Changing pages in prototype on Mobile

Hello, I have a critical problem to report, and need help to prevent this from happening.

When I share a prototype, if I open in a mobile phone, tapping anywhere on the screen that doesn’t have an interaction, is changing pages. Doesn’t need to be a double tap neither tapping on the edge of the screen. So, testing something with users, is a critical problem because they’ll try interact with elements on the screen, that will simply move them to a previous/next page.

How can I block this from happening?

In the prototype settings I disabled the Figma shortcut, hints on click, hidden the UI and on the accessibility settings everything is switched off.

Hi @Bruno31, thanks for reaching out!

I understand how unexpected and frustrating this behavior must be for you. This is a feature of the Figma mobile app to make it easier to navigate between frames, especially if there are not any prototype flows applied. To prevent this from happening, pease make sure the first screen your prototype uses a Flow starting point.

That should fix things for you, but please let me know if you run into any further issues!

Hey @djv , thanks for the solution.

It indeed worked, however I find it strange that I previously had flows applied and it was still happening. After removing them and adding them again, it seems to be working just fine now!

Hi @Bruno31, so happy to hear this!

That does definitely sound odd that you did have flows applied. If you come across this issue again and you do have a Flow starting point on your first screen, please let me know!
