I have used 3 different libraries in my page and have kept everything updated. The components I used in my work files are auto updating and somehow changing schemas and sizes without me or my team touching them. I am not able to track these as well on what has changed. Some frames which are marked for dev have changes as well and we dont have any notice or indication of this. Am I going wrong somewhere or is this a bug from figma?I looked at the history and I dont see any one touching anything. 

I’m currently trying to verify my student status for the Figma Education plan, but I’ve been unable to complete the verification process.I have already uploaded the required documentation, including: My Student ID Enrollment Verification Tuition Receipts I reached out to SheerID for assistance, but my support tickets keep getting closed automatically without any explanation or resolution. I am a student currently attending ASU as an undergraduate studying Computer Science. For an assignment for one of my classes, I needed to create a figma account using my ASU email which I have done and am using right now. However, I also need to get the “free for students and professors” plan as specified in the assignment description for my class, but when trying to verify my student status with uploaded documents I keep getting rejected. I have submitted pictures of my class schedule, ASU profile, major map, and my student ID. I am unsure what to do and need assistance getting verified asap. Thank you so much in advance.

I’ve got verification of educational account, however, I cannot upgrade my team. when I try to upgrade my team through pressing the plan changing button it does not show the educational plan option. Can the support team help check the verification status of my account?

The problem is that I ran out of space in my email, so the letter wasn't sent. I freed up some space, but the letter still hasn't arrived. How can I get a link to restore the team again? support hasn't responded to me for 24 hours

Why does the slice tool move everything out of the way instead of sitting on top of what you want to slice? It does this even if I’m on the top frame. Coming from adobe I’m completely lost as to why this functions like this. The goal here is to get half of a section exported. Is there another way to do this?  

Hello. We are looking for a way to create banners at scale in various sizes (ex. 300x250, 250x250, 970x250). The solution right now is that we are using a Component that we copy over all the banners. And that works for one single set. The trouble shows up when we try to have 2 (Master) Components within the same file. Basically Component A (image) drives many banners.But if we copy Component A (image) to become Component B (image), the connects to its associated banners are lost. Can this be done in Figma - directly? Or Buzz? Or using a plugin? Thank you.

Hi everyone,I’m working on a design case study for a client and I need to create a key visual and then adapt it into at least 10 different digital ad formats (Instagram feed, stories, reels, YouTube banner, email header, display ads, etc.). I’d like to automate this process in Figma using Auto Layout + Variables, so that when I update the main KV (texts, colors, images), all other formats adapt automatically.I already know the basics of Auto Layout, but I’m not sure how to structure the file to make it scalable and avoid manually adjusting every format.Do you have any tips, workflows, or even free plugins/templates that could help me speed this up?Thanks a lot 🙏

When a Figma Make file is published as a template and remixed, images from the original file fail to load in the remixed copy. This makes image-dependent templates unreliable for our team.Is there an officially supported method to include images in a Make template that guarantees they persist through remixes?

I want to use a pen tablet in Figma Design. It basically works out of the box. The `Pencil` tool supports pen pressure, but how can I disable this?I want always to draw with a fixed width (like when I use a mouse). For example, in Photoshop, we can easily disable pen pressure from brush settings. 

Unable to publish website due to this error message.  No images arent my own.  How do I fix this?

When you go into figma slides and + create new style you have properties.Select create style and select more options.1. When I click on the dropdown where Inter is display the menu appears normally2. Drag the menu to the side 3. 2 font menus appear, this is like react bug I guess

After updating my password and being notified of new Terms and Conditions, all drafts I created in the last two years have disappeared. The missing drafts are not located in any Teams I belong to. They are not in Trash. I am using a Free (Student) account.  

I noticed while changing text style’s font that by dragging the scroll handle makes the font list disappear until I let go of the mouse button. I’m using Windows app.

Hi, it seems that libraries are not loading. Are there any network issue, or can we make it so that these liraries are cached or are local and you can keep working when offline? The case now is that i can create files, but saving them, changing a name or adding libraries do not seem to be saved or updated. Figma is not workable this way… 

I am on a free plan but would like to publish my site. I only need a basic starter package. How do I do this? 

Hi, well I have issue in my icon library that some icons are not changing colors when using them in other files/projects. I know that fix is to do CTRL+E and publish library but I have several hundred icons and that’s not possible because If I select all of them and click CTRL+E it will merge them. Is there some other fix ? I know that color not changing is known Figma bug. 

Figma Slides seem to not receive any love or updates from the Figma Team… what a shame for such a promising product.We are trying to simply animate a few text boxes and it turned out really cumbersome. The animation panel always resets to default instead of reusing the settings I just used for the previous layer (e.g. Fade, 150ms). Why would I ever want a piece of text to ‘Slide right’ at the slow pace of 600ms anyway…? 😅

I am experiencing an issue with my student verification status on my Figma account.My student verification was approved through SheerID on January 28, 2026, under my university email (@terpmail.umd.edu). SheerID confirmed that my request is approved and still active, and that I am not eligible to reapply within 335 days because the verification remains valid.However, my Figma account continues to request verification as if it has not been activated.I first contacted education@figma.com last month regarding this issue and did not receive a response. I followed up again last week  and still have not received any update or resolution.I have already: Cleared my browser cache Tried different browsers Used incognito/private mode Tried a different device At this point, it appears the SheerID approval has not synced properly with my Figma account. I would greatly appreciate assistance reviewing my account and activating the approved student status.Thank you.
