The variables panel has broken completely for me. It’s not possible to select or collaps/expand groups. I think the expand/collapse has broken, when I select a group in the left pane it doesn’t seem to register that the above group has been collapsed and it still selects something in that collapsed group as if it was open instead of selecting the group I’m actually clicking. Effectively I cannot work with my variables atm. at all- please fix asap, it’s holding up alot of work for me.

Today my variables are not showing correctly.

1. The parent variable in a collection does not collapse using the arrow
2. Variables that should be numbers are now showing as colours (possibly related to issues 1)

I have reset cache
Closed the app
Reinstalled the app


I have the same issue.

Hey everyone, thanks for flagging this! Our team has identified the issue and we’re actively working on a fix right now.

In the meantime, as a workaround you can search for the variable group you are trying to open in the top right of the variables window - for example like this (but change these to the names of the groups you are searching for): Group/Nested Group

 

We really appreciate your patience while we get this sorted! 


I notice this problem yesterday - when you restart a figma, sometimes it works, but right nów there is no option to work with tokens
