Hey everyone,I've been experiencing a persistent bug with the Scale tool (K) that's significantly interrupting my workflow.Here's how it normally works and where the bug occurs: Expected Behavior (Working as intended): I press K to activate the Scale tool. I scale the object. I press Escape or Enter to apply the changes. The tool works perfectly. The Bug: I press K to activate the Scale tool. I scale the object. Instead of pressing Enter/Escape, I click anywhere else on the canvas to deselect the object or shift focus. (This is where I suspect the tool enters a 'limbo' state; the panel reverts to normal, but the scale tool isn't properly closed, even though this behavior worked fine previously.) When I then try to use the Scale tool (K) again on any object, the anchor point squares (the small boxes that control the scaling origin) turn grey, and the tool completely stops functioning. I am the owner of the file. The file was originally stored in the team's project. It seems that it was moved to a personal project by a former employee (not sure), but the employee is no longer in the company. Although the file can still be opened and edited, it cannot be located and cannot be moved.We have tried all the accounts in the attached picture. We want to return the file to the correct location, but we cannot move it.

Is it possible with the Figma API to get the json of a file from a specific branch

Hi everyone, I’m working as a Design System Designer in a large organization, and I’m setting up a starter Figma file that Product Designers can duplicate to begin their work immediately, with all the correct libraries already activated (core components, design tokens, etc.). The goal is simple: designers should be able to duplicate this starter file and start working without having to reconfigure or manually activate libraries. I created the starter file in a shared team project and made sure the required libraries were activated. However, when someone duplicates the file (via right-click > Duplicate or Duplicate to Drafts), all the library connections are lost. Designers then have to go to the Assets panel and re-enable the libraries manually, which is exactly what I’m trying to avoid. I also tried:  Placing the starter file in a shared project and giving “Can view” access → duplication still loses the libraries. Publishing the file publicly in Community is not an option for int

But this time is caused serious damage as a test version was released in a whole company and was pulled (in parts) automatically from design files (I don’t even know how this is possible lol)Does anybody had similiar experiences and found a way to prevent this?Branches are not a big hekp in this to be honest.

I have one Figma file that includes multiple projects.Each project has its own set of variables and design tokens.I noticed that even when I use different collections and scopes, the tokens are still visible across the entire file.Is there a way to completely separate or hide variables between projects inside the same file?Or should I create separate files/libraries for each project to manage them cleanly? 

Hi, I have an issue with the “inter” font.On figma, Inter Regular (font-weight: 400) looks bolder on a desktop.If I apply the Inter Light (font-weight: 300) from google font on my desktop, then it corresponds to my Inter Regular on figma.Can you help me rename my font within figma so it’s easier for our devs to pick the right parameter?  Thanks!

Hi folks, I'm experiencing an issue that's been blocking my workflow for the past week.Here’s what’s happening: I’m trying to connect multiple libraries containing design tokens and components to a new, empty design file. When I open the Manage Libraries window and search for "OTUS" (the name of our design system), only one library appears in the search results — despite the fact that we have 25 libraries named using the convention “OTUS | Element → Buttons”, “OTUS | Element → Inputs”, etc. This used to work just a couple of weeks ago, and all libraries were searchable and available. I’ve tried: Unpublishing and republishing the libraries Renaming the libraries But none of that helped. Do you have any idea what might be causing this, or how I can restore visibility for all libraries?Thanks in advance for your help!

You know this feature to let AI replace the content when duplicating a frame several times? Good stuff! But is there a way to prevent the AI from trying to replace certain text layers?

Figma is automatically adding in the Apple UI Kit, even though this library is NOT attached to the original file I’m making a copy of.  ORIGINAL FILE DOESN’T HAVE THE LIBRARY COPY HAS THE LIBRARY ADDED It even adds it automatically to NEW files too? How can you stop this madness? There isn’t an option under the UI Kits to add/remove or stop this?

When I used to copy-paste links to our (publicly available) ticketing system onto the FigJam board, it showed them as cards with headers, so I could easily cluster them on the board and find them via text search.But now it doesn’t seem to work anymore, all links just show up as links.On the screenshot below you see links added previously show up as cards, and newly added links showing up as just links.Did something change in FigJam, or is it somehow related to our ticketing system? 

I've seen some posts about this problems but no good solutions that work for me, so I repost this from other user again. I just reused his topic and video, please help if anyone knows the solution for mac ios, I am working on this issue for some days as a new designer.

 I think it’s from somewhere of view settings of Figma since these purple rectangles didn't show up when i firstly made the whole design. it’s can’t be moved by hands either… and only this file has this issue
