On desktop I usually zoom in/out fluidly using cmd/ctrl+scroll. I was disappointed to learn this combination is not working on the new iPad Pro Magic Keyboard. Everything else in the Figma browser app works great on iPad except this one thing, and it’s a huge part of my workflow! Pressing Ctrl/Cmd +/- to zoom each time is pretty annoying. I see other posts asking for pinch zoom with trackpad, which is probably harder to implement on a iPad browser. Surely implementing Cmd+scroll can’t be that hard, can it?

I’ve had a similar problem in the past, and after searching for a solution, I turned to mobile development solutions for advice. They helped me understand how to navigate Figma’s limitations on tablets and provided guidance on optimizing my workflow for mobile. Their insights saved me a lot of time
Unfortunately, Figma's browser version might not yet support this functionality on iPadOS, as it's more optimized for desktop devices with full keyboard and trackpad support. However, you can try using the Zoom In/Out shortcut with Cmd/Ctrl + '+' and Cmd/Ctrl + '-' as a workaround in the meantime. Another option could be using the Figma app on iPad if available, as it might have better support for touch gestures like pinch-to-zoom
