Soy nuevo en el programa y tengo poco conocimiento respecto a como usar el programa. Sin embargo estoy tomando un curso por medio de Udemy el cual me esta ayudando a conocer las herramientas de FIGMA. en este momento tengo una duda respecto a las variables, pues al seleccionar un grupo de variables y querer duplicarlo no me permite realizar la acción y tengo que crear un nuevo grupo de manera manual, en lugar de duplicarlo. si doy doble click o utilizo los comando simplemente no sucede nada y no me arroja opciones. me gustaría saber como puedo solucionarlo o si es una herramienta que ya no esta disponible en el programa 

On the desktop app,  I can open my project. However only the AI chat column is there.  I can't get to the layers panel or anything else.  I've worked on this for 3 hours.  Unistalling and reinstalling. Dragging bars left and right.  Nothing works.  Help!

Organization  A would like to do creative development in the Figma instance for Org A.  When their development is approved, they would then like to move it to Org B’s instance.  Org B is the source of truth for the current production creative.  While Org A will develop in Org A’s Figma, there will also be people directly developing in Org B’s instance.  Org A is not open to using a logically partitioned space on Org B’s instance and must use their own instance.Org A will need a sync of all production creative changes from Org B, so they can ensure they have the current creative to start with.  Is there a way to sync updated files between organizations?Is there anyway to do code versioning and control across the two instances?

Hello,In the color picker and with the eyedropper tool disabled, when I hover the rows of previously used colors, I don’t get the tooltip with the hex value of the color I am about to select. Instead, I get the eyedropper! I remember only a few days ago there was a tooltip there and it was very useful before any selection - the eyedropper doesn’t help at all, it’s like forcing me to choose based on visuals only. I couldn’t find any setting that could possibly have affected this. Any ideas?Thanks

Hi, occasionally I want to give access to members of my membership or to customers. This is usually for simple things like voting on a Figjam board. Do I really have to pay 5 Dollars for each member I give access to a single board for a short moment?

I’m designing a restaurant menu website (similar to a Culver-style menu) in Figma that includes multiple categories, item cards, prices, images, and promotional labels. I’m using components and variants for menu items so I can reuse them across different frames and pages.The issue I’m facing is that when I update a component (for example, changing a price style, item description, or image), the changes don’t always propagate correctly to all instances. Some instances update as expected, while others remain unchanged or partially updated, even though they appear to be linked to the same main component.I’ve double-checked overrides, variants, and auto-layout settings, but the behavior is still inconsistent. Is this a known limitation with nested components or variants, or is there a best practice for managing large, multi-category menu systems in Figma to avoid this issue?

Knowing that currently figma make using React framework to build the applications, is there anyway export it to vue.js ?

HelloI used to have a connection with my GitHub repository. I made a few changes in the website that I built up in Figma, and wanted to do one last time push before I publish the website. I am having issues with the website getting connected to the GitHub so I can push the code. I have the same message popping “Failed to Push the Code XXX repo” or if I try to create another repo to connect after I copy the Figma makefile, I am getting “Could not create repository” in red on the message. I tried doing it on chrome and Safari, both failed. I clean up cookies, I re-log in, I charge from another computer as well. The issue is consistent. So, what? 

Hi! When copying an element between frames, the pasted item does not maintain its original position and shows minor coordinate discrepancies.Someone know how to fix this problem?

I was flabbergasted to find that the Figma iOS app on my ipad can’t present the nice slides we have prepared. Are iPads not a thing?The experience of presenting through safari is also stuffed. It does not go full screen, the install app banner is permanently stuck and the top bar for Figma goes behind the ipad clock and status bar.Please do better and justify my iPad lifestyle.

Hi, is there a way to change exposure levels for GIFs and video inside Figma? I know I can with still images but I can’t seem to find a way to make adjustments to GIFs/video. Are there any workarounds? And is it possible in development mode?Thanks!

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with the Figma → GitHub integration and I can’t seem to get it working.Every time I try to create a new GitHub repository directly from Figma, I get an error and the repo is not created. Because of that, I can’t export or sync the generated code to GitHub.Here’s what I’ve already tried: Removed the Figma GitHub integration from my GitHub account Deleted all repositories that were previously linked to Figma Reinstalled / re-authorized the GitHub integration from Figma Tried creating a brand-new repository again Repeated the whole process multiple times (around 10 attempts) Despite all of this, the issue persists: I still can’t create a repository from Figma, and the export to GitHub fails every time.At this point I’m not sure if this is: a permission or OAuth issue,

I've added a Navbar element which is Sticky. When I scroll down, it goes behind some certain elements. (not for all) I know the fix is just to set a higher z-index but there is none in Figma site.Did anyone resolve this problem?

I’m experiencing a recurring issue in a Figma Make project after extensive usage within a single project file.In this project, I was able to successfully run 1084 prompts. However, when attempting to run Prompt #1085, the execution fails repeatedly. Hey ! Same issue as a few others mentioned in this forum : I deleted a team by mistake and I wanted to restore it, but weirdly enough I didn’t receive the mail / link that I should have according to the docs.Similar issues in the forum seems to point to the fact that another mail may be defined as owner and the mail may have been sent there instead, but I’m pretty sure I was t he owner (and if not I probably shouldn’t be allowed to delete the team in the first place).So yeah I’m confused, if anyone faced similar issue happy to have your thoughts on the subject !

hii hae an account with figma, and am hesitant to share personal inormation here, but that account was shared with me as a team member with me being an admin of the team.We recently fired a designer, and before we could remove assets they went rogue, kicked us out of figma, and stole all of our designs.We’re following up with approrpriate authorities, but want to see if there is anything (hopefully) we can do on this end. I have full control of the organization as an owner of it, can verify anything about it - even at the domain level (like txt record verification ) - including people with whom the account was shared, billing info, etc. At this point, because we have been removed from the account, we are not only concerned with the designs, but with the fact that we were paying for figma and have no lost access, fundamentally making it impossible for us to change billing information, and ultiamtely causing us expense that we cannot control.

Figma Sites: I want an image to DISSOLVE into another image after a delay. It works when transition is set to “instant”, but the dissolve does not work (it looks same as instant). 

I’m wondering if there is a reason for the delay in response to my Jan 6, 2026 email to education@figma.com. The issue is open and I have an ID number but there has been no response. I am locked out of Figma even though Sheer ID approved me September 2025. I have provided all the info from my correspondence with SheerID in my email to Figma. Anyone else have this issue?
