Hello,my team was suddenly changed to an education plan. I don't remember that I would change it.Can I ask, how to change it? Or it would be best if I could keep it, because I am a student, but right now, I graduated high school, and in two months, I will attend college, so "currently", I am not a student. Plus I am from the Czech Republic, and neither my high school or college is on the list, and I don't know which proofs I should send.Thanks for the help.

Hello people Is there any smart way of refactoring components? Some context here: we’re about to give the design a boost and this will change many of the components in the library. The smartest way would be if the components are build with only tokens/variables but they are not so i need to find another way. I would love to do it this way: Build a Button_new with the new look so you can manually change it to that component (or make a property for it true/false) Change the old button with the new buttonThe problem i have with it that when i do that (by changing its name) the change doesn’t go through the component on my canvas. Anyone can help?

I recently deleted my old Figma account after transferring ownership of all my important files to my new account. However, the files are no longer showing up in the new account. How can I restore them?

I’ve discovered a few minor issues that would really help improve my workflow. At my company, we use version history to save older versions of projects and keep the file cleaner. This way, we can share the link to an older version if someone wants to review a project that was completed a while ago.However, I’ve noticed that these links often don’t work properly. When you click on them inside a Figma comment, they don’t load correctly. I ran a few tests and found that the link only works if I manually find the version again in the list and copy the link from there. Apparently, saving the link in a chat or document breaks it and it doesn’t load for others.Alongside this, I realized how painful it is not having a search feature in version history. Even after disabling the “Show auto-saved versions” option, it still shows versions I didn’t save manually, which makes it harder to find the ones that matter. 

I have sent several support requests to Figma on their forms but have received no response or acknowledgement of my questions. Team was deleted by mistake. Help to restore a deleted team. The recovery message did not arrive in the mail.

Hi all, I’ve been running into a scroll position issue since state management was introduced. I have a page with various buttons, and when selected, opens an overlay. These overlays have scrollable content on them, allowing the user to view the content. If the content has been scrolled and the overlay closed, when reopening the overlay the scroll position hasn’t been reset. I have the option to ‘reset scroll position’ on the button-to-overlay interaction, but this resets the main page and there is no 'reset scroll position on the ‘close overlay’ menu interaction. I ran a test there the overlay was treated as a new page (so ‘navigate to’ instead of ‘open overlay’) and the ‘back’ interaction on the overlay has the option to reset and behaves as expected. What am I doing wrong? I know the state management setup indicates that layers need to be named the same, but this is to maintain scroll position. I need to reset the scroll position on the overlay once it has been closed. Thanks

My overlay disappears when I set a Boolean to false on a different object. I have a “more” icon on a page. When that icon is clicked is opens an inline action menu by setting the action menu visible boolean to “true”. On the inline action menu, when clicked it opens an overlay. I have two “Click” actions on the inline actions menu. One to open the overlay and a second to reset the inline action menu visible boolean to “false”, to hide the action menu. That second action hides the menu and the overlay. That is a bug, that I now need to work around.

Where is the button to delete my community/forum account and/or posts? And no, deleting my community profile from the design interface didn’t work.

Zscaler is blocking Figma desktop application in the office network. But the same is accessible through browser in the same network. I tried adjusting the registry settings suggested in the Figma help center. But unfortunately it didn't work. Even the IT team is not able to figure out the issue. Please help to resolve this. Any suggested settings or adjustments need to be done? 

I have probably read all the answers regarding slow file issues however this is not something I have seen before and none of those answers I read solved my issue.I was trying to create another color mode in the variables, I hit duplicate on the last one and it took Figma forever to create a duplicate of the mode. While I was waiting I hit the button again, and after about 10-15 minutes 2 modes were created, the last one however looked like it was uneditable.I tried to delete one and every time I did that Figma froze. I tried everything from restarting my computer to shutting and restarting, clearing browser and app cache, logging out of my account both on browser and desktop, force quitting and clearing the cache on terminal, deleting figma and reinstalling. Is I forgot anything else I probably tried that too.Nothing, Figma froze every time  tried to delete. Finally, I asked my colleague to go in and do it for me. Done in a second. And I don’t think this is a slow computer issue becaus

Hi,I thought drafts were private until you put them in a team or share with someone.I realized that every time i create a draft, who can access section is “Anyone in my team” by default.What does that mean? Do i have to change my drafts to “only me”  every time i create a draft? So confusing. Thank you  

Hi,I have the dev mode access and I am trying to select the frame from the layer section but I am not able to have the selection persistent.As soon as I select the frame the selection of the mock and frame from the layers section sync and within the blink of an eye before even making any other interaction my selection goes away and I don’t get to use properties, links and assets options.I am using the followingVisual Studio code version: 1.101.2OS: Windows_NT x64Figma version: 0.4.1

Hello, We are using Components. We have create Page 1 and added all our master components in one section.Now, we want to create a duplicate of that page. The problem is that our Components are still linked on the components on Page 1 instead of Page 2. Is there a way to automatically relink them based on the Components that exist on the same page?

Hi everyone,We’ve run into a strange issue with one of our Figma files: when we open the document, several layers randomly appear invisible. The only way to bring them back is to go through each layer, toggle its visibility, or click on it—yet some still refuse to re-render.Does anyone know what might be causing this? We wondered if it’s a rendering glitch, but the file isn’t particularly heavy. Any suggestions for a less tedious fix would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

I'm developing an image-related plugin for Figma. Since this plugin allows users to upload many images at once, the speed of loading images is crucial. When there are many images on the canvas, the images are loading slowly. My plugin can generate images in bulk - it can instantly create over 100 images and potentially generate more than 1000 images. I anticipate this could be inconvenient when other people join or when someone closes and reopens the document, as these images would load slowly.In my testing, I tried reducing the image size itself and decreasing the image file size before placing them on the canvas, but this didn't significantly reduce the time it takes to load the images.Is there any API, setting, or option available in Figma plugins that can help speed up the loading of images that are already placed on the Figma canvas?

I’m looking to create this scenario:a sticky header (title bar in this example) that’s responsive if the screen width increases (e.g. dragging the outer frame) that also stays in front of the content below it when scrolledHowever, I can only seem to be able to be able to achieve the first two - see screenshots below. Is this scenario possible and if so how? Hello everyone!I'm facing an issue with interactive components and icons in Figma.I’ve created a button component that includes an icon (e.g., a camera icon) and some text, all wrapped in an Auto Layout. The default state of the icon is a line version, and on hover, I want it to switch to a filled version of the same icon. This works fine when using the default camera icon — I’ve set up the component so that the hover state changes both the icon and the button's background color.The problem arises when I use an instance of this button and swap the icon (for example, from camera-line to pencil-line). When I preview the design in Presentation mode, the hover interaction still changes the icon back to the camera-filled icon, instead of showing the filled version of the new icon (e.g., pencil-filled).I believe this is happening because the hover state is tied specifically to the camera icon, not a generic slot that supports swapping both line and fill icons as variants.Here's how I've stru
