Dynamic colors in design system kit

Hello,
I've created a design system kit for my team, with all reusable components. I made the colors as variables and created primitives and tokenized them. 

But when someone add the design system kit as a library in their project, how can they make the components (and their variants) take the colors of their project - not keep the colors of the design system kit?
