I have lost files from my Figma account. I looked at the drafts > deleted tab and its not there. I also filter searched all projects made by (me) and no luck finding it. I have a link the prototype because I had it linked to my old portfolio and it says that Prototype not found. Either this file doesn’t exist or you don’t have permission to view it. Ask the file owner to verify the link and/or update permissions. This project was definetly used through this email so im confused. I dont know if any other files got lost, but this is a case study for my portflio and a really important project to me so I hope you can help me recover it.

I am a master’s degree student at Politecnico di Milano, and I’m having an ongoing issue verifying my student status. I have contacted Figma Support before, and I was informed that the issue is related to SheerID. However, when I reached out to SheerID, they said it’s a Figma-related problem.I’m certain that I am still an active student, so this verification issue is not on my side. I have tried to verify my student status multiple times, the system says “verified,” but my Figma profile does not update to reflect the Education status.Could you please look into this and help resolve it? I really need access to the student benefits for my studies. 

Hey Figma team,I wanted to report a problem that’s been bugging our team for the past few months. We have an Icon Library in our design system, as well as a separate glyph library. These icons are used in different sizes across the product (16px, 24px, etc.). The master components of each icon and glyph contain elements which are all set to ‘scale’.However, within our larger components, whenever we want to swap an instance of an icon with a different one from our library, the scaling (of dimensions, stroke width, and border radius) is not properly applied, resulting in a broken view. One example is:We have a nested icon component scaled to 16x16px; We replace the instance with another icon from either library (original component of which is 24x24 but all elements set to scale) and expect it to scale properly to the 16x16 dimensions. This should be very simple: I have a component with 2 variants. Variant1 has a text layer which is not underlined text, and Variant2 has the same text layer (same layer name of course), which is underlined text. I added a hover interaction on Variant1 to change to Variant2 When I test it out in the prototype, the underlined text doesn’t show up on hover. To make sure the variant switch is happening on hover, I changed the background of Variant2, and sure enough, the background change does happen on hover. So for some reason the text underline is just not happening. This is a bug, right? Any workarounds?

I’ve noticed uncomfortable lags when I share my screen via MS Teams and present something in Figma Desktop. It feels like fps drops drastically - from 60 to around 15-20. Mouse hover feedbacks with a noticeable delay. These lags I started notice after updating to macOS Sequoia. My setup: Macbook Pro 2021 M1 Pro with 32GB RAM, macOS Sequoia 15.0 External monitor HP Z27 connected via usb-c thunderbolt Figma Desktop 124.4.7 MS Teams for mac Version 24244.507.3125.3475 I started investigating to identify the root cause and so far I figured out the next: The issue is only with Figma Desktop and MS Teams mac app. If I use Figma in browser or MS Teams in browser, everything is smooth. The issue is more noticeable with UI3. When I switch back to previous UI, it works much smoother, however not perfect and smooth as without sharing. Expectation:As a designer in Figma Sites I want to be able to add interactions on components and frames to link to pages. 🔗Issue:Link interactions on components/frames doesn’t work, neither in the preview or published site. 😣Work around:If the frame has any text you can add the link to it as well, then the frame link will inherit it and work properly. 🧐

simple bu critical, i am scrolling in figma make input text does not work. sometime i have many context to input, then when i try to scroll up using a gesture in my trackpad, it does not work. i need to click UP button to move to higher section and it is not really nice

Hello Team,I am currently working on a project where we need to setup SCIM for just auto provisioning and deprovisioning of users and we do not want automatic management of seats. We have organizational plan with Figma and I believe we can setup just auto provisioning and deprovisioning of users with this plan.Below is my query regarding the same.There are existing users in Figma and when we configure SCIM for auto provisioning of the users then will these existing users get duplicated or re-created using SCIM and syncing with IdP? What will be the behavior of SCIM with existing users? Will it cause any kind of issues with existing users like loosing their access, loosing project data etc.?Prompt response will be appreciated. Thanks & Regards,Ashish

I have two support request tickets: 1597038 and 1599823. Both are marked as solved, but I did not receive any email explaining why they were closed, even though my email account is still suspended and I cannot log in.When my account was suspended, I also did not receive any email explaining the reason. When a team is working on a large design project in Figma with many people editing files at the same time, how do you organize versions and separate work so everyone can contribute without breaking each other’s work?

Hi,I am currently looking for a figjam board I created last year which for some reason is not showing at all in my figma now. In fact the whole project, which was all of my semester notes for that semester in all of my modules, is now somehow missing. Can somebody please perhaps help me in finding and recovering this project and files? It’s really important for an upcoming exam that I can find them.Thanks!

Hi! Has the canvas panning keyboard shortcuts changed recently? I use Ctrl+Space+scroll wheel to pan and zoom the canvas but now that keyboard shortcut puts me into a Keyboard picking mode. Is this new? It really gets in the way of working.

Hi Figma Support Team,I was asked to re-verify my Education Plan status. Although the verification had expired for only 24 hours, I successfully re-verified my account. However, my teams are still locked, as if the re-verification hadn’t gone through.Could someone please help me with this issue?

Yes I know this topic has been raised before, but I would like to raise it again, since it is breaking the core interaction in my design system. Is Figma even aware of this issue? Since the last discussion about it is ~2years ago, and this issue still exists. Steps: Create a Button component set with 2 variants: Default, On Press Add interactions in the variant: “Default” → While pressing → Change to “On Press” Insert an instance of the “Default” button into a new Frame Add interactions to the button: On Click → Open overlay. Check the “Close when clicking outside” box. Test the prototype Results When you click the button, the button change to “On Press”, the overlay opens, but when clicking outside the overlay to close it, the button does not reset back to “Default”. Expected: The button should reset to “Default”.

I have accidentally renamed my file by using key commands. Not sure how it happens but the file has been renamed Z. I bet it has to do with Undo key commands. Is there a way to make changing the file name a little harder so this does not happen.

I need help understanding a billing issue on my account. On October 15, 2025, I paid $5.90 for my plan, which included:  0 Full seats 0 Dev seats 1 Collaborator seat  Everything was working fine until today. When I logged in on November 15, 2025, my account suddenly shows an overdue invoice for $41.30, and the breakdown looks incorrect and confusing.  What the invoice shows now The invoice states:  Prorated Professional Full Seat (Monthly): $20 Prorated Collab Seat: –$5 Renewing Monthly Seats (Nov 15 – Dec 15):   1 Full seat → $20 0 Dev

I'm honestly shocked by how poor SheerID’s support has been. I’ve spent months trying to re-verify my student plan and I keep running into all kinds of obstacles. They told me they would do a manual verification, but then they stopped replying.At this point, I don’t know what else to do. I’m even starting to consider switching to another platform. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi! I'm doing some Figma illustrations and need to print them so I'm transferring them over to Illustrator. Is there a way to export the new "texture" feature as vector? I've tried: flattening, outlining the stroke, exporting as SVG/PDF, but nothing's working. Hope someone can help (and apologies if this has already been asked and I missed it) 🙏🏻
