I'm trying to publish my design system, but I keep seeing this message:"Publishing Failed: Please reload the page to publish."I’ve reloaded the page multiple times and also tried reopening the Figma app, but the issue persists. Could you please help me resolve this? 

Hi everyone,I really need some help with a file.After duplicating a project, some of the components stopped working properly.The “Go to main component” option doesn’t appear at all when I click on a button.The only thing I can do is click “Restore component,” which just creates a duplicate of the component in the relative page (very weird to explain). Oddly, this only affects the buttons, other components seem to be working fine.Any quick advice or solution to fix this? Thanks in advance,Lorenzo 

I am trying to change the email associated with another Figma account that I have and receiving an “incorrect password” error whenever I attempt to make the change. Here is what happens, step-by-step:Open ‘Settings’ Select ‘Change email’ Type in requested info: ‘New email’ and ‘Confirm password’ Click ‘Submit’ button Form does not submit and a red pop-up appears at the top of the page: ‘You entered an incorrect password.’I have double-checked that I am using the correct password and even updated it just in case.

When will figma make be available?

Hi everyone,I’ve just started experimenting with the new Grids auto layout beta version. How do I get this square rectangle block to go from edge to edge of the webpage? I’ve added 10px padding either side of the webpage grid, however everytime I extend it, it snaps to the auto grid? I would like this to extend past the grid to the very edge!I’ve tried holding down shift and drag, however this creates another frame on top of the existing webpage frame and it needs to all be within one frame. 

Hi there,While applying after delay animations it works fine when viewing in web version but in figma mirror app it doesn't shows the after delay animation.. it this a bug or what am went went wrong,,, any suggestion's…?

After the new update I am unable to copy the gradient. Before I had to just select the shape/element which had the gradient I wanted, I would press ctrl+c and the gradient properties were copied and then I had to just paste it into the desired shape bt ctrl+vBut I am unable to do this now, is there a new way of doing this or Figma has gotten rid of this property?

 In Light mode I can easily see which component is selected. But on dark mode it is a bit harder.

I am able to access my Library variables when editing object details: But when I try to use the Set Variable function in an interaction, I can only choose local variables: This problem seems to be limited to the Set Variable function; when I am creating conditionals I can access Library variables just fine:  

Hey there, I’m running into library publishing failure and am hoping someone can offer a solution.  Context:The library is a design system file that has successfully published as recently as the afternoon fri, 2/28 (today is tue, 3/4) The file memory usage is only 7%, and laptop has 50% available memory The system contains atomic and simple molecular components with variant properties, and local variables for text and color I have triple checked the entire file for conflicting component properties and/or nested instances that might cause loops – it’s possible I missed something, but the library was publishing until a few days ago The last changes I made before publishing began to fail was to apply semantic color variables to icons however, I had successfully published updates with those variables to other components previously, so can’t imagine this is the culprit The file has 87 changes to publish, with 0 conflicting instances. Hi! I was able to publish my library without any issues this morning, but now I'm getting the error message: "Publishing failed: Please reload the page to publish."I've tried reloading the page, quitting Figma, restarting my laptop, and confirming my network connection, but nothing seems to work. I've been using this file for over a year and have never encountered this issue before.  

I've been meaning to share this for a while now, especially with anyone who has been contemplating about having bespoke Vida Veneers Custom-Made but doesn't know where to start. A few months ago, I was in the same boat, going through reviews, looking at before-and-after photographs, and second-guessing every selection. But I'm really glad I eventually did it.

Most of the time, I use the auto layout with first on top because I have to put dropdowns on my input fields. I have to keep changing it to first on top, because you guys made it automatically last on top for the first time setting auto layout. Can you tell me why? Or if you may, can you guys change it to first on top. That would be nice. Thanks,Rashad

SituationI’m using a component with 3 variants (default, hover, filled) as an interactive checkbox, designed in a design system file. There are no interactions in the MPC component in the design system file, only in the prototype file. This component is used on multiple screens in a prototype (a question flow with selectable answers). ProblemWhen I click an answer (switching the component to the “filled” variant), that state carries over to the same component instance on the next screen — even though I haven’t interacted with it there. So it should be in default state. Figma appears to remember the variant state globally, not per screen, which breaks the logic of my prototype. This becomes a serious problem when only one answer should be selected: if all options appear as “selected” due to previous interactions, the user can’t proceed in the flow anymore. This prototype is being tested on a fairly large scale, so we need reliable behavior. With the recent Figma config and features it introduced, I feel figma isnt really interested in introducing newer features for UX Designers. I have this opinion based on Figma introduced Figma Make, where it can build and iterate websites based on a prompt (Feature targeted towards a general public rather than a UX Designer) Breakpoints in Figma Sites and not in Figma File (Figma introduced breakpoints for Figma Sites where we can design and publish in actual websites) but did not introduce the feature in actual Figma files which many have asked for. (As if Figma is trying to tease, we can do it, but we won't as we don't think UI design is persist for long) First Draft (First draft is where it would have been helpful if instead of a default library, they could have added a feature where we could add our own library) Again here they did not improve upon it, rather made huge advancements in Figma Make, which is targeted toward a general audience. What do you guys think, am I right?

Hi figpals,I'm creating an icon, and this issue has been bothering me lately. Right now, the only way to solve it is with a hack. I know there are ways to fix it, but I really need to avoid repeating this workaround in a loop. If there's a way to prevent me from having to do this hack over and over again, it would be a huge help.So here's the case:First, i create an icon (absolutely) like below:What I want to ask is about focusing on a selected object. I’m using an inside stroke for icon weight, which makes it easier to control the size measurements and set the radius for each corner.Then, to finalize, I need to vectorize the stroke using the “Outline Stroke” feature. And here’s what happens:A line appeared at the bottom, and what’s even stranger is that it only shows there. But when I enter edit mode, it looks like this:There is a visible line right there, so I tried to remove it as shown below:But this is what I ended up with: It removes the area right next to it, which keeps frustra

This is super scummy. Does anybody know where we can complain in the Eu about it? Maybe people would like to jump on a groups case against Figma. This is so low. I’ve been buying my motnhly single user subscription (18e), this month they charged me for 8 people + 5 FigJam seats. Lol, nobody asked for this, they did this on their own. This is mega unprofessional and scammy.

Hello Figma Community, I was really happy to learn that figma enables with the new update to write on a vector path.However, it is quite annoying, that it is not easily possible to edit the path after I put the text on it. If I double click, I just can edit the text. Sometimes I manage to edit the path, but I don’t know how to get there. I am thankful for your help.

Hi! Industrial Designer turned UX Designer now.Is there a way to make a circular/ring slider in Figma? I see many tutorials for automatic/animated progress rings but I can’t seem to find how to make an actual user-controlled ring slider. I am also not referring to a linear/bar slider - however, this circle slider would interact just like a bar slider but move in a circle.Attached here, you’ll see what I’m referring to. For instance, you see these slider rings in various apps where you can set the time, temperature or some other kind of parameter with your finger by dragging the length of the highlighted circle/ring. Any help or direction to a tutorial showing this is much appreciated!!

There have been many times when I hide an icon from the right or left of a button, it has a purple box around it. Please check this.

Hi, I can’t remove the template from the list in the Template and tools. It also appears in the dialogue window when creating new figma slides presentation. The template was unpublished by droping to the drafts folder *unpublish confirmed”. Any ideas how to make the template disappear from the lists?

I am not able to open a few of my Figma files. The files are around 8-10 mb. IT just keep trying to import but never loads. Is there any alternate way to open/import my fig files? This is a blocker. I need to think twice now before using Figma in future.Any help will be greatly appreciated. ThanksKed

I have created a design system for a mobile app in a Figma file (lets call it A). Also, my project files are also in the same Figma files but in different pages.. Now the problem is, my Figma file is getting heavier and sometimes, it takes too much time to load. I tried publishing the design system (lets call it B), but every time I call a component, it directs me to the main components in the design system  A. Where am I doing wrong? and what is the solution to publish the design system so that my current components sync with it (B), and not with the A.

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my variable list, particularly as it pertains to a drop-down menu I want to create. Below you can see the screenshot of the list (with the placeholder text “Button”). I’m trying to replace the placeholder text with the String variable I created “Grocery”. I want to replace all the placeholder text as well.Figma isn’t letting me replace the placeholder text with my desired variable. I’m not sure how else I can replace the text because there’s no option to do so manually. Hoping someone can help with regards to this.
