Hi, Shapes disappears when flattening.See images for before and after + design panel. Occurs on desktop app and browser (chrome). Tabs have been reloaded, figma has been reset and cookies deleted.Behaviour is the same. On a windows machine. Any thoughts? 

When Variables was released I created some collections for testing. Since then I settled on a final version but the old deleted collections still appear in the page/layer selection on the right panel. The same is happening to deleted modes.

Hi All!Am using Figma desktop for Mac version 124.7.4.  I have a rather large file with tons of named frames that I’ve been iterating on for quite a while.  When I try to create a simple Navigate To interaction, the list of frames for selection is long and unsorted.  It’s getting impossible to find my desired target in that list and I cannot easily just drag a noodle as the canvas is vast.Is there a way to re-sort that list (alphabetically in ascending order would be great!) or at least search by frame name?  Or is this a feature request and not a bug?Here is a fraction of the frame list for selection with a “Navigate to” interaction”.  In it, you can see that the list is not alphabetically sorted. 

I had created a mock using Figma make for a project and I’ve shared the interactive prototype page’s link with others, until yesterday (17th July) i was and others were able to access the page and interact with it, but today when i open the same link it’s redirecting me to a static page where the UI is shown inside a box and I’m not able to interact with it whatsoever. Is anyone else facing this? Should I rebuild or try some other ways to get my prototype out!!

Hello, I recently created several components using existing dimension variables in my file. Now, I would like to reorganize my dimension variables and replace those applied in my components with new variables.Is there a plugin or method that allows me to replace “variable-1” with “variable-2,” for example, in batches and across multiple pages?If you know of a way to do this, please let me know, as it would save me a lot of time ! 😅

Hi all.Could please somebody to explain to me, how to expose properties from a nested components? So I’ve created two simple components, basically just text fields: component 1component 2 Now I group them and create a component from that group. The I expose properties from nested components:   I can see the `Nested instances` now lists the components. But where their properties? `Properties` is still empty...

Hey lovely peeps! Could someone enlighten me why section nodes are missing the strokes and strokeStyleId properties? I clearly can add a stroke to a section via UI. But the api seems to hide strokes for all nodes of type SECTION. I also checked the documentation but couldn’t find anything alike. Am I missing here something? Will this be added to the api in the near future? Cheers 👋

Hi all,As shown in the attached image, I'd like to rename the text boxes in the template so that, when I create a spreadsheet to merge data, the column headers match contextually.For example, instead of generic names like "Text 2" or "Text 3", I’d prefer to rename them to something more meaningful—such as “Name” and “Job Role”.Could anyone advise on the best way to do this?Thanks!

Hi there!When I change the width property to hug contents of a textbox, the height property is changed to hug contents (from fixed height (via variable) too - why does this apply? Is this by design or buggy behaviour? To me it would make sense to support this as the (text) overflow can be absorbed by a horizontally growing text box, no?

Google doesn’t want to properly index my Figma Sites site and I was wondering - is there a way to add a sitemap in plain text/html as there is no CMS yet? It’s been two weeks since I’ve published our company’s new website and it’s still indexing the old site that was hosted on the same URL. I’ve sent requests to Google but it’s still not working properly.

There have been persistent performance and memory issues recently with all Figma releases and UI3, to the point where the tool is failing at its core purpose: serving designers effectively. I frequently encounter out-of-memory errors, despite adhering to a specific page organizational structure. The actual number of designs is not large; rather, it’s the use of auto-layout, design system components, and variants that consume significant screen resources.I have tried workarounds such as using plugins like Downsize and deleting pages, but these have not resolved the problem. This issue needs to be addressed urgently as it is severely impacting productivity.

Hello,When using the text tool, I'm unable to get text to manually hard return, or skip to next line when hitting enter. I have text with hard returns in document that I previously created on both Windows and Apple computers, but even those blocks of text will not hard return when the cursor is placed inside when using browser on fairly new Samsung Android tablet. Text returns work in other applications (google docs, notes, web forms, etc) Any suggestions?

I’m trying to create a button, using my variables for correct coloring on themes. My actionable icon hover is connected and showing up correctly However, when I place this component in the button lock up - the surface/default changes from light to dark - even though no variables modes are set on the component/frame/or section. No variable modes applied (on component/frame/or section) And I know this is true since my actionable icons component lives within the same frame & section and is appearing as wanted How do I fix this? Please help

Hi there, Im wondering if someone can assist me? Im finding in Figma Make (which is awesome btw!) whilst working on a prototype - that previous areas I’ve completed and snagged and moved on from - when I revisit have been overwritten or reverted to older versions. Something small like a font colour change is prompting entire sections to be rewritten - often missing features or menus that would have been there previously. Is there anyway to stop areas from being rewritten or prompts I could use to stop areas being touched? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. 

After going through all of the topics related to this and disabling all of the guides, grids, slices, etc. from the main menu, these lines will not go away. These lines even show in the export of both PNG and the code export to Anima (shown as css in their export). Why would any component lines or guides from the working tool be shown in the export? Am I missing something?My Main Menu, everything disabled. 

I have created a badge inside Figma, and it consists of two elements. The background element is positioned at x:0, y:0, and the foreground element is centrally positioned in respect to the foreground element. Both elements are using integer values for positioning.When I go to the export menu I get the following error messages:Origin not aligned to pixels.Origin snapped to (-5, -16).Dimensions may expand by a pixel.I get those messages regardless whether I'm exporting as PNG or SVG.When I export the work as a PNG everything from Figma gets preserved on that PNG image, but the problem starts s when I export the work as an SVG. When I do export it as an SVG file and I open it in Inkscape or I use it as a component on the website, it gets messed up. The gradient from the badge does not get preserved, the edges become rough, and it doesn’t look like an SVG element but rather as a low quality jpeg file. Then I have created a completely new file in Figma and draw a triangle shape inside. After exporting my figma file as code and I run it on my desktop, it's should full screen and the contents are in the middle. I want it to be fit with the contents.

Hello,I am new to Figma and have encountered a problem: one of my devices does not have a Prototype panel.I have two devices: a home device with a Prototype tab near the Design tab and a work device without it. Even when I go to Figma > View > Panels, I don't see the «Open prototype panel» button, which is available on my home device.I tried reinstalling Figma, but that didn't help.This button was there previously, before the last update

I’m encountering some issues with Figma; regardless of whether the file has many pages or few, the operations are very laggy. I’ve tried changing my network and using a VPN, but neither has made a significant difference. What should I try now?

The system sent me an annual invoice, but our team has frequent personnel changes, so an annual billing plan is not suitable for us. Also, we don’t need 12 design seats. I would like to switch to a monthly billing plan, but I couldn’t find a way to do this on my own, so I contacted customer support via email. However, I still haven’t received any help or resolution so far.
