dear, I have been trying to contact support without success in the last weeks.  I am not able to reverify my Education institution. The reason of it is because, in order to reverify, I am redirected to a google form. Nevertheless, our Figma account is not connected with Google and then I am not able to fill the form. What should I do on this situation? We cannot lost the access to Figma now.

Hi!I’ve run into Connection Error 118 when I was trying to rum Figma Desktop App. I still can work from Firefox. But Chrome also doesn’t respond. I’ve tried cleaning cache and rebooting router but none of these worked. Can you give some advice how to fix this? 

Hi everyone,I'm developing an app feature that requires importing a Figma file and its nodes to create a hierarchy navigation tree. The goal is to register user clicks and analyze data from the Figma prototype.My process involves traversing all possible nodes to identify those with navigation actions.I'm running into a significant issue with large Figma files containing hundreds of thousands of nodes. When I try to process these files, I frequently hit the API rate limit and receive a 429 "Too Many Requests" error.I've already tried a few things: I switched from fetching the entire file at once to fetching nodes individually. This helped with smaller files, but the 429 error still occurs with complex designs. I've checked the Figma API documentation and am aware of the rate limits, but the volume of my requests doesn't seem to exceed the typical per-minute limit. This suggests the issue might be related to the sheer size or complexity of the file itself, rather than just the number o

I’ll be leaving my organization soon. Before I leave, I want to make sure that everyone in my Figma org can continue working off of files that I own. I’m not an admin either. I also want to make sure that current viewers of my files who do not hold Figma seats can also retain access to my files. How do I do this? Would it be as simple as moving all my files into a new Project shared by the rest of the team? Thank you.

Hello,This is a bug I stumbled on today and which has apparently been reported multiple times and AFAIK not resolved.I think I found the issue  and solution:Steps oo reproduce the bug :adds an image to figma crop it using the crop mode of the image export the result as a 1x PNG, no changes to export settings load the result in figma and compare it to how it looked in figma before the exportResult: it looks like it went through x0.5 downscale (blurry) then re-upscaled x2 with some sharpening. So it has the same resolution but it looks aweful.Expected result: should look the same as it did before export.Extra tests I did if someone @figma is interested:I checked that the cropping was indeed on the grid. Also tried to force the cropping to be between pixels and that did not change anything. manually resetting the cropping to the exact border of the original image made it export fine again.Solution for other users until the crop feature get fixed if ever:adds your image to your figma Frame

Hi, I need help recovering access to my Figma files. My Figma account was linked to my university email (example@university.edu), which has been deactivated after graduation without notice. I can no longer log in, and all my design files (3+ years of work) are stuck there.I have a personal Figma account (example@gmail.com) and would love to transfer the files there if possible. I have tried to reverify for education plan in Figma. Figma had asked me to submit my Passport or other identifications. After Some attempts, I came to know that they have blocked me for further submission. Need a solution on it.]

Hi, I have this issue in multiple Figma files. If I move frames with comments to another page, the comments still appear on the original page whenever the file is opened. The comments only disappear when navigating to the “moved” page and navigating back.This is really cumbersome because often the page in which frames with comments are moved to is a very large page which takes a long time to load. Also, engineers who are working off of the original page get confused about the comments that were moved and are not relevant to them.

I have Foundation, Alias and Mapped collections in my Variables panel. I have Light and Dark mode for all collections. For dark mode Alias, they can have Foundation dark mode as source. Dark mode Mapped can have dark mode Alias as source. 1 Strange workflowWhat I find.. is that when I want to pick a dark mode Foundation or dark mode Alias colour for my dark mode Mapped set… They are not available. I have to select a layer in my artboard, that is set to using dark mode… → Then I will have the dark mode colours available for selection inside my Variables panel. This is a very convoluted and cumbersome workflow for setting the dark mode colours that I want to use. Question 1 : Is this an intended workflow from Figma? How, with a short cut key can I see all the short cuts? In the UI it is specified as Ctrl+Shift+? but that only works on US International keyboards. It would be ok-ish that it doesn't but in that case it should not say so in at least two locations in the UI.  

I signed up for Figma using my school-issued email address and have attempted the student verification process twice. Unfortunately, both attempts were unsuccessful(I don’t know why.. I submitted my school ID photo), and now I receive a message saying that I have exceeded the verification attempt limit.I contacted SheerID for assistance, but they informed me that they are unable to help further. Therefore, I am reaching out here to request direct support from the Figma team.Could you please reset my verification attempts so I can submit the correct documents? If that is not possible, may I try the student verification again using a different email address that is not my school email?I need Figma Education for my coursework this semester, so I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

I am working on a project with my uni friends and this only pops up on mine. I can’t edit anymore(I could few weeks ago). This has never happened before, my friends use the free plan as well.

After a recent Windows update, I’ve been unable to log in to the Figma Desktop app. Each time I attempt to sign in, I receive the message: “Your login session has expired.”Here are the steps I have already tried: Uninstalled and reinstalled both the stable and beta versions of the Figma Desktop app. Manually deleted leftover files in AppData. Ended the FigmaAgent process and restarted. Reinstalled Microsoft WebView2 Runtime (installer reports it is already installed). Checked Windows Defender settings, including Controlled Folder Access (currently disabled). Despite these attempts, the issue persists. The browser version of Figma works without any problems, but the desktop app will not allow login.Could you please advise if there is a way to fully reset or repair WebView2, or provide a recommended fix for this issue?Thank you in advance for your support.Best regards,

Hello, I have an issue with my prototype. I set intercations to switch from one page to another, everything works well, but when I add an overlay to make a header appear different from the main one, which opens in scroll when you scroll down, it works but the other interactions no longer work. Why? How to solve this? Thank you!

There is a critical bug: when a Frame has the Draggable effect enabled, it’s not possible to assign a click action (for example, navigating to a new page) to the contents of that frame.

Hi Figma community,I'm designing a long scrollable screen within an iPhone 16 frame (H:852px). My content extends beyond the bottom of the frame, but I cannot scroll in Prototype preview.I was advised to select the frame and find the ​​"Constraints"​​ section in the right-hand Design panel, then change the setting from ​​"No scrolling"​​ to ​​"Vertical scrolling"​​.​​However, I cannot locate this "Constraints" setting at all in my panel.​​ My panel mainly shows style options like fill, stroke, and effects.Could you please guide me on how to find or reveal this option?
