Hi, suddenly I logged out of Figma Desktop app and cannot log in to it anymore, when I asked to log in via web browser, but nothing happen on the Desktop app side. However, it’s working fine on web browser. I have the latest Figma version, and my device is Macbook Pro M1 with Mac OS Tahoe 26.1

When attempting to re-verify my account for the education license I get the message “Verification Limit Exceeded”. I’ve contacted SheerID multiple times and they keep insisting my account is verified and there is nothing they can do or “reset”.I’ve shared this with them from the Figma Support page: "I am in higher education and trying to verify with SheerID, but see a “Verification Limit Exceeded” error message.Once you’ve hit your verification limit, contact the SheerID support team to reset your limit and continue working on your verification.”https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041061214-Figma-for-Education They keep replying that they can not reset the verification limit. Could you please fix the issue?

I canceled my subscription one month ago. This is confirmed by Figmas UI showing me that I'm on the Free plan. Nevertheless I had a charge of 5,95€ on my credit card today. What is happening here and why even 5,95€ i was on the 17,85€ plan before.

I am a Master’s student at TU Delft and currently I am doing my UX internship. I applied the student plan but accidentally assigned it to the figma account using my company’s email address. Today I changed my figma account’s email address from my company’s to my school’s, but I didn’t realize that this would revoke my student plan. When I found it out it was already too late. Now when I tried to redeem my student plan using my school’s email address, it just says “Verification Limit Exceeded. We're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.”I would like to know if you guys from Figma could help me redeem my student plan. I am currently still using my company’s email address, but I would like to change it back to my school’s. I will still need to use a lot of the features the student plan offer to do my graduation project, ect., so I would be really grateful if you guys could help me out.Thx in advan

I have a scenario where I need to fetch data (GET /v1/files/:key) from a file that has Password Protection enabled (Shared via "Anyone with the link + Password").Currently, when my script attempts to access these files using a valid X-Figma-Token, I receive a 403 Forbidden error.I have looked through the REST API documentation but cannot find a parameter or header to pass the file password.I noticed that when accessing via the browser, the client makes a request to an internal endpoint (https://www.figma.com/api/files/:key/check_password) which sets a session cookie. Hello there, please kindly support the broswer experience on ipad pro. currently most features work but only the zoom in and zoom out through the track pad is broken when trying to edit figma design on ipad browser (safari or chrome). Please please please kindly fix it. it means that we can learn figma and use it on the go and also most of students are using ipad as a on-the-go device in campus. at home, we also plug in ipad pro m4 into large monitor given the ipadOS26 supports multi-tasking really well! thank you!

Good day. I have a problem. I selected all the assets on the project page and deleted them. When I clicked  "Undo" Figma crashed, citing insufficient memory (64GB of DDR5 is apparently not enough).Could you please, if possible, restore the page to the state it was in before the deletion? Perhaps using a server backup or something similar? Or could you suggest where I can turn to with this problem? If I need to subscribe to something or do anything else – that's not a problem, just please help me with the assets.Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone!Our team has built a multi-brand design system that supports three different brand themes, each with both light and dark modes.All our icons are created as unions. This helps preserve the color override when an icon is swapped inside a component. For example: all icons use the “icon” color variable by default, but within a success inline message component, the icon is overridden with the “icon-success” color variable (green), as the icon should always be green in that context. Swapping, say, a checkmark icon with “icon-success” applied for a shield icon retains the correct “icon-success” variable. So far, so good.However, when we re-theme the inline message component from Brand 1 to Brand 2, the icon switches to a different brand-specific variant from the icon component set. Hello! I have a logo I made in Illustrator that I’m trying to import into Figma. When I import, the logo gets warped and jagged (see screenshot). This happens both when I try to copy/paste, and when I export as SVG. I am including SVG code in Illustrator. Help?!

I’m experiencing a critical issue: after entering a prompt in Figma Make (the AI-assisted area), the design stopped rendering. After reloading, I can no longer access Figma at all — my account/projects dashboard won’t load (endless loading / page fails), so I can’t open any projects, not only Figma Make files. Troubleshooting done: * Stable, fast internet connection (other websites work normally)* Using a VPN; tried multiple countries/locations — no change* Cleared/checked DNS cache* Restarted browser and tried multiple browsers — same issue everywhere* Rebooted router and computer — no change This started right after that Figma Make prompt/update, and now the Figma projects page consistently won’t load. Could you please investigate and advise next steps?

I have a Design system file with a component Accordion. As you can see in the video linked below, it has 2 states: open and closed, and inside it has a placeholder component for content. The idea is to replace placeholder with real content when needed.Now I want to use this component in another file, so I replace placeholder with “real content”. When I play it tho, my real content is replaced with original placeholder - and that’s not what I want. BUT, when I start with its state OPEN, then it works as expected. Until yesterday, our team used 1 annual full seats, and 3 monthly full seats.Today, I changed them to 2 annual full seats and 2  annual dev seats.So here’s the problem: I need to file in a expense report; the new boss wants to know how every cent is spent, and I can’t understand how or why the billings are so.If I’m being billed for December’s usage, December usage should be that of 3 full seats = 60$, which has been for the last couple of months.If I’m Paying for Annual, One-time charge, shouldn’t it be 1 annual full seat, 16*12=192$, and 2 dev seats 24*12=288$, which adds up to 480$? Even if it’s been prorated, just how does 200$ popup out of nowhere?Also, the billing page

Hi Support Team, I have submitted a support request to help with changing my account email 2 days ago and got no feedback what so ever!Case Number: 1650121I receive the confirmation email to change my account, but when I click on it, I receive an error message stating that the *Link Expires or Malformed*This is quite frustrating and the lack of response or ability to directly chat with a human instead of the closed loop with your AI chat agent is adding layers to this frustration! 

i have a file created by myself and have been using for a long time . it suddenly shows that "file permissions error: you don't have access to this file". And it disappeared from all tabs - not in trash or other teams. Please help me with this issue as this file contains tons of important info.
