"Import from Figma" in Figma Make is useless

Am I the only one who is totally confused as how the “Import from Figma” dialog window in Figma Make works? It shows only some files but not others, don’t know why. The text search is completely random IMO and you’re not able to select a specific page or a frame in the file - it just selects some random frame from a file.

Why cannot I just browse all my projects and select a particular file and frame?

From what I understood, selecting the design through this dialog is somehow superior to just copying and pasting a particular frame into the prompt. Figma Make is then able to extract more detailed information. Copying & pasting is just like a screenshot, I guess?

    Hey everyone! I’ve for the following update from the team: 

     

    Giving Figma Make a design (instead of an image or screenshot) will get the best results. To do this, you can either paste the frame directly from a Figma Design file into the prompt box or search for it via the Import from Figma modal. Both will work the same way!
