan (Full seat): Up to 200 tool calls per day
• Starter plan: Up to 6 tool calls per month

These rate limits apply to Figma MCP server tools that read data from Figma, and unfortunately, we're unable to provide exceptions to these limits.

If you're consistently hitting the rate limits, we encourage you to slow down your requests.
You can find more detailed information here: Figma Developers > Figma MCP Server > Q&A > Plans, access, and permissions

After checking the linked developer documentation, if you believe you shouldn't be hitting these limits based on your usage patterns, could you please provide more details about what calls you're making and tools you're using when you get rate limited?

This information will help us connect you with the appropriate team to investigate further.

Thanks,
