Hello, our bootcamp was approved and we verified our students. However, we’re running into permission issues which we couldn’t solve on our own. I’ve send an e-mail to education@figma.com but haven’t received a response yet.  SituationEdu plan was approved as a bootcamp Student email addresses were pre-submitted for verification purposes Permissions are set so that everyone in the Figma workspace (that has the Edu plan) has edit access at the team level Those students were invited to that workspace Each file has permissions set so that everyone in the workspace can access Students can access the workspace Students are reporting seeing a blue banner telling them if they don't verify their edu status they will be removed shortly (even though we just verified them) Students also followed the steps from the blue banner link (in addition to use pre-submitting them) Students are not able to edit files Students who are given individual edit access are still not able to edit files.We’re circum

I am the owner of this file and I have been working in it for weeks and all of a sudden it says that I am not able to copy. That I only have viewing capabilities. I need this file for a workshop in 2 days. This can’t happen!

Not able to login and register for Config India Oct event on https://config.figma.com/india/ It shows wrong password error and even clicking reset password shows a message that reset email has been sent but nothing inbox or in spams. Tried with both paid account and free account. 

The Edit pointer button next to the Make Kit button is missing in some of my Figma Make files, but not all of them. Figma is up to date, I have a Full Seat, and lots of credits so those aren’t the issues.

I'm unable to edit a FigJam file in an Education team. Although I'm invited with Can edit permissions, the file always opens in View only and displays the "Verification required" banner asking me to verify my student status.I've already tested this with a brand-new Figma account, invited the same way, and the exact same issue occurs. However, another brand-new non-student account invited to the same file can edit without any verification prompt.We've confirmed:I have Can edit permissions. The issue occurs in both the browser and desktop app. The account is new, so it's not related to previous workspace memberships. Other collaborators who are not students can edit the file normally.Could you please investigate why my accounts are being forced into Education verification while other non-student accounts in the same workspace are not?

User experience issue - I did not expect this from Figma's event page! I wanted to revisit one question before submitting but before that I wanted complete all the question, then go back to that. On the last page, which apparently did not look like last because it had a next button, I thought there are more questions on the next page. Clicked it and boom! It got submitted. Why such an experience?

The generation does not complete and no usable result is produced.This has happened many times across multiple attempts. In most cases, I have to submit the same prompt again from the beginning. My internet connection is stable, and the issue also occurs after refreshing the page and restarting the browser.The main problem is that AI credits appear to have been deducted for these failed and incomplete generations.Based on my credit balance before and after the failures, I estimate that more than 2,000 AI credits may have been consumed without receiving a completed result. Hello! 🤠I am running into an issue when attempting to control a Nested Component’s Variant with a String Variable which changes value based on the Mode selected. Specifically, the Variant is switching just fine, but the Boolean properties of the Nested Component are being reset to their default values. In Figma Motion, even though ‘Select All’ and marquee-select highlight all motion layers, the selected layers do not behave as a single unit unless you shift-click each layer manually.If you select them using ‘Select All’ or marquee-select, clicking and dragging any layer breaks the selection and only moves that single layer.

I'm writing to dispute an unexpected charge on my account for AI Credits, billed for the period June 24 to July 24.Here are the details of the issue:1. I had already unsubscribed from the AI Credits add-on/feature in my Figma account settings.2. My Professional plan includes 3,000 AI credits per month, and I did not exceed this limit during the billing period in question.3. Hi Figma Support Team,I am writing to request a refund for the recent charge of $41.30 on my account, which occurred on July 28, 2026.I originally subscribed to and authorized the $5 collaborator seat, which fits my current workflow perfectly. However, my account was subsequently charged an additional $41.30. It appears this may have been an unintended automatic upgrade to a full Design seat, or another charge that I do not recognize.The basic collaborator seat is the absolute maximum I require. Hi there,I found that a rectangle using pattern fill disappears when exported as a PDF. However, the same object exports correctly in formats like JPG.After testing, I noticed that the shape only becomes visible in the PDF when I increase the opacity to an abnormally high level. Overall, it seems like the opacity of pattern-filled shapes is being reduced a lot during PDF export, which does not match how it appears in Figma.This looks like a bug. Hello,I am facing a critical problem with a file named "Untitled" located in my Drafts folder, which I have been actively working on for more than 6 months.After running Help → Troubleshooting → Reset and Reload in the desktop application, the file lost all of its content. It currently opens as a completely blank canvas in both the desktop app and the web version.Unfortunately, I cannot retrieve the direct URL from the tab, but it should be under my account drafts as an empty "Untitled" file. Figma Make page not loading 

Hi all,We use Dust (dust.tt) as our AI platform at our company and we'd like to connect it to Figma's remote MCP server. We've gone through the registration process several times and emailed mcpserver@figma.com, but haven't heard back yet.Two questions:1. Does anyone have info on the status of Dust's registration as an MCP client?2. More broadly, are there plans to open up the remote MCP server to any client in the future, rather than an approved list?This is currently blocking some internal projects, so any insight would be appreciated. even after restarting laptop 

I’m experimenting with refactoring a loading spinner component to use the new Figma Motion features, to leverage the new motion variables (duration and timing). Previously we had animated the loading spinner by creating a looping rotation using prototype interactions.I’ve set it up to rotate 360deg with a duration of 1000ms. I’ve dragged the motion timeline to 1000ms. Previewing the animation on the master component works as expected.However, when I add an instance of this component in another Frame, Page, or another Figma file the motion timeline changes to 2000ms. The spinner is no longer continuously spinning, it pauses in the middle.How can I ensure that all instances have the set 1000ms timeline duration?

Variant layer names in the format Prop=Value (e.g., State=Selected) work correctly and are reflected in the "Current variant" panel. However, simply clicking into the layer name field to select/focus it — with no actual edit — and then clicking away causes Figma to throw:"This layer has an invalid name. Make sure that all variant names are of the form: Prop=Value, Prop=Value, …"After this happens, the "Current variant" panel's State dropdown shows "—" (empty/unset) instead of the correct value.Steps to reproduce:Open a component set with a variant layer named in valid format, e.g., State=Selected (property recognized correctly, shown in Current variant panel as State: Selected).
