How to connect Free Figma mcp with free claud code to the browser

I’m not able to connect Free Figma Account with Free cluade account in browser. Can anyone help me to solve the problem?

Hey ​@Pabitra Show, welcome to Figma Forum, and thanks for reaching out.

Just to confirm — when you say "browser," do you mean the remote MCP server? The remote server is available on all plans, while the desktop server requires a Dev or Full seat on a paid plan.

With that in mind, here are a few things to check:

  1. Setup steps: Could you walk through the setup guide here and let me know where things get stuck (e.g. how far you’re able to get in steps 1 - 9), including any specific error messages or unexpected behavior? Guide link here: Claude Code and Figma: Set up the MCP server → Set up the remote Figma MCP server.
  2. Permissions: Make sure the account you're using belongs to the same plan as the file you're trying to access.
  3. File link: Confirm the link you're passing is a valid Figma Design, FigJam, or Figma Make file.
  4. Restart your session: If you've already registered the MCP server, try restarting your Claude Code session.
