Hello dear Figma Team,I purchased a Figma Organization plan with two seats: 1 Dev seat and 1 Full seat, for a total of $960.However, it seems that 3 additional seats may have been added to my organization by accident. I do not need these extra seats — I only need 2 seats in total: 1 Dev and 1 Full.Figma currently shows that I have 3 available seats, but I couldn’t find a way to remove them. It also shows that my next quarterly invoice will be $1,574.14, which is beyond the budget I had planned.Could you please help me remove these extra seats and adjust the upcoming invoice? The quarterly invoice is scheduled for July 8.Thank you very much for your help.
Dear Figma team,The call window on the Figma canvas is often obscured by the yellow notification banner, and there is currently no way to move or reposition it. Please consider allowing users to drag the call window or automatically repositioning it when notifications appear.
Hi everyone,I’m Lala — I made Pulpo for Figma (plugin ID: 1579196395853602242), a little plugin for mapping experiment flows on the canvas.I’m stuck on something weird and would love any advice from folks who’ve been here before! My issueAfter publishing an update, the Community plugin still shows an intro screen with “Connect to Pulpo” and “Web sync enabled”. Those controls were from an internal experiment and were never meant for the published plugin. What works on my endWhen I import the plugin locally in Figma Desktop → Development using my manifest.json, everything looks right:Intro only has New experiment, Load example, docs, and contact No Connect/sync stuffSo the code on my machine seems fine, but the Community version still looks like it’s serving another bundle. What I’ve tried so farCleaned up the repo and removed all the experimental sync UI Fresh build → re-import → Publish update Unpublished → re-import → Publish update Hard refresh AND reset on Figma Also reached out to Fig
Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a strange behavior with Figma’s text layout-resizing mode. When I paste a text string longer than 28 characters, the layout-resizing property automatically changes to Auto Height. For example: Pasting abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz12 (28 characters) → layout-resizing switches to Auto Height. Pasting abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz1 (27 characters) → layout-resizing stays as Auto Width. This happens consistently. Is this expected behavior? Is there a hidden threshold or setting that triggers this? I’d like to keep the text box as Auto Width regardless of length, but it keeps forcing the change when I paste longer content.Has anyone else encountered this? Any workarounds or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
When designing content for parents, one of the biggest UX challenges is reducing decision fatigue while presenting trustworthy information. I recently analyzed a page focused on helping parents choose safe deodorants for children and tweens. From a content design perspective, the experience highlights several UX principles:Clear information hierarchy Scannable headings and sections Age-specific guidance for users FAQ-based content architecture Trust-building through educational content rather than aggressive promotion Mobile-friendly reading experienceThe article also demonstrates how content can guide users through a decision-making process by answering common questions such as when kids should start using deodorant, what ingredients to look for, and how to choose products for sensitive skin.I'm interested in hearing how other designers approach UX writing and content structure for health, wellness, and parenting topics. What techniques do you use to improve readability, trust, and use
Title:Community publications disappeared after restoring deleted team/projectDescription:Hi Figma Support,I accidentally deleted a team/project around June 10. It contained several files that had been published to Figma Community.I restored the team/project, and the original design files are now available again in my Drafts. However, the original Community publications disappeared from my Community profile. When I open these files and try to publish them again, Figma shows the full “Publish your file to Community” flow with the “Next” button. I do not see “Publish update” or “Unpublish”, so it looks like Figma is treating them as new Community resources rather than the original published listings.I have not republished the files because I don’t want to lose the original Community pages, publication history, likes, comments, duplicate counts, and attribution.Community nickname: @vldklsnkvTeam/project name: ProjectsAffected file links: IOS Live Activity Design Conceptshttps://www.figma.co
I haven’t used Figma since finishing my studies and would like to downgrade my account from the Education to Starter plan as I’m starting to pick up freelance work. There’s no self-serve way for me to do this - can someone please assist?
I canceled my subscription within 24 hours, but I see that the plan is still showing as active for the month. I would like a full refund.
API Error: 400 Invalid JSON schema: regex lookaround is not supported. Found at $.properties.fileKey.pattern. I am using Claude Code with the company's proxy API key to invoke a Figma plugin for frontend development. It was working fine yesterday, but today, calling the Figma plugin triggers the exception shown above.I’d like to know if anyone has encountered this situation before—is this an issue thrown by the Figma plugin, or is it a problem with the intermediary API key I’m using?
Hi Figma Support Team,I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out to report a recurring issue I've been experiencing in Figma related to component instances and variants. The problem occurs when I use components with variants: sometimes the text, spacing, or layout inside an instance does not match the master component, even though no overrides have been applied. The instance appears visually incorrect or misaligned. However, as soon as I click on the problematic element—or make a minimal interaction such as toggling a property—the instance suddenly snaps back into the correct layout and becomes fully aligned with the main component. This behavior suggests that the layout or override system is not syncing properly until a manual interaction forces a recalculation. It happens inconsistently, but often enough to disrupt workflow, especially in large design systems. Here are the key symptoms:Instances display incorrect text alignment, spacing, or layout on initial load.No overrides are applie
Heeeey Figma Experts! Anyone has tried to recreate the peel effect that Piers has created? https://www.figma.com/@pierscowburn/riffs/dec11915-a5cc-4390-bdb8-6225fff6d05f
I have canceled my subscription and even if I have free plan, you have charged some money from my credit card. Why are you steeling money from my credit card? What should I do?
Our team is noticing that our main design system library is having hundreds of changes flagged in the publishing panel, even after a weekend of not working on the library. The panel shows what’s modified, removed, or added, but isn’t clear what the changes are or what caused them. It’s scary publishing these types of updates because they aren’t coming from our team. Is this something being caused by Figma? How can we feel comfortable publishing so many changes when we weren’t even the ones making them?
I appreciate the added AI feature in Figma Design — it’s very helpful.Recently, however, I encountered the following issue:The AI agent seems to take too long for simple data filling. In the example of a table with 8 columns and 8 rows, I selected only the options to change the text and the images using the available checkbox options. Despite that, it took around 4 minutes to complete.Additionally, I noticed that it performed two layers of changes without being instructed to do so. First, it applied the visible changes correctly, but then it replaced the image placeholders with colored circles.Since I did not want to change the placeholders, and I also forgot to add restrictions for some columns that needed to remain static, I tried to undo the changes. However, because the AI agent seems to run in two iterations, it only stored the last change. As a result, the rollback only restored the state before the image changes, not before the initial data changes.Since it appears to run multip
When I open drafts or projects that I haven opened in a few weeks the canvas is only showing as either white or a gradient dark screen. The project i’ve been working in recently opens just fine.

Hi Figma Community!I'm working on a design-to-code automation tool and would like to integrate with Figma's Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint. The IssueWhen requesting the mcp:connect scope during OAuth authorization, I receive:{"error": true,"status": 400,"message": "Invalid scopes for app"}OAuth App Details:Redirect URI: http://localhost:3000/callback Current working scopes: files:read, file_comments:write Blocked scope: mcp:connectQuestionsIs the mcp:connect scope available for third-party OAuth apps? If restricted, is there a beta program or application process? Is this scope only available to official Figma extensions (VS Code, Cursor)? What I've Tried Standard OAuth flow works fine with public scopes Got valid Bearer token MCP endpoint (https://mcp.figma.com/mcp) returns 401 with www-authenticate: Bearer scope="mcp:connect"
Hi, we are having an issue with figma slides and the layout shifting on random slides when a certain user joins. The left margin seems to disappear and information on that side hugs to the outside of the frame. It appears to be random but the shift is identical across a random number of slides. What is going on? Thanks
I made a simple change by adding a label to a button in the layout, and it consumed 176 credits. I'm struggling to understand how Figma Make credits are calculated. If this is the expected usage for such a small change, it doesn't seem very practical.
I recently started university and prior to that had a private Figma account (with my private email) which I then linked with my school to get an education license. Now I had to start a school account (with my school email) as well but cannot get an education license there, because it is already linked with my private account. I know education licenses cannot be transferred, but is it possible to cancel it on my private account and then reapply for it on my school account? Or will this option be blocked? It’s not really about transfering my work but to put the education license on the correct account.Thank you for your help.

Dear Figma Support Team,I am writing to escalate my unresolved refund request regarding the USD 133 charge for the Professional Team monthly plan.I have already contacted Figma Support three times through the Support Hub, but I have not received a proper response or resolution. Instead, my requests were marked as “Solved,” even though my issue has not been resolved at all.I find this very unfair and unacceptable. I was charged USD 133, which is approximately KRW 210,000, without clearly understanding in advance that I would be charged such a large amount for the next billing period. The only response I received was an explanation about prorated billing and instructions to cancel the subscription. However, I have already canceled the subscription. I will not use the paid features anymore. What I am requesting is not simply a cancellation, but a refund for the unexpected USD 133 charge. As a student, this is a significant financial burden. I believe it is my legitimate right as a customer
