It's so nerve-racking. :(
Hi I’m facing exactly the same problems than @af2cb64c_8cb4
Is it possible to fall back to previous august 7th previous update for Figma Desktop to check if that issues are caused by that update ?
Hey @af2cb64c_8cb4 @Mara52 - I just had a conversation with @Thomas_Marget1 in a separate topic he created, and it sounds like things started working as expected again. I wanted to check to see if either you are still experiencing issues.
If so, I’d like to get you some escalated case if this is the case. Let me know when you have time!
The events of the last days lead me to ask myself this question :
Is it possible that use of a VPN could make troubles ?
Cause during my working routine day, I need to change several time of mirror server or disable VPN. Could it impact my Figma workspaces ?
Regards
Hey @ksn — we are working with the support team concerning this issue right now. Since we fixed all the bugs, everything seems to be working now. I’m still wondering though: how did this issue actually happen, and is there a way we can prevent something similar from happening again? Honestly I don’t fully trust it yet since we’re facing more and more issues day by day. For example, since when can’t we define lines when truncated text is active?
Hey @af2cb64c_8cb4 - first, sorry for the delay in response here (I had been away). I understand the weariness; every aspect you mentioned (autolayout, text, library updates) are integral to designs for everyone on Figma. With that, I will admit I’m not privy enough to give you solid answers.
I do see, however, hat your conversation with Anju seemed seemed to address your concerns before I returned. Are there any other notes you’d like for me to pass her way? I can note them for her, or you can still reply to the ticket you have open.
@ksn Thank you! The support ticket is still active and we’ll see how things progress. I really appreciate your support here and for checking in. So far, the behavior remains a bit of a mystery and unfortunately can’t be reproduced. Hopefully, it won’t happen again.
