Hi Figma team / community,I’m looking for help with a billing issue and possible refund.I was originally on a Student plan, but I ran into a student verification issue that took 1–2 months to resolve. During that time, I upgraded to a Professional plan because my files would otherwise be locked, which would have affected my teammates.I have since left the team, but I’m still being charged for the Professional plan. I’ve now been charged for over two months, even though the upgrade was only a temporary workaround due to the verification issue (which was not caused by me).Given that: I upgraded only to prevent my work from being locked The verification issue took a long time to resolve I’ve already left the team but am still being charged I’d like to ask: How can I fully cancel the Professional subscription so I’m no longer charged? Is it possible to receive a refund for the 3-4 months I was charged due to this verification issue? I’d really appreciate any guidance or help resolvin

I am getting this screen everytime I try to load my design that was created in Figma Make. I have an very important meeting and now I have nothing to show. What is going on. I have 1,700 credit remaining out of 4,250. I can see other publish Figma Make files, but I am unable to see the latest project I created last night. Please help, this request is urgent.

Good afternoon.The command in Figma is Shift+D. It opens the Dev Mode window, and it's also supposed to close it.However, for some time now, neither Shift+D nor Ctrl+Win have been working. The Dev Mode window can only be closed with the Back to Design Mode button.I'd like to know if this is a temporary bug or will it always be like this? It's really inconvenient.Thanks!

Does anyone else have this issue?Where the sub-components is locked & positioned with “Ignore auto layout” then suddenly they start to move on its own half way through my work on various artboards (not components, all different artboard)  even though I have NOT touched the position of the locked layer or the main component of for example the “scrollbar” component.   Like this? mass components with the “ignore auto layout” move on its own Even after I locked down the layers, the change still happened over on all my artboard frames (20<) T^T all of a sudden (note the top bar with (x), button and scrollbar are all components)Before: After 

I duplicated the agency read-only file as File B, and I also have File A, which is the older agency file.Both files use the same design system, but File B contains some newly added pages. What would be the best way to:  Copy the new pages from File B Move them into File A Relink the instances on those pages so they point to File A’s components (right now all the instances are still linked to File B) Thanks

Hi all - I have tried to trouble-shoot this issue but I cannot, for the life of me, get Figma to do what I want.  I have a very simple image variant that has a desktop and mobile version. The height of the image is the same in desktop and mobile. When the image scales down from desktop to mobile, the left and right edges should contract but the whole image should not scale down. See image explanation below. I’m also sharing the settings I have for the main component. Are there any fixes for this?Heeeeelp!    

Hi everyone!I'm trying to replicate the TikTok "Classic" text style in Figma for some social media slides. I want the white background (Fill) to wrap tightly around each line of text individually (creating that "stepped" look), exactly like it does in the app.Right now, when I use Auto Layout on a text box, it just creates one big rectangle. I've tried "Hug Contents," but it still treats the whole block as one shape.Is there a way to do this without manually creating a separate text layer for every single line? Maybe a plugin or a clever workaround?Thanks in advance!

Asset search does not return results in any file (new or old), both on Web and Desktop. Even newly created components with simple names are not searchable. It seems the account search index is broken.

I have a problem when I try to use symbols — they appear in a distorted/broken form. I deleted the application and reinstalled it, but the same problem still exists. I also opened the website online and found the same issue there. 

I’ve seen this issue raised a couple times. I’m hoping to archive an old file despite the warnings against all data lost after closing an account being permanent. I transferred ownership of the file before closing it and now it’s gone.I had two accounts. Account A – under an inactive email address but I kept this account open because it of the AI credits associated with it. I thought I could use them when trying Magic Animator but then had to buy credits anyways? We’re running into an issue with Code Connect that started last Friday.We’re currently rebuilding our Design System, and up until last week we were using Code Connect successfully to map Figma components to code in our GitHub repo. Since last Friday, variant restrictions no longer match as expected, so the intended use cases/examples don’t appear even though the file still publishes without errors.What we observe Publishing the .figma.tsx file succeeds. Repo access/permissions appear unchanged (Figma still has access to the repo). The Code Connect example that should match a specific variant combination never shows. This exact setup was working correctly before last Friday. First, I shared the prototype for review. Then I wanted to move the prototype to a team project, but there was no option to move the prototype. Then I went to the prototype and clicked "Move prototype to team project." After that, the prototype disappeared. Hi, Figma Education Team,I am writing to request urgent assistance with my Figma Education Plan. Like many other users, I am experiencing serious re-verification issues.I am a UX design student at Yrgo, Sweden, and I lost access to my Figma Education Plan in September 2025 after missing the re-verification window. My account was then downgraded to a Free plan.I have contacted Figma Support multiple times regarding this problem (including tickets #1541584 and #1615172) and was always referred to SheerID. I have contacted SheerID several times and submitted all required information and proof of enrollment, but my tickets are closed automatically without any response (“your ticket is permanently closed”). Hi everyone,I accidentally approved an additional seat on our Pro plan. I removed it immediately after noticing the mistake, and the seat was not used.Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a way to prevent the extra charge, or is contacting billing support the only option in this case?I would appreciate any advice.Thank you.

HiMultiple component buttons with variables and interactions are mimicking what the other does unexpectedly. I have several pages each with a question and a selection of answers. I’ve used variables to help with the interactions and it was working fine. But suddenly once answer A for example is picked, it's already highlighted as if its been selected on the other page. I’ve looked into issues, so I’ve given them different names but the issue still persists. The one thing that is connecting them all is the use of variables applied when using interactions. I was under the impression the same variable sets could be used on multiple buttons? But should I have different one. So page one would have Question 1 set, etc. Thank you in advance for the help!Best, Matt

Glass effect not working if inside Auto Layout parent with "First on top" Canvas stacking order. (And if that glass effect element is wrapper by another frame)Create a frame element (like a navbar) that has Glass effect and call it glassNavbar Place it in a frame representing a page.  Add some more elements in the page so we have a page that the navbar is sitting on top of. Add auto layout to all of the elements (including the navbar) and put the “Canvas stacking” in “Last on top” mode so that the first element (the glassNavbar) to appear on top of the other ones (basically a higher z-index) In Prototype Tab select the Scroll behaviour position of the glassNavbar to “Sticky (stop at top edge)” so that it works like a navbar. Now the glassNavbar is sticky but the problem is that it sticks at the very top edge of the screen, I need some margin. So far everything works properly and the glass effect is working. What is the “one-time charges and credits” $20 for? I am renewing my subscription for 2 full seat users, and yet i also have to pay an extra $20 for this. Please help to clarify why
